The first image is what Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh tweeted a few minutes ago before he deleted it for a more defined one (2nd image). A fast follower and blogger caught it to blog about it, then noticed he deleted it. He deleted the “who irrespective of all lies believed!” part! Congrats to Oliseh and Super Eagles for the victory yesterday. They beat Cameroon 3-0. http://www.edondo.com/2015/10/see-what-sunday-oliseh-just-tweeted-then-deleted-and-posted-a-new-one

Senate president Bukola Saraki has been all over the Nigerian media since he was accused of falsely declaring his assets. At almost midnight yesterday he tweeted.." I remain a card carrying member of my dear party. But I am also honoured to serve as Senate president of all senators." This came, after twitter users noticed that he had removed 'member of the APC' from his twitter bio. A nairalander had shown us evidence that Saraki removed 'member of APC' because a twitter follower advised him that he was 'senate president' to all Nigerians and not to the APC. Some Nigerians have viewed this 'Bukola's court case' to be a witch-hunt being carried out by the APC. We remember that a huge part of the APC never wanted Saraki to emerge as the Senate president. Please what is our opinion on this?

Ms Kedike! She does have that "churchy-girl" personality right? Anyways, singer Chidinma popularly known as Ms Kedike revealed in a recent interview that she won’t condemn anyone that moved from gospel music to do secular music. When asked what her opinion is about artistes who started from the church and are now doing secular music, she said: “I won’t condemn anyone that moved from gospel into secular. You don’t know the kind of relationship the person has with God. Before I started, I spoke to my pastor. We had a chat and I told him I am not doing gospel. My song is for everyone, not just the church folks. Everyone knew what I was doing from the start. My pastor said if that is what I want; it’s fine as long as ‘you and God are on the same page’'. Folks, please what is your say on this? http://www.edondo.com/2015/09/why-i-told-my-pastor-i-wouldnt-do-gospel-music-chidinma |
Simply put: The essence of declaring assets now is to also declare when you are leaving office. Yes! we have to know your assets when you are leaving office, that is why we demanded to know your assets on your entering office. Buhari didn't run for the office of the president to become a rich man. Though some of us insists he ran to amass wealth for his children and position them politically in the country. Let's not derail by stressing the "children" and "their politics" here. Another day. This piece goes out to the soon-to-become ministers and all APC members holding public offices. You are all expected to DECLARE YOUR ASSETS!! But know that YOU are also expected to DECLARE YOUR ASSETS UPON LEAVING OFFICE. http://www.edondo.com/2015/09/also-declare-your-assets-upon-leaving-office |

Here are my references, and here is my penis... We all remember this old adage about persistence, right? "If at first you don't succeed, keep sending pictures of your dick." Well, according to The Chicago Tribune, one 23-year-old Illinois man has lost out on a new job after accidentally sending two nude selfies to the human resources manager at a company where he'd been offered a position. The HR rep informed police of the incident earlier this month. Authorities say the man had received a job offer with this company. Then, between Aug. 11 and Aug. 13, he texted two naked selfies to the female HR manager. Because, as we all know, when someone is unresponsive to your unsolicited dick pic the default move is to just follow-up with another? Of course, when the job applicant called to ask about his new position, the caller ID revealed that he was the man behind the naked penis, sooooo... surprise! He didn't get the gig after all. The sexter has told authorities the selfies were sent to the wrong person. Which means there's some poor, lonely soul out there still waiting on those romantic images. Perhaps the most shocking thing about all this is, as reported by The Chicago Tribune, the cops are seeing this regularly: "We're seeing it much more often now with our young people sending inappropriate photos of themselves. They're sharing it with someone else and the next thing you know it takes on a life of its own." The thing not taking on a life of its own: this man's upward career trajectory. http://www.edondo.com/2015/09/man-accidentally-sends-naked-selfies-to-hr-manager-after-receiving-job-offer

A horrible incident occurred at about 4:30 pm today. A trailer skidded off the Ojuelegba flyover and landed container on top of a black SUV, killing three men according to NTA. It also incompletely crushed a white nissan car whose driver was lucky enough to make it alive. As at the time of writing, there is heavy traffic at the area. Eyewitnesses expressed their disappointment over the delay by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, to respond quickly to the incident. The Agency have responded (though late). They further stressed on the need to provide immediate response to such emergencies. Other Nigerians, particularly those familiar with the area have lamented that the trailers and tankers be banned from driving during the day? "They carelessly drive around without their locks being hooked, putting lives in danger." Linda Ikeji said. www.edondo.com/2015/09/3-killed-in-ojuelegba-as-trailer-landed-on-suv

•Sexual harassment: Some bosses are sexually aggressive. They can touch your woman inappropriately. They can even go the extent of slipping drugs into your woman's drink and rape her. Especially when her boss is far richer than you (the man) •Marrying these women is asking for trouble (career women): If they quit their jobs and stay home with the kids, she will be unhappy. She will be unhappy if she makes more money than you do. You will be unhappy if she makes more money than you do. You will be more likely to fall ill. Even your house will be dirtier. •Marriage and family work best when one person is taking care of them full time: Let's face it - Everything in the world is best off when it is cared for very carefully. Which woman can effectively manage being a housewife and being a career woman. (She isn't a superwoman) www.edondo.com/2015/09/why-most-men-do-not-want-their-wives-to-work |

The Pretenders singer Chrissie Hynde is getting slammed for remarks she made about rape in an interview with the Sunday Times. The 63-year-old opened up to the publication about her own sexual assault when she was 21, but suggested that women are to blame for getting raped. "You know if you don't want to entice a rapist, don't wear high heels so you can't run from him," she told the Times. She also said she takes "full responsibility" for what happened to her four decades ago. "If I'm walking around in my underwear and I'm drunk. Who else's fault can it be?" she asked. "Technically speaking, however you want to look at it, this was all my doing and I take full responsibility," she said, also adding that she was high on drugs at the time. Hynde recalled how she was forced to perform sexual acts on members of an Ohio motorcycle gang who had promised to take her to a party but instead brought her to an abandoned house. "If I'm walking around and I'm very modestly dressed and I'm keeping to myself and someone attacks me, then I'd say that's his fault. But if I'm being very lairy and putting it about and being provocative, then you are enticing someone who's already unhinged--don't do that," she explained. "Come on! That's just common sense." "I don't think I am saying anything controversial, am I?" she reflected. Not everyone agreed with Hynde. Charity group Victim Support slammed the performer for her comments, saying that victims should never "blame themselves" for an attack. "Victims of sexual violence should never feel or be made to feel that they were responsible for the appalling crime they suffered--regardless of circumstances or factors which may have made them particularly vulnerable," said Lucy Hastings, director of Victim Support, per the BBC. "They should not blame themselves or be blamed for failing to prevent an attack--often they will have been targeted by predatory offenders who are responsible for their actions." People on Twitter were just as appalled. "Thing about rapists is that they're rapist," wrote Jill Bretherton. "They don't care what victims wear. Their impulse is to rape. They're rapists." Another tweeted, "Dear Chrissie Hynde. NOTHING ever justifies the rape or sexual assault of a woman. It's the abusers fault only. Love. A Man." http://www.edondo.com/2015/08/singer-chrissie-hynde-slammed-for-suggesting-women-are-to-blame-for-rape |
