I sent this seller $348.8 worth of bitcoin in exchange for payoneer funds, I told I need the funds to pay my school insurance fee, he being a buyer on this thread, I sent him the bitcoin first, he later gave me story I don't even understand.. others please beware

The measure above doesn't protect a fund buyer at all.

The MITM scam technique mainly affects fund sellers.

To all $$ sellers, always tell your buyer to add "My payment is for 080xxxxxxxx" in transaction description.

The "080xxxxxxxx" above will be your ($$ seller) phone number.

If the buyer refuses to add it, then you have to refund back to only the same account that sent the money.

Never refund to an account with a different name.

Mr. Tabbaz...I think it is time to arrange the details of some of the confirmed scammers here on naira land and forward their names, bank accounts and mobile numbers to EFCC and the ICPC or even the Police. This will go a long way to help and kill of the increasing rate of scammers and their boldness... I think I can help in doing that as well...

Please just let me know if you have think this through... we have to take the fight to them and keep maintaining the integrity of this business forum...The bank details should come in handy, as you can't open a bank account without a passport, mobile info and National or Voters ID card....So, we have a great chance of getting some of this people..
