PoliticsHon.Solomon Adaelu Of Osisioma/Obingwa/Ugwunagbo Constituency in abia Dumps PDP. by Sylverly(op): 7:28am On Nov 06, 2017
As the cold war amongst the PDP members in abia state heightens. The Hon. Representing the good people of Obingwa, Ugwunabo and Osisioma constituency in Abia state has confirmed that he is dumping the party, following the reasons he shared on his facebook wall. Such outburst has attracted several comments, with many pledging their unwavering support to the Hon. Member not minding the party he wishes to join. while few suggested he should not join APC.
Sloddy Adaelu
Why I resigned my membership of the PDP… Hon. Solomon Adaelu
It has come to my notice that some elements from the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) especially from Government house Umuahia true to their character are going about feeding the public lies and publishing falsehood as to the reasons why I resigned my membership of the party.
That is the reason why I have come to put to clarity and set the records straights to Abians so as to curb further deception and lies by those whose mission in governance is to see that Abia and Abians do not enjoy the dividends of democracy and their rights to good life is denied them while a few individuals sits atop our collective wealth meant for the development of the state and its citizenry.
Abians are aware of the fiasco of monumental magnitude and nightmare the PDP government we all campaigned and brought to office has turned to, causing Abians to live below poverty lines while a few live like kings off our collective wealth, all the promises we made to Abians during the election have all been broken, teachers are not being paid, civil servants now beg to feed themselves and their families, our roads have been rendered impassable while those who we made the care takers of our collective wealth and destiny are busy building mansions and riding on luxury SUV’s, our markets have been left to rot and decay while the government slam the traders with multiplicity of taxes without caring for their welfare, security has now become a luxury in Abia state for only the rich to enjoy, Abia has been turned to a state where payment of salaries to civil servants has become a privilege rather than a right, pensioners are now left to die unattended to and uncared for, while the state government diverts the money meant for salaries and pensions to private use.
Every conscientious effort meant to correct and redirect the impunity, bad governance, wickedness and lack of direction that has characterized the PDP led Abia state government has been met with stiff opposition by those who sees the government as their personal property and feeds fat on the suffering of the poor Abians.
No man of good conscience will sit back and watch his people go hungry and not react in the name of party loyalty, I cannot sit aloof and watch as kleptomaniacs who found themselves in government steal our collective destinies all because we belong to the same political party, I will rather be seen to be conspicuously uninvolved with those whose major business in governance is purely self-aggrandizement at the expense of the suffering masses, having to state categorically that my business in politics is development and my political ideology is running in different directions with what is being practiced in the party today in Abia.
Today, I Engineer Solomon Adaelu ceases to be a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the following reasons as stated above and any further political moves will be made known to my friends, followers, fans and loyalists after due consideration and consultation with my constituents.

Your topic is totally confusing, there's a difference between "drive" and "ride". In this case, you're the one "driving" and the lady is "riding" with you. However... This is hilarious, the headrest almost got her "OMG!" face ;-)

There is nothing wrong with the grammar. However, it should occur to you that the mod. must have modified the topic.

Are you saying the accident happened because the driver was a lady?

Or the accident and it's severity (as can be seen) was caused because the lady didn't use the seat belt and no other reason?

Chauvinism at its most ridiculous.

BusinessAbia State Government To Disburst Credit Facilities/loan To GEEP Beneficiaries by Sylverly(op): 10:07am On Oct 20, 2017
ONE OF GOVERNOR OKEZIE IKPEAZU'S APPROACH TO MAKING ABIA AN INDUSTRIAL BASE OF THE NATION

In tandem with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu (PhD) mantra on masses empowerment and creation of enabling business environment for all to succeed, the Abia state government has launched the Government Enterprise Empowerment Program (GEEP), which remains a veritable socio-economic blueprint supportive of the business activities of the micro and medium scale enterprises among others.

Hence, in a meeting slated to hold tomorrow at the International Conference Center (ICC) Umuahia, there will be the issuance of certificates and the disbursement of credit facilities/loans to the numerous registered beneficiaries while such loans remains interest free.

