chiwuike20: If u fail to tell ur affected jambite to buckle up next in order to pass, u'll end up making dem permanent olodos. Its high time adults take up responsibilities and stop whining. D only time an educational body made progress in curbing exam malpractice, we criticize it negatively instead of giving kudos. Sickly peoplebasically you're telling me that only when mass failure is dished out is jambites, then the have succesfully cubed malpractise, for the obvious reason of indefensibility, you have ignored the massive irregularities by jamb that i outlined in my post. Some people can be really amazing!! |
Dygeasy: you could have made first page and gotten the likes you want buh you had to consult your dictionary.. Sorry bro!your utterly shambolic comment is a prolific attestation to your monumental and legendry ignorance...your punitive brain actually clogomorates my most luminating and insightfull comment to a petty "likes" acquisition scheme? One is not amused!! |
One is amused by the ominipotent ignorance and mental infinitesimality of most nairalanders, for the luminated mind these postulations by the rt. honorable gentleman are most gratifying and exastubate the salient reasons behind this catastrophic political alarcrity!!! |
acidtalk: What in Heaven's name is This Country Nigeria turning into?you dey wait for horn to grow for your head before you know say you be goat or for beards to grow for your teeth before you know that you're too old to be making such myopic comments. |
I know of one very dull rascal of a girl who wrote this jamb, she wrote english, literature, government and crk. The malpractise she arranged for came to her phone late so she could only finish english and government. Literature and crk were blank but now on checking her result miraculously this ghastly girl scored 230, jamb gloriously gave her marks for her blank government and literature and while this thief is dancing alanta most honest people are crying because of jambs idiocy and some people are attacking the reps for summorning jamb!! |
iwanchop: While I leave JAMB to defend its inadequacies over the conduct of the exam,I say with all sense of responsibility that most of the students that failed did do because they didn't prepare well for the exam.I prepared students for UME and PCE for 7 years and I saw a lot;most students come to class, copy notes, dump the note after class and come the second day to copy note and never read.Passing exams goes beyond going for lectures, reading is also very important and that is what most students dont do.Most of them go to exam halls expecting miracles to happen.it is a known fact that most students don't read but some do, and they must never suffer for the idiocy of others, that is why it is important jamb is probed and if it is'nt able to regulate it's exams and separate the cheaters from the honest, then it should be scraped. The bloatedness and inefficiency of jamb is what is encouraging students laziness, because to them it's a joke..but talk to them, when it comes to post ume, it's another ball game, even the most social network addicted student must read because it's not a big and unregulated like jamb. Let's just face it, jamb has failed, schools should be given the power to organise their exams and admit students. I know as an educator this pains you so i urge you to see reasons with me. |
Jamb needs to be over and done with. It's just like it's fellow federal disfunctional institution. "the nigerian police"..the nigerian police is so centralized and big that it can't handle itself and can't accurately provide details on all it's officers in the federation. I'm not even sure they know how man officers they have.so with jamb! State police are smaller, linner and more efficent!! So with university runed aptitude test. |
hardbody: This thought process is why you will never pass. You go into an exam honestly believing you will fail. I pity all of you jam bites. Infact I travelled during the weekend of Jamb exams and considering there was an exam centre at my place, I saw this massive influx of young boys and girls all milling around, and guess where? At all the pubs in town. Upon enquiry, I was told they had come to write JAMB and to my utter consternation, they were competing with us to finish the cold beers that they were in pubs and joints. I felt sorry for the future of this country. Today, your dummies that you voted in to go and rep you are asking why there was massive failure. Una never halait says alot about your thinking when you judge a generation and over a million jamb candidiates with a few beer consuming delinquints in your area. |
Some of the comments here are highly disappionting and at best utterly idiotic!! Jamb just dished out mass failure to a majority of nigerian students under the cloak of exam malpractise and some overgrown buffons who wrote jamb in the 20th century are blaming social networking..i know of many students who refused to use malpractise and where because of that moved to specific classes in their center where they were monitored to the teeth. Today their results are being withheld or slashed by jamb for malpractise while their fellows who dished out cash to their invigilators are smiling all the way to uni, while they have to remain another year at home. what do you think they'll do next year when money is being requested from them? Do you think they'll repeat their noble act of last year. This years jamb just prooved how shambolic and bloated jamb is, they can't manage their exams and that is why it must go. Universities should conduct their exams and admit who they want to with oversight from the education ministry. I have seen exam aptitute test in the rivers state university of science and technology where you write with computers and immediately you're done, your score appears on the screen and you know your admission status, no bueruecracy, no complaint. Just simple and straight to the point. That is how things are done. Not an overgrown institution without focus!! |
acidtalk: What in Heaven's name is This Country Nigeria turning into?hey stop saying rubbish! Do you even think? If you or any member of your farmily was affected by this you won't be vomiting this rubbish! I know of a friend who has written jamb twice with his own knowledge without malpractise. Last year he scored 240 and this year it's 180 when he belives he even did better than last year. Over 15,000 students results are being witheld due to no biometric identification when jamb did'nt send the computer to some centers, some had low batteries, some were'nt even connecting with the server, you'll also blame the dull students for that? Some Students who wrote art subjects english, government, literature and crk and checking their results and seeing, english, chemisty, physics, maths result and vice versal, you'll also blame the "olodo student's" for this. Tjamb this year just conducted a shambolic excuse of my exan after ripping of student of over 6,000 for registration and condeming scores to wasting a year at home..this is a problem. It's disgusting and wrong, if they can't handle big exams and be able single out the corrupt students from the innocent rather than declaring mass failure, they should bugger off and allow universities conduct their individual entry exams. Where there will be less beurucracy and population to carter to. Your comment was most shamefull, you and the other 20 hillbillies that liked your post are greatly myopic!! |
ochukoccna: Hope he doesn't go back to sleep like your hibernated laptopand when the federal government says it wants to spend billions of dollars buying and operating a drone, you'll call them thieves, corrupt looters!! Nigerians and your wahala. |
Some folks here personify the word "myopic" you hear of a military aircraft crashing and the first thing that come to your mind is "the planes are old,relics,moloue"..what if it was a mistake by the pilot? Or a bird strike? Or wind gust, some nigeria just take pleasure in bashing their government during tragedies. |
Rubbish!
