PlayerMeji:Truth be told? Are you a woman? Please spare us your ugly opinion. I am a woman and I don't know a single woman who is a lesbian. I am not saying there are none. Just that they are rare and not the norm. |
pressplay411:In the same Mathew 23 you quoted, Jesus criticized the religious leaders of his days. As Christian’s are we not supposed to be Christ like? Why would we not say an act is wrong when it is being perpetuated by a religious leader? Why do people keep quoting touch not my anointed without any understanding? Who is God’s anointed? In this dispensation, All Christians are God’s anointed. God has poured out His spirit on us all. Freeze is God’s Anointed so far he has accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Please o, who are you to know who is full of Joy? Do you live in his heart? No Christian is perfect. Just like every Christian, Freeze is working towards perfection. When Jesus criticized the religious leaders of his days, they plotted against him. Perhaps, that is what is happening with Freeze. The religious leaders have plotted against Freeze and are trying so hard to make him suffer and to be an example to any other person who dares to have the courage to speak the truth. In this dispensation, tithe is not to be paid. The church however needs to meet its running costs, which is where offerings come in. But this megalomaniacs that call themselves pastors want to live super rich lives. They forget that they have been called to serve. Hence the insistence of tithes. They say without tithes we won’t be successful as the devoured will devour the proceeds from our Labour. I am a Christian. Before Freeze’s expose I long stopped paying tithes. It felt like I was paying to be blessed. That is not my take on Christianity. For me, Christianity is having a relationship with God as my father. Maybe that is why I enjoy God so much. Freeze is a hero for speaking out. Like all Christians, he faces his own share of trials. But it is only for a time and season. As for all of you criticizing his personal life and marriage, David was a murderer, but God called him a man after His heart. Abraham gave up his wife to another man to do with as he pleased. I won’t be surprised to find out that God calls Freeze His personal person while he shoos the pastors: religious leaders may not know Christ intimately. |
Hidentity:Are the people who make up the government from a different community? Are they not a product of this very society? Nigeria has a very poor value system. How do you expect the members of the government who share these same values to be different? Values like greed, anything goes as long as the money rolls in, mediocrity, showing off, stealing as long as there’s a great deal of wealth to show off, stomping on others, lying through both sides of their mouths... a society where virtue is ridiculed should not expect virtuous leaders. |
Hidentity:What has this got to do with Buhari? This is not new please. We have read of Nigerians plowing through rubbish to pick up contaminated food before now. That is one of the reasons customs burn contaminated goods. But not everything can burn easily. |
Inspectorsuga22:Your relationship is your business. Other women are not subject to you. In fact some may be totally superior to you. If you work in an office or are employed by a woman, those women are not your equal but your superior. Nigerians generally need to accept reality. Many countries now have female presidents. |
LordSaints:You do have females as part of your family I suppose. |
Inspectorsuga22:Rebellious connotes that you have some control over women in general. |
Mirriamvic:Really? So people don’t recover from ailments anymore? Very wise line of reasoning indeed. My father had a stroke that affected his speech. We could not understand what he said. He was paralyzed on his left side. He could not do the ordinary things that we all take for granted. However, he recovered. Not only could he talk, he went back to arguing issues with me with such vigor. It is absolutely foolish to think that a president who has the best doctors at his disposal would not receive the best treatment possible. Or to think that because he was severely sick, he won’t recover. In fact it is total wickedness. And that is the problem with Nigeria today. Instead addressing his lack of good governance in an appropriate way, they focus on frivolities. They are so ready to believe tales by moonlight. Illiterates and educated illiterates. |
What is wrong with coloring her hair? Does it make her less virtuous? She is free to put relaxer in her hair but not hair color? Hmmmm! |
How did something soooo stupid become so relevant? Nigerians and their foolishness. Instead of talking about how to make the government do their job, they are focused on giving relevance to a stupid rumor. Thumbs up |
tobillionaire:Freeze needs to keep talking. He is attacking men’s gullibility. Jesus criticized religious leaders in his days on earth. The religious leadears plotted against him too. |