Essentially, such line towed by the state government will indeed, have short, intermediate and long term benefits. For instance, the micro and medium scale enterprises will be availed the needed enablement, support and leverage to crave for expansion, thus further enhancing the already burgeoning economic progress and dexterity of the state. Yet, much more entrepreneurs who ordinarily could not commence any business of note due to lack of finance may have struck gold from this blueprint.

In the same paraphernalia, there will be an official opening of Abia State Investment Building. This, for the avoidance of doubt, remains a one-stop-shop for all kinds of investment. In other words, just like Lagos and Abuja have the headquarters of all business consortium operational in their milieu with its attendant monetary and other related benefits, so also has Abia State government through the eagle eye of the Governor Okezie Ikpeazu phD decided to replicate such in the state. Hence, organizations like Cooperate Affairs Commission CAC, Standard Organization Of Nigeria SON, Nigeria Import Export Bank, NAFDAC and consortiums of similar purpose will now be operating in the state.

Worthy to note is that the exercise remains a social intervention program of the federal Government through the Bank of Industry BOI, which Abia remains one of the foremost Southeastern States to queue into it.

Therefore, potential beneficiaries shall apply through cooperative societies or registered market, youth or women associations to become eligible.

Above all, the government of Abia State advises all Abia citizens to key into this rare moment so as to maximize available opportunities it so present.

Ok so this is my story. When I was in the seminary school, I left school for home cos of an ailment. My two classmates gave me 7k each to get them an internet accessible Nokia phone. So I went direct to Nokia house in st Michaels without getting to home. I got to a shop and told them I wanted a Nokia 'smartphone',the guy gave me a phone which I agreed to purchase, but when I went outside, another guy approached me and told me the phone was fake. So I decided to drop that one and followed him like a lamb led to be slaughtered. This seem to be honest guy gave me two Nokia c5 phones at the rate of 7k each. Omo I mad cos I couldn't believe it could be sold DAT cheap. He gave me the phones with the receipt and led me to where I could get a bus going to ariaria(my home). I thought to myself that he was such a nice guy. I took the phones sheepishly and headed home. Little did I know they wia mere China phones that could be sold at 3k each. You know the rest of the story embarassed cry
That is the most common trick they use.. Or they could tell you that Nokia house has been relocated, and if you are naive, you will just follow them... . You know what the outcome will be

Op, you tried but let's help you more as nwa aba, bread and buttered in aba. . cool
1.) Aba is a nice place to be with commodities at their affordable rate. In fact anybody that is hardworking must eat three quare meal in aba.

2.) You need to be careful if you are a visitor, who journeyed down to aba to get phone or another gatchet)/ electronics , clothings, or any other item.

3.)For gatchets and electronics, the two most popular placeS every Dick and Harry go to are St Michaels(Gadgets) and Shopping Centre (for electronics) . And believe me, these two places house most of the jobless youths in aba who hustle to make a living. The interesting part of it is, about 60-80 percent of people that claim to be sellers in these places do not have a shop, so they jump at every opportunity to siphon your pocket.
Which I have experienced, but as nwa aba I be, I was able to battle it out with them until they gave up.. And told me to carry my wahala and go.
You might find it funny, but believe me, these same boys have sold a DVD set to an akwaibom man without a remote control, all in the name of it works by voice control. .only for the man to come back and the told him that the voice control was damaged on his way back to his state. Finally, they had to charge him close to the amount he bought the DVD set for the remote.

These same people can sell Sharp television for Samsung....Definitely, it will have a Samsung casing but inside is a sharp Television (this was particularly experienced by our tenant)

However, aba is fun to be.. .if only our government will at least concentrate on the roads and electricity. These are just the two things the inhabitants of aba needs.. And you will see a true Japan of Nigeria emerge.

PROUDLY ABA MADE. ..
EVEN lala...can attest to these grin

Due to the rumored ongoing vaccination in Rivers state, parents have resulted to taking their children home from the various schools in Rivers mostly at obiakpo local government. Initially, the teachers tried convincing them that there was no such thing as vaccination by the Military. However, this led to the verbal abuse of the teachers and forceful penetration of the school premises by the Nervous looking Parents, to get their wards out of the school.
