Send a reminder to international admission with your application ID that you’ve applied for the pass 3 weeks, you can copy in Yetunde thier Africa representative. Her email is on the school website

Thank you for sharing. I am yet to hear from them regarding my application and it's been 3 weeks now since I applied.

I’m yet to receive CAS.....I was asked to send my refusal letter which I did and I received a mail the following day that my refusal is recent and was base on financial issues that I should tell them how my reasons for denial has changed.....so I replied the mail with my bank statement........ I got admitted within ten days of application

Edinburgh Napier University is located in Edinburgh. The latter is the capital of Scotland. It's got a good reputation for being an admixture of historic and new buildings. I like to see the place as a dreamy city, like something out of a fairytale. So you're likely to have a nice time there.

As per jobs, I should reckon that there are jobs in Edinburgh. I've had to go to Edinburgh on part time rounds, so yeah there are likely opportunities there, although you may need to factor in the impact of covid. In any case, you could always make the commute to Glasgow for jobs. Travel between both cities is roughly 40 minutes by train. So it's doable.

If you're looking to work in the security industry, you may want to get your police report in Nigeria before coming over. This would enable you do the SIA training and then consequently apply for a SIA badge.

Why IELTS For where? Don't you have Credit in English in your WAEC and you even studied Literature. Why don't you write to them to wave off the IELTS? Thanks

For September, I can't really say because spaces fill up fast for most schools and it is highly competitive.

Is a resume that shows the school a summary of your nursing experience, references, and certifications. The portfolio is the supporting documentation of your information. That is why u will be allowed to start from year 2 against year 1. Schools like dundee /Oxford Brookes their MSc nursing is 3years that doesn't require prior learning

I am glad that it's of great help. Unfortunately I won't be able to review it for you as I am a super busy person.

But I will advise you use grammarly app (free) to correct your punctuation and grammar.

Also make sure you mention a few Nigerian startup where your msc computing will be useful and mention that you like the UK as destination as the University (thay you are appling to) is prestigious etc.

Your statement neednt be more than 600 words

I'll suggest you apply to the school directly. Submit a statement that explains that you are self taught in web development and IT and you have experience and portfolio of work that are IT related, hence why you are pursuing an MSC. State that the current boom in startups in Nigeria shows a growing need for people with skills like yours and you believe an Msc will put you in the right stead to contribute to the Nigerian tech hub industry etc etc. Apply to about 5 different Uni's though, one of them will give yu admission.

I called their representatives in Nigeria, she said I won't be given admission because I studied Industrial Chemistry for BSc. and that it isn't related to Computing, although I have 2 years experience as a web developer. It has been a long journey trying to get a study visa. After 5 refusal from Canada, we decided to calm down and later decided to go to UK instead. My wife actually loves Canada because her sister has been there.