AHCB:The following are excerpts from the Bible showing Jesus criticizing some religious leaders. “Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments. They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. “ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.” Matthew 23:1-2, 4-8, 13-15, 17, 27-28 NKJV http://bible.com/114/mat.23.1-2,4-8,13-15,17,27-28.nkjv |
Personally, I am totally embarrassed for Pastor Adeboye. Instead of him to call Freeze as a son and dialogue with him, he is castigating him and acting like he is an enemy of the church. If he talks with Freeze, he might learn something knew. What makes him think he has the monopoly on understanding God's word or hearing from God. Jesus in Mathew 23 criticized the religious leaders and they plotted against him. If Pastor Adeboye is a follower of Christ, then he should be open to criticism. We have too many religious people and not Christians who will tell Pastors what they want to hear. Sycophants that have a relationship with their pastors and not God. Pastors should welcome and dialogue with those who are individual and brave enough to voice their differing opinions. |
mican007:If you read the bible you'll understand that he is guaranteed heaven. That's why Jesus Christ came. |
obi2eze:So because Freeze does not have the same views as you he has become an antichrist. Jesus constantly criticized the religious leaders of his time. But don't take my word for it. Read Mathew 23. As for your name calling, read James 1:26. Let me help you post t here. “If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.” James 1:26 NKJV http://bible.com/114/jas.1.26.nkjv |
Jkyoung:There is absolutely nothing wrong with Freeze criticizing Church leaders. Jesus criticized the religious leaders of his time. You can look up Mathew 23 |
AHCB:Religion creates zombies not Christianity. There is a huge difference. Jesus constantly criticized the religious leaders for their hypocrisy. |
Cumtroller:Is kings college a primary school? Did he skip his primary school and attend a secondary school straight away? His primary was a boarding school and he was bullied. Someone tells his story, but you decide you know better. |
JFT24:Stop your unnecessary lecture. She has apologized to her husband. |
ogawisdom:Oh poor you! |
ogawisdom:Their marriage! Their life! Non of your business. Jobless people tend to make other people’s lives their business. Whether she is a beast or not, he loves her like that. |
Because it is too ridiculous. If pdp should use the nonsense as part of their campaign strategy, they will be scorned by enlightened people. |
ogawisdom:That is why she was wise enough to marry a wise, understanding, enlightened and humane man. |
Charmingrascal:Her marriage is not scattered. |
CityNGR:It is between her husband and her. Non of your business. If she does bad things every second of every day, it is still their business and not yours. Your life must be terribly sad that you’re so keen on making others unhappy. Someone has apologized to the person she offended, and here you are spewing nonsense. If you respond to this, I won’t read it. |
Wow!! They look so good together. Lovely couple. |
She should not have said it on tv. But a lot of men in Nigeria are peds. They abuse children if they feel they can get away with it. We’ve had to many cases of uncles, neighbors and family friends abusing children. There are very few Nigerian ladies that have not had some adult male try something with them. That’s why we refuse to bury our heads in the sand and pretend that it does not happen. We teach our girls that no one should touch them there. All these people getting overly emotional and sounding so hateful in response to the presenters comment should try going to the social welfare office to actually understand what is going on. |
Larryslim:Stop responding to the weed smoker. Simply report him until he is banned. |
IamD18:She has one boyfriend that the entire world knows about. I don’t think that qualifies for your tag of Oloshoism. |
mezarddinny:Is she married that you’d expect her to have a baby. You see a young lady with enough self respect to refuse to be a baby mama and you castigate her for it. Moreover, who made you a womb watcher? |
EVILFOREST:And you are an expert on all Nigerian ladies? This type of wedding is already happening here in Nigeria. There are couples who choose to go to their pastors on a weekday to be joined as husband and wife. So far they get their marriage certificate. There are others who simply go to the registry. Somebfamilies have so many issues that having a traditional wedding will simply become a full blown war. So both parties simply don’t do it. Please stop underestimating Nigerian women. There are lots who understand that it is better to have some money for the actual marriage than for the wedding. Then there are those like me that don’t like crowds. |
Reference:Life is more complex than what you wrote. No one is responsible for or subject to your thoughts. I have met people with high morals who sag and wear short skirts. Just as l have met those who cover up their body parts and have no integrity. When I was in school, some of the kindest people I knew smoked and drank. Backgrounds differ. I do acknowledge that you know your thoughts and limits which is a good thing. But privacy for a one year old? Please!!!!! |
