I expect a rally in January before the market begins to look down. To all newbies looking to enter the market, it will be quite challenging to get good stocks at lower prices than last week's lows but it is possible.
So shine your eyes, set your traps and let's make some 40-50%. If stocks don't break previous week lows tomorrow or next, it's likely it will not break last week's lows this year.
I believe everyone is waiting to buy during the holiday season and together, they help move the market up. Early birds will further move the market up in January believing it is another bull rally, then we will quietly step out.
When this plays out in January by God's grace, we will discuss the next two months Feb and March. |

Valueinvestor: I wonder why some people behave as if Peter is their portfolio manager. You are solely responsible for whatever decision you make.I don't know why anyone would solely make investment decision based on tips gotten here. It is not out of place to make decisions based on info gotten here. Severally, I have profited from some good hearted fellows' posts here. I came the other day thanking Yayi. As a newbie a little panic can be seen in the wrong perspective. That's why his alarms are deemed as with ill intentions. I keep saying this," some Nigerians don't deserve a better government because their individual actions when put in a large scale may just be worse than the present situation Nigeria is." Knowing that we were all newbies at one point in time or the other, a little help or honest post is the least one expects from mature individuals. |

Sanofi, GSK Covid vaccine to be ready late 2021 Published
could start in the second quarter of next year.
“Positive results from this study would lead to regulatory submissions in the second half of 2021, hence delaying the vaccine’s potential availability from mid-2021 to Q4 2021,” the statement said. Watch GSK.. they will try to falsify a bull and finally leave it on the head of the gullible. |

You are probably right. Attached bellow are the results. I used the smaller morgan capital sample data running from march to yesterday.
To clarify a few things,
Note: the whole thin was automated with a python script, it took me 2 hours, sha, to debug certain aspects of the code that were malfunctioning. Great stuff but NSE is easier to play with arts not science. I have made more profits practising the art of playing NSE. Wait, buy, wait, sell, wait, wait again, leave the market, wait and buy again. |

megawealth01: WAPCO might hit another low soon... The party is over... I announced my 98% exit sometimes last week... The market is going a bit low but not the way Peter is screaming though... Don't sell off dividend paying stocks... Do your DD Dividend hunters will dump Wapco and DSR, just because dividend yield doesn't look attractive. But Wapco in confusion can do another 150% before dividend starts pouring in. |

Question: 1. When a company with negative retained earning is sold, what happens to the negative retained earning.
2. Is a company sold based on book value, market value or total asset value?
3. If a company is sold based on book value, will a negative equity mean the shareholders will need to pay the buying entity?

Chibuking81: The answer is yes, if you buy now, you are qualify for Zenith bank dividend, even next year before their qualification date. Remember q4 have not been concluded, it come to final on 31st December. And the quoted company have 90 days timeframe to release their result, that is up to March ending.
It will be more better if you will wait and observe the market and recession presence before entering into the market at this point in time. Where and how have u been? What is the outlook for 2021 from your spreadsheet? |

rebekah2011: Using the closing price of N2.34 on Friday. The current o/s of Axa mansard is 10,500,000,000. A bonus of 17 for 7 will create new shares of 25,500,000,000 making the total shares to be 36b. A reduction of shares of 4 for 1 will reduce it to 9b. The nominal value of the shares will now be N2 instead of the common 50kobo that is prevalent in the market. There are other stocks whose nominal value is not 50k, i.e MTN.
The market value of the stock at 10.5b will be = 10.5 x 2.34 = N24.57b, the market value of the stock at 36b will equally be N24.57b and when it is reduced to 9b it must also be N24.57b. At 36b, the market price will be 0.6825 and at 9b, it will be N2.73. Bros, more details please. N2.73 before reconstruction or after. Well whatever it is, your cash remains the same. Pre and post reconstruction. |
