What were u doing when you noticed this ? i will advice you boot into recovery mode and carry out a reset .... from my view that device memory don full since you no delete some files

Both phones run on Android 10. Although the Redmi 9 runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 (upgradeable to MIUI 12) while the Infinix Note 8 has XoS 7 installed. The Redmi 9 has better software support.
