Times have changed and the children we are birthng these days are different from us.

During my own time my dad bought us NAN and it was the big size like the size of big bournvita of old because we are twins. My Mom said he used to buy it every week then at 1.50k. this one no be say Dem tell me, I saw one of the tins of NAN baby food being used for keeping Needles, thread and buttons after I was grown. Me I will give my baby the best o. I no drink pap, why should my baby take pap?

A man has planned to run away from his wife and baby after he was seen pricing baby food and diaper and started sweating inside AC after he discovered the prices.

He called his family members right away blaming them for forcing him to marry, that now he's the one facing the heat and none of them is here to help him out.

Now check out the phone the man is using, not up to 4k. Check out his shirt and trousers.. is that the person you think can afford that kind of food? I'm not trying to degrade him. I'm just trying to say, make sure you can comfortably cater for yourself and one more person before going into marriage. This is exactly what the so many men who abandoned their family passed through before deciding to take to their heels.

Marriage is a beautiful thing. let's stop making it look scary and undesirable with our myopic approach. Do it when the time is right not for public commendation or validation cos when you start facing the heat, non of those people cheering you on will come and help you like the man rightly said.

To those who want to travel because they feel Nigeria is not progressing and because of their self hatred for the country. I wish to state here categorically that they should be allow to go. No country should stop them. Safe journey to them but they should also have it at the back of their minds that by the time they don't get what they want in the so called country that flows with milk and honey and they return back to Nigeria when they must have heard of the best happening in Nigeria, they will find out that those of us who stayed back to help sacrifice and build the country will occupy the best positions and we will take charge of every best opportunities and they will become beggars in their own home country.

Not also forgetting those who are spoiling the image of the country with drugs related crimes all over the globe all the time and running to developed countries to constitute nuisance. Your punishment is doing some push-up waiting for you. And may never return alive.

I'm sorry for pitying you big Sis... honestly my lil experience in less than 2years of living as a single mom of 2beautiful kids made me feel the pity.

I was never married...was impregnated at 20yrs and hoped the relationship would work for close to 10yrs...I suffered a lot trying to make it work cos of what people would say and the stigmatization.


Since he left us I do wonder if I can still go into a relationship or real marriage at 29yrs... seeing your 42 and happy with no child made me feel bad that I've been ungrateful all along... trust me... it's not easy being single at that age or single mom...our society wouldn't listen to your story nor where you are coming from...they just want to admit that you're at fault and the major reason why you are still single.

Hmm.. you are right though but I don't fancy this person. I want something else if you understand what I mean. I don't know why what I want is not what I'm getting. Just so sad. I just hope it's not what I'm thinking cos I don't want people to start saying "she likes selecting that's why shes still unmarried up till now. True, Ive been selecting but I don't see anything wrong because me I can't marry who I don't like. I rather stay on my own than marry someone I don't fancy. These are just my worries. I wish it was someone I liked. Hmmm
