Yes, everyone goes through depression and stuff, we are human, but for extroverts it’s more a phase of a situation that they are dealing with at the moment. I’m talking about literally lingered with it your whole life, but as you get older you get to understand why.

Note: extrovert ain’t super humans , they just make a conscious efforts , they can choose to lay in their beds in self pity but they hv decided not to. there r challenges everyday and we have no choice but to defeat them n move on with our happy lives.

I don’t agree that all introverts are this way , depressed, anxious and hv low self esteem, I hv met a few , some introverts r even better fighting life challenges better than I do , some even get me over a sad mood cause I am an over thinker. Most are just overly very shy n don’t speak up much .

Lastly babe no matter what u hv gone through isn’t worth holding on to forever , and darling u are too beautiful to even have self esteem issue and u seem intelligent also. Depression is a very serious situation try ur possible best to over come it and get some fresh breeze of freedom . Being an Introvert doesn’t necessarily mean that we don’t engage or that we diffident ourselves from social interaction. You are just laying a judgement saying that we have not taken a personal responsibility about it, Trust me when I say that we have done all that. The traits of being an introvert doesn’t go away, it comes with a lot of baggage, For example Depression, Anxiety, low self esteem. When one goes through that it’s really hard, because some of us might have been going through that at a young age and couldn’t figure it out.

Also most introverts are not shy to engage in social interaction and we do have some elements of extroversion in our personalities. It just that we know how to handle our feelings and when it’s get too draining we back off to recharge.

do u guy’s honestly think extroverts don’t go through depression, anxiety or low self esteem at times? If many of you hear stories of many extrovert u guys will be baffled, infact many introverts haven’t experienced half of it , The problem is making It part of ur being.

I’m a bit jealous that some of you introverts are able to get into relationships .

I’m chronically introverted or you can just call me a recluse. Back where I grew up, my neighbors didn’t know I ever existed because they only saw my siblings and thought they were all my parents had lol. Got into the university and found it difficult going for classes or even leaving my room that one time I stayed indoors for 2 months straight and had my sister get me all I wanted. Years later, nothing has changed just that I have to be in school every day but after that I crawl back into my room.

Never been in a relationship because I’m not sure if I can cope in one and there’s nowhere a guy can find me to even ask me out . I’ve met a few though but I’m just not interested because I feel being in a relationship would be an invasion of my sweet quiet and private life.

Looking forward to making new friends here .

Bros the mistake most of u "extroverts" make is thinking there's something/everything wrong with being an introvert. Being judged for who you are is what turns most introverts off. I remember when I a kid, I was most times quite, but my younger bro was the outspoken type. So, people like relating with him cos he's "outspoken". What I do then was to totally cut off from such people. I grew up not relating with most of my father's people. People made me felt like there's something wrong with me being quite, but when came to accept who I am then I found my peace and don't bother to impress anyone.

reading this thread is very obvious people see introverts as unassociable human beings, that’s not true , u spoke base on ur understanding not based on reality , introverts r simply reserved people. Is not like they don’t know that going out is fun , just that they don’t feel moved to make that a daily routine. is there any sane human being that will say chilling with friends is not fun , like come on , that’s like self denial. That’s why I said I feel highly irritated by people who try to create a gap between the two personalities, many extrovert like introvert people. Is just that there r many introverts who feel I am introvert so I am better and smarter. Oh my personality is better cause I am an introvert, in other to feel they don’t need to mingle with people , like comon it’s okay to be who u are n love the other side. Reason a lot of them r depressed at the long run. Oh nobody likes me but when u were acting strange to everyother person around u , u 4got?

To the extent people think introvertion is a mental disorder . I talk more online than person a million times , don’t mean I am awkward, that’s my personality. Many think introvertion is a trophy, I hate it seriously... like I grew up around extroverts there is nothing awesome about being indoors most of ur life . Nothing . It’s just how we r! We r used to it. Who made u the judge of who is extrovert or not because u feel introverts r special some worth . Lol
