Do you know how much Lagos taxes companies in the state? Everything is taxed! A building used for business purposes in Lagos that is not fenced will pay parking taxes. Even though the cars are parked on your property that has a clear cut demarcation. The agents will count the number of cars that can fit in and then tax you. If you refuse to pay, they'll come to the building with X stickers pasted everywhere and terrorize your clients. If the company is owned by foreigners, then Lagos state can go as far as locking up the business office.

Actually, I believe Nigerians are simly saying that no one should be exempted in this fight against corruption. It should not be partisan, tribal, religious or a personal vendetta.

Why is Aisha Buhari being given an award? Is it to give more prestige to this pageant? What on earth are her accomplishments as the wife of the president? She can’t even handle differing opinions with her husband with the the necessary decorum. I am sure that Michelle Obama did not agree with her husband on all issues. That she felt insulted does not mean she was insulted. I read through what she wrote looking for anything resembling an insult, and I could not find anything. Her problem is that she is coming from an abusive relationship. She is in a place emotionally where she feels she let herself down by allowing herself to be in such a relationship. She's probably sworn to never be in such a situation. All that is highly commendable. The downside is that she has a huge chip on her shoulder. She will see insults where none was intended.

She may have the abilities, but she is not emotionally ready. How does she expect to be part of any team? Girlfriend really needs to sort herself out.

Forgiveness or healing after adultery is very very very very hard, whether it is on social media or not. Divorce rates have gone up because people have chosen to be unfaithful, not because anything is on social media.

Hard, but not impossible. If it is kept within the family, members can intervene and help them sort it out. This has happened countless of times. What is new is the amount of attention social media gives. The aggrieved party won’t forgive because he or she won’t want to loose face in front of the whole world. Just like gossip prolongs a fight, social media exacerbate issues.

How is this news? Is this not a family ish? This one of the reasons the rate of divorce has gone up. Everything is on social media for all to see. How will there be forgiveness or healing?

What moral rectitude has Bello got to shut anyone down? Does he pay salaries? When he chooses to, he pays 20% of the individual salaries. Imagine someone earning as little as 18k per month being given 20% percent of that. How are they to cope? Even pensioners are not left out.
