you can use your payoneer to receive money directly into your card and simply withdraw from any nearby ATM however I don't use it, I use paypal for all my withdrawals and it doesn't mean if you have an account or not. you simply make use of paypal exchangers. The bitter truth is: Proofreading and editing is highly competitive on Fiverr and you can hardly make headway with only that gig as a Nigerian seller.

I stopped sending request on Upwork since none of my requests yielded invitation talk more of hiring. I have writing and editing profile there. Majority of the buyers will end up with "Native English speakers only". so how do you expect to make sales in such niche?

The truth is, aside the fact that most of us, Nigerians, use foreign account, we wouldn't be able to make anything out of Fiverr as much as we do.

unless you are into such technical niche like web design, graphics, programming and video making etc.

Check your description. If your description does not persuade you to feel like buying your own gig, No one will like to buy it either.

Offer a little above normal sellers example, if you are in the graphics niche you can off 4 logos for $5. If you are in the writing niche you can offer 1000 word article for $5. As you make more sales, you can edit to the normal rate.

If your acct is new, just buy one good review don't waste time. People don't like being the first to buy an unrated acct.

Some will say it's cos u're flying d Nigerian flag. But I think u can still succeed in the writing niche with that. some people come here to outsource. Try and get 1 or 2 from here and have them drop reviews for u.

secondly, u have to offer ridiculously low amounts to catch people's attention. I did that when I just started. Check how many words others are offering to proofread for $5 and beat their price.

Lastly, don't forget your keywords. Let your gig description be seo friendly. use our keywords right. check others and see what they use as tags and use the same.
