I visited Kano and Sokoto and I discovered that most places don't use the prepaid but still get light as good as 7 hours and 4 hours per day, respectively.

Mind you, a buidling with about four families on rentage pay 2k, 3k or 4k monthly to an agent who may not even deliver it to the power company.

I want to ask, what is the secret behind the concession the north enjoy as compared to other regions, given that power holding company is not yet state owned?

You don't know even know that disco have seen be privitalize by Jonathan. Nobody in Lagos complain of no frequent light on band A but only the cost. You can't be in one village in abia state and be dishing lies. Band A do have minimum of atleast 18 hours per day. I use band A too. Be bold to tell us your current location.

Till today I still feel like one of the reasons why the US banned Huawei wasn't solely because of data theft or spying. I think they were scared of their ideas and innovation. Google is constantly extracting data, spying and using the data collected to improve on their existing products as well as launching new products. Apple is doing the same. Samsung is the only device that seems to in a way give users control over their privacy, although, it still uses customers data.

Huawei phones are solid! Having used Samsung devices for years, I've experienced Huawei and I love it.

In fact, the Huawei mate XT is better than all the Samsung Fold series, all!

You can ask for more transparency but I doubt you'll get any. Just pay up, it's a rot you can't really fight. They lock up my estate whenever they're enforcing the security bills against those who haven't paid and I do wonder if they have the legal right to do that. Though some Nigerians can be difficult to relate with when it comes to paying for certain services and only tough measures tend to force them to do the right thing. But I always wonder if it's legal or not to keep them locked in like criminals. 😂

Thank you very much for this. I just wonder why our generation always think that making trouble is the only way out of certain circumstances. In this life, many times, life happens, you encounter unexpected issues of this nature, you just thank God for your life, count your losses and move on.

Mr advocate,he has collected a balance refund and that means he has agreed to vacate,automatically his rent expires up to the time of the refund he collected.maybe he has about 6 months notice free and another 3months which will be paid for,if you like go court,for any other days or months you stay in the house after then you must pay untill the court come and evacuate you since you refuse to vacate.
Don’t let anyone mislead you,don’t waste your resources ,last last you will leave the house and no law will allow you to occupy another persons property until anytime you like.if you have the means,just vacate honorably,you can still negotiate some time more with the new owner if your grace period expires but anyone telling you to go to court is a mugu.

The notice of eviction should be at least six months so he can't deplace you before that time except on some serious and deadly charges which isn't the case here Just get a lawyer and stand your ground if he threatens You can even sue for damages and legal fee. The threat of using army would even make the case more favorable to you. You can sue for harassment and intimidation as well. The only hassle I see here is the collection of your rent balance which denotes your acceptance or approval of the eviction. You shouldn't have collected the money in the first place.

I don’t think the landlord can displace you. The previous owner should have mentioned your active tenancy to him.
Lawyers in this domain will have better answers.

Land tussle is a terrible issue in Lagos.
A friend of mine lost three plots of land at different locations in Lagos at different times. The man vowed not to ever buy land in Lagos again.
Imagine after paying for a portion of land for years, you visit the place intermittently without any problem. After a weekend of such visit, you are summoned to the place only to find a building roofed building on it built overnight ooo.
The 'Omon Oniles' and Baales' are the constant culprits such acts.
