Keep wasting money on stupid dams. Their are milions of plants and oil platforms in the niger delta flaring enough gas to power cities in nigeria. They've invited the government to fund pipeline projects to transfer this gas to power stations that will ultimately boost the national power grid, but they're just tone deaf and shortsighted...today bonny island in rivers state is the only place in this country that enjoys uninterrupted power supply because of gas of the largest LNG plant in africa located there. Yet they still flare gas because they already have enough power. Non commonsensical government.

Meanwhile dubai which is not the size of two nigerian cities is generating 30,000. Ans still clamouring for more. I can't say i'm impressed with this, we still have a long way to go.

When they arrive an realise how much tax they'll pay, in addition to their workers coming to work late due to traffic and that they have to provide their own electricity,water and everyother thing, no one will tell them to relocate.

No matter all the silly quarels here on nairaland, i must say nigeria has no greater friend in africa than ghana. It is evident with our president's friendship, celebrity hook up's,etc. Let's not let greed and jealosy destroy the partnership that will dominate africa!!

don't be silly!i can assure you that some years back. Us and nigerian trade was over 50% but as u noted, it's now 30. This is how it will futher decline due to the stupidity of washington. While they are busy pursing human rights and corruption, china is locking up africa. The new AU headquaters was built by china as a gift for africa. That kenya he is avoiding is now the home of CCTV. China's state news agency in africa. They have totally locked up that economy. The tanzania he is visiting is already in china's pocket. Xi xingiping just visited there months ago.

South africa is not hiding it's anti american sentiments. Voting against u.s interest in the u.m on syria and iran. Openely allying themselves with the BRICS.
