Guys Is it better to take only the first dose of COVID vaccine and wait for 14 days and travel or take first and second dose and travel without waiting for 14 days after the second dose? I have taken my first dose today and should take the second dose in 14 days time but if I take the second dose I won’t have 14 days to spare to wait before travel. Is it okay to travel 4/5 days after second dose ?

I have not heard of anyone been sent home from ABJ TLS. The worst case is maybe on Fridays when they don’t attend to WalkIn ppl. I did mine there and I have dropped off and picked 5 of my friends there too. I was there on Friday and they attended to maybe 6 or 7 walkins that were there early and asked the rest to come back on Monday.

Don't worry too much.
Try to book your TB Test at midnights, you'd find dates. Alternatively, try to use a laptop connected to a broadband, mobile internet can be slow sometimes. I booked for my friend this morning and got January 17th for him, he'd then go to IOM on Monday and reschedule. I was at IOM yesterday and they told me they find it difficult to attend to email requests because there are tons of emails. So many people won't get their email requests attended to this period. And for them to be able to reschedule you for appointment, you must have booked an appointment and gotten a reference number or gotten an error message while trying to book. This is the latest development for IOM Abuja.

For visa application, priority will be reintroduced in Nigeria towards the end of December, according to UKVI.
So, don't worry. Don't let the messages bother you, you'd meet up, considering your program start date and the late arrival window.

It doesn’t go beyond april 22 2022. I think they set it that way like you can’t book a date more than 3months ahead

priority should be back by then(hopefully) you can book you TB test for any date you get online and when you are ready go to the IOM center and request for a closer date with an evidence to show you really need a new date and you would be rescheduled to a date befor your visa appointment.

Guru’s what can I do to make best use of my time while waiting? I was hoping to use priority but as it’s been suspended I’ll use standard. My course start date is Jan 24th, although i have everything else ready my POF won’t be ready till Jan 4th. I have also been trying to book IOM Abuja online so at least I can do my TB test while waiting but I can’t find any dates. Is it okay for me to wait till I’m ready to apply then just go to Abuja IOM do TB test and then biometrics between 4th and 6th ? Is it possible to do it without booking ? Also I called my school they said they allow late arrival for up till two weeks as long as I inform them duly. But I don’t know reading you guys messages I’m wondering if I’m already too late

Gurus in the house, help me confirm that my calculation is correct. I have POF of N20.6m in total for family of 3, going to a location outside london. I calculated school fees as £15600 minus tuition deposit of £3000. That is £12600 + £9207 for my maintenance fee then £12240 as maintenance fee for two dependents, giving a total of £34500, current Oanda rate is 543, so I calculated at the rate of 555 for inflation which brings it to N18.8m. Is my calculation correct ? And is it safe to deduct the money on top and leave 19m in the account on the day of visa application if the rate is still at 543 on that day ?

I’ve been following the thread that’s why I am asking. Based on previous info students have residency rights so we just have to book the govt hotel and quarantine for 11 nights. Seeing news that schools are refunding ppl and not issuing CAS is surprising, I am now wondering if other schools will do same as middlesex or if any one else has received that kind of mail. Hello Justwise and other gurus in the house, please I need your advice. I got admission for this January unconditional but I have not yet been issued CAS, my problem is the DOB on My WAEC is different from that on my passport, however I have a sworn affidavit to that effect and I have my birth certificate with my correct date of birth too, also the school accepts NECO and my NECO result doesn’t state my age on it although it is the same wrong date of birth that was used to register it so I assume if they check it with scratch card it will show 1990 rather than 1991. My question is should I go ahead with my WAEC and use the sworn affidavit and birth certificate to back it up ? Should I change the documents I uploaded to the school and submit my NECO instead since it doesn’t have date of birth on it? Bear in mind the school did question me about the discrepancy in dates on my WAEC and I explained using the aforementioned affidavit. I don’t know if they will ask for my WAEC in the CAS and I have heard of ppl being denied visa for this reason. What do you suggest I do ?

While you await the response of the gurus, Its not advisable you move forward with the program mentioned cos their qualification is lesser than your already achieved academic qualification.

Based on your English Degree and your 5 years work experience in JOURNALISM, you are good to go for a PG. CERT program related to media , journalism , communication, film production.