|
Ministry has lost it's permanent site!! |
On the flip side, in as much as i like ameachi and deplore what jonathan is doing to him, i can't help but think, this is karma, i can remember when ameachi suspended the mayor of port harcourt and a few other LGA chairmen for coming late to a meeting with him, forgeting they're elected executives like him. In times like this, one has to rethink and regret previous action!! |
This is why babamgana tukur is calling jonathan a power blinded fool behind closed doors, he is busy flexing muscles thereby serving the number two state in the country where he got the most votes in 2011 over to the opposition...it is almost comical, tinubu and his buddies can't belive their luck!! |
Has'nt nolloywood heard of bald caps? |
No highland rivers person must be the next governour of rivers state, it's time the real riverine people govern their state.. |
Diasporan: Bros easy.who made Justice Mary Odili the second most powerful judge in the supreme court? Before she was nominated mind you there were some other senior judges in the Supreme Court before her.The set appointed in 2005,2006,2008 before her appointment in 2011.Please kindly edit your comment in order not to mislead other readersdo you think length of service in the nigerian supreme court determine your senority? Who has power on the bench is determined by the sitting chief justice and murktar has pratically made justice mary odili deputy chief justice, she is the authomatic representative of the CJN in occasion when she's absent, she was schedules court dealing..so take not of how the nigerian court works and don't assume. |
LastApostle: Guy, politics is not bread and butter.ameachi had to beg jonathan to be reaccepted into the party? But jonathan was'nt president when he accended the govonourship and on becpming "acting president" ameachi's rivers state was the first place he visited. So where do you get that assumption from? Ameachi lost the PDP ticket in 2007 because odili and obasanjo worked against him as they taught him stubborn but he overode them and became gov. And made that same odili to publically reconsile with him, that was the greatest humiliation and once again jonathan should learn to pick his battles before his house of cards comes crashing down. |
obakovich: The president is doing this to sylva so when he starts with Ameachi people will say he did it to his bro(sylva) but compared to what awaits ameachi dis wan na cartoonyou think chibuike ameachi is an amatuer like this man? Odili is a monumental thief and is enjoying immunity from persecution but ameachi twisted his arm to the point of making peace with him..how did he do it? I hope jonathan is smart enough to know who he clamps on.
|
otokx: but all these looters should beg odili to show them the way to get perpetual injunction from the law.easy, have the second most powerfull judge on the supreme court bench as your wife...mary odili has essentially given him immunity from persecution and while others scramble, he's comfortably enjoying his loot!! |
On this issue, every state government should go and learn from the man jonathan is hunting, chibuike ameachi. This is not possible in rivers state where there are multiple health care centers in each community, where special attention is given to pregnant women and new borns. Primary healthcare for all should never be a privelage, it's a right, your right!!- gov.ameachi |
I see the house of representatives are aggresively pursuing "threats" made by one nigerian and ordering investigations, commitee hearing,etc...but hundreds of nigerians die regularly due to boko haram, and they hardly debate it, the best they can do is remove their hats and caps revealing their bald heads and hold a minute of silence.."may the soul of the departed, rest in peace, amen"..back to buisness...... |
The nigeria economy is growing and many people are benefiting from it, there is a growing billionaire class and rising middle class but there is still a lot of poor people, that is where government comes in, they have to use the increased revenue in the country to invest in education, jobs, medicare, food stamps and other safety net programs that will reduce poverty to it's bearest minimum..i hope corruption does'nt hinder this. |
Pipsland78: Poverty rate moved from 64.2 to 62.6 and we are celebrating? Choi!nigeria is growing at a rate of 7.3%, while the u.k is growing at 0.3% and they're celebrating! Choi! |
Aimless, inconsequential, ignorant, moraless, visionless, anarchronistic noise maker of a ghastly overhyped musician!! We're not amused!!!:@:@
|
Courtesy demands that ex-president's should'nt deride or second guess their succesors as only they know the pressures of that office, i see no reason why a former first lady will be saying this. It's just wrong. She had better retreat from public life like her predesessors and stop second guessing history and fighting for land. |
I don't think the PDP bosses will loose any sleep over an inconsequential confused governour decamping infact they'll beam with glee when he starts rubbing off his lunacy on ACN...when they'll loose sleep is if ameachi decamps, then there's trouble. |
the level of hatred for jonathan i see from yoruba's will make them vote for a goat as president, so far as his/her name is not jonathan.
|
greatgod2012: We already have the number of children we want...........................T......H......R......E....E....thank God you're putting the economic situation of the nation into account unlike many nigerians who are'nt financially capable but breed multitudes and say what's their buisness, God way give me them, go train them( i hate this phrase)...if many nigerian thinks like you a country the size of the state of califonia won't be approaching 200 million people. |
With all of our problems, insecurity, corruption, decayed infastructure.etc we're still growing at a rate of 7.3%...imagine the barriers nigeria will break if all the above mention things were better!! GOD BLESS MY COUNTRY!!! |
