It wasn't as if it (security) was better during their (PDP) reign, but the APC used the imperfections of the Pdp to come into power only to make the former ruling party look more competent, focused and effective!

Very common in access bank. If you just open account they will call. They duped my kid brother same way too. When I went to complain in access bank, I met almost 5 people with same complain too.

I don't think your account is safe with Access Bank. Lost my phone last week and somebody transferred about 100K from my Access Bank account that has no active ATM card using USSD code. One's account needs to have active ATM card for the USSD to be used for transfer and the maximum daily amount is NGN 20K... Access Bank is yet to refund/recall my money

Something is definitely wrong with Access Bank. I'm considering closing my accounts with the Bank.

Same thing happened to me, when I created a new account with first bank. someone called me that his from HQ, that my account need to be upgraded bla bla bla. I told him that I will go and confirm from the bank and immediately cut the call. Later went to the bank and discovered it was all a scam.

hmmm. How did he get the new account details?!

One also called my big sis few weeks ago from accesss bank, she knew it was them but she just played along, then she asked the idiot why is he calling her, you will be surprised at what he said

he told her that he want her money, she insulted the idiot before ending the call.

Access bank has one of the best customer care service, they prefer calling to resolve issues only when you mail them first.

There was a time I needed to block my account fast because I thought I had been scammed, I was short of airtime and time was not on standby, so I made a quick call to them but it got disconnected and they called back immediately. I was extremely impressed.

To be sincere, i have to give it to them in the way the always attached a warning message to whatever text messages those scammers send or initiate.

That warning msg was what made me to think hard and provoked the questions that i asked the scammer.

The warning msg is: if this request was not initiated by you, contact so so number etc.

The mgt still need to do something more effective. Not every body will remember to read those hacked msgs sent by those scammers to the end. Some people may have comprehension challenges


The should also try and fish out the insiders or the cartel running this.

Why do these scammers always come for Access bank customers?!

Two days after i collected my first ATM in Access bank Last december, someone called me to tell me of how i just collected my ATM and how it need to be upgraded before the new year bla bla bla...

I nearly fell for d trick. He insulted the hell out of me when i started asking him questions.
He was like: i am not ur mate... U are very stu..pid...you think we are playing here... I am trying to do my job... lol. I was perplexed after that episode.

I kept wondering how he got to know about the collection of the ATM card!!

Similar calls were put to my dad and sister.

I lost a dear friend who was like a brother in sept 2014... Lost a blood brother (our last born) on Saturday 18 April 2020. 18 April is the birthday of my friend.

Feb 2012, i lost a cousin sister. We were so close. She was an epitome of kindness and simplicity. She was married for 6yrs without an issue. Her husband loved her to the end despite all the negative pressure from his people.

I was still mourning my cousin, my best friend when death struck again on the 18th April 2020 to take away my humble, meek and creative kid bro

No one should rejoice over the death of another person. We are faced as humans with thousand of ways to die every minute. God is the one protecting us. Restricting the hands of death over our lives because he has appointed for every man his time!

Truly, there are lessons the world ought to learn from this crisis.

May God comfort his immediate family and friends.

May God Almighty, the all knowing, the source of all life, the ONE who can kill or make alive, Have mercy on us ALL IJN.
