Family / Re: Rich Marrying Rich, Poor Marrying Poor: Way Forward? by Swish(m): 10:51pm On Jan 25, 2006
well, i think why may be due to financial security. if you've experienced "poverty" or anything close then you might not really blame such parents 'cos they think they're looking out for their children b doing so. well i'm like rich or anything like that but comfortable to a certain degree. My ex is from a not too well off home, her mom raised them on frying of akara and stuff, so she kinda promised she wasn't going to be in the same situation. By that she kinda pressured me out of the relationship, if you understand me

@ako, deficient in what department of his defensive play? He's good and for me he's a bit ahead of his time. Starts to remind of roberto carlos, he does.

Romance / Re: My Ex-Boyfriend Insulted Me After I Did 'Shakara' by Swish(m): 9:53pm On Jan 23, 2006
this is crazy don't u think. Now, u have it in your mind that u have to do shakara first not as a necessity but as a principle(even when it's not needed). You probably went too far or something 4 him to have done that. It's not right on his part though but you probably fuelled it as well, u know.

Yobo was good except for some few lapses. 65%
Odiah was exceptional. 80%
Taiwo was my man of the match.  86%
Men! Oruma is wonderful. He realy marshalled that midfield. 85% (-the taiwo goal he wud have been my man of the match)
Odemweinge was on top of his game. 82%
Yusuf had a good game.  78%
Obodo didn't particularly have a good game. 68%

Music Business / Re: Fl Studio N Virtual Dj Which Is Better by Swish(m): 10:35pm On Jan 19, 2006
well, i also have been using fruity for a while. i used Virual about twice. The thing is that Virtual Dj is really good for add Dj effects real time (scratches songs, mixing music and all that) basically it's ur pc turn table. u load a song and go crazy on it. I think both are better used together. They have there own individual specialties. U dig. I'm actually looking for Virtual Dj. You have any hints on how i can get it.

Yeh! @ damgurl
i understand when u say sometimes they have to prove they're not just 4 booty calls, yeh
i'm not against woman working per se but the kinda of work really should be something that has nothing to do with neglect of family. if a woman can't have time to cook for her home, take care of her kids, n all that because of work and maybe she has to employ a maid(who does 90% of these things) then i tell you she got to check it. why do you think there's an increase in single mothers (it has even become a normal thing in the Us and Europe where a lady just wants to have a kid and that's all - because she feels *she can do what a man can do*-don't press on the statement in asterix, it's an expression.

@Wes
really wish you can see my point.
