Mcy56: Yes. The book doesn't support for now but I just think it's a gradual process once they're done "planting". There's a new management in place which is more important aspect of turning the coy around for good. I want to believe it's a matter of time they'll get on right track........this is just my perspective. Nice one. |

Mcy56: Oga, how else could the stock have been punished than it was done since last year or so? A stock that fell all the way from the top to 51/54 kobo? Abeg pity investors nah. Transcorp has witnessed the worst, the good/best can only come from now on. My greatest concern with Transcorp is that the books don't seem to support any further upward movement. Or is Afam bringing anything major to the table? |

Toluway: You are bigger and far more experienced than what you've just done. You don't sell a carefully chosen stock like that. Stock appreciation does not have to happen within a week, or even a month. Sorry for my interjection, just succumbing to my emotional effervescence. Just to further interject you, the man u r referring to should understand the possibilities attached to holding Zenith to a great extent. First cut is the deepest but a second cut is disaster. Secondly, once one fully engages in online trading, hehehehe careful is the watch word else the feeling that one can sell, buy and sell again just hovers around one's mind. |

Infinitisi: If this upward trend in prices is maintained, those trapped in dead stocks should be on the lookout for opportunities to exit.
You don't have to wait till you break even. Before prices reach that point they may plummet again and you are back to ground zero. My brother God bless you. Someone just helped me escape regalins. I don't even care if the price becomes N1 tomorrow. |

rebekah2011: The quick the partnership with Wilmar returns good profit soon, the motivation for them to delist. The FMCG sector is really a low margin business and the weak consumer spending power has further affected them. Just saw this. Noted. |

onegentleguy: U can relate the parts in bold with ur post and mine from a few weeks ago. Might not be a bad idea to gradually start accumulating @ below the N5 closing price of yesterday. Inherent RISK is gradually been 'swallowed' by feasible REWARD.
NOTE: Due diligence still applies. OGG, Please what is the benefit of delisting to the company? Does it mean all profits now go to the owners or what. Thanks. |

rebekah2011: Access bank directors that sold their shares in the wake of the merger to Diamond must buy back those shares. For short-timers in Access Bank, I must congratulate them. What is not lost on me is that Access bank came in to rescue CBN from another intervention in the banking sector which really would have dent CBNs image as a regulator and probably call to question its role in ensuring that Banks under its supervisory watch are healthy. Access bank is going to get away with a lot of supervisory issues as it payback time for them too. I am not saying Access Bank is not healthy oooo but I need results of many quarters to assess the quality of its assets going forward. The diamond that was problematic all of a sudden turned to goldmine because Access Bank took over. Who is selling Zenith bank to buy any other stock on the exchange at this moment has a problem of cash to meet emergencies and not to invest in other stocks on the exchange.
If I have money, PZ is looking like a stock to begin to accumulate because I believe it is becoming a strong candidate for delisting the lower it goes. Pls torch light this PZ stock. I have a thing for PZ even tho I don't think it will delist if they can get this their Wilmar thing running effectively. |

Standardguy: Portfolio rebalancing. The huge seller of Zenith is the buyer of Access and one or two other banks/ coys so whether or not the 'boy is good' depends on how you look at it. They are not selling Zenith completely so watch out as the traffic in one may affect the other. Enjoy! How many monikers do u have? |
