recently i just discovered that my husband still communicate with his ex girlfriend to the extend that the girl tells my husband any misunderstanding she has with her husband to be. they talk on phone almost everyday.
i called my husband and told him that it was not healthy to maintain a close relationship with one's ex esp with wat transpired between them but he said dat nothin can happen between them. and there is nothing wrong with being close to one's ex.
i am worried. i ve given my husband one month ultimatum to distance himself from his ex or i call the girl and tell her to distance her self from my husband.
please i need ur advice.

well its ok to want your husband distance himself from his ex. but you gotta tread with caution,cos UR husband hasn't given u reason not to trust him. so just chill OK.

you guys need to see a psychologist,its normal for him to behave that way after that traumatic incident. just convince him to go with u to d psychologist and be very patient with him.

After much persuasion, he started a venture, but we still live on my business. The only thing he use his money for is to buy recharge cards. He always complain of lack of money.

We had disagreement on Tuesday over this same issue. He therefore stopped eating my food. To my greatest surprise, my husband began to spend money to buy food for himself, the money I never knew he has.

What shocked me most is this. I am the one that used to pay our security due. They came knocking for the money yesterday money. I refused to answer. He said I should give them 1000 naira, I refused. To my greatest surprise, he went inside and brought out N1000(mint) that I never knew he had. This is a man that never contributed any kobo for feeding o. If I ask him, he will get angry and say I am mocking him for his lack of money.

Now my question is this, am I too forward? as in, Is it because I always go ahead to provide the family needs that got me into the present predicament?

am sorry to say this but that man is lazy,he is used to u taking care of the family and forgotten its his job too. maybe u should talk to any elder in your family,your in-laws or church elders to intervene. or u try talking to him.

He woos the lady 99% of the time, proposes to her 99% of the time, pays her dowry 99% of the time ( in African marriages). Brings her to live in his house 90% of the time.... the lady will keep the guy's last name but will still retain her last name. i think the unimportant issue here is spending too much time on reasons why a lady shouldn't retain her last name after marriage. if she wants to keep it, she should..
