Got tons of people using the phone and playing graphic demanding games everytime,none of them have complained,seems this one just landed a defective unit or perhaps he melted it himself cos he's a Tecno marketer

Even my Red MI 9C is doing the same thing. I took it to the service center near cash and carry at computer village since it's still under warranty. I was told it would be ready in 5 working days. I was so disappointed because my phone was flashed without my permission without being told it would be and I lost ample information on it. They said they changed the panel. And so had to wipe everything.
Secondly, the screen has started doing the same thing again. I can't wait to sell this phone. I'm so disappointed. Never had this issue with the earlier Red MI 4 series.
