I doubt if it's a federal road. Even if it is, he ought to have constructed it long time ago.

Sequel to the recent news on the newly constructed Igwuruta-Chokocho road by the Governor of Rivers State, Nyeson Wike.

Here comes the Igbo Etche-Rumuokwurushi road which has been in a deplorable state for the past four years.

Similar nature befalls the Igbo Etche-Umuegbule road in Etche LGA.

Despite numerous pleas and protests by residents and commuters plying the road, the state government remains adamant in developing other areas of Rivers State other than Ikwerre LGAs.

our new motto is quality management yields more, we are still on the mission to get #500k from one plot and we already have a plot of 2 weeks old crops, by looking at the current price of cucumbers now(#6000),I have no doubt we will reach that target by the time it will come out a bag will surely be hovering above #7k or more,and it will be an interesting dry season this time around because we have cleared 1 hectare for cucumbers and my partner Mr diekololo from fountain drip, abeokuta will start installation of the irrigation system next week.

To answer your question, the two dominant breeds here is large white & land race. Large white are known to grow so big up to 350kg while land race are known to be good mothers and their litters in most cases are much more than the former.

For your second question, my farm doesnt smell at all, infact we eat sometimes in the pen. The secret is simple, the farm hand clean the pen thoroughly morning and evening, and we have good drainage system and a sock-away.

I left my job so i can be independent to pursue my interest in farming and others. We are not restricted to piggery, we are going into other livestock gradually. And yes, piggery can serve as a full time job, it may be difficult for a starter for the first 5 months as u keep investing, buying feeds, medications etc. But when they are matured, and they start reproducing, then you are rest assured your smile will be broad and natural. A pig gives birth twice a year.

It's absolutely no news how in the past few days, there's been increasing fire outbreaks in Rivers State which has left Lives and properties worth millions devastated.

One might wonder the swift response of the state government towards this menace.

However, I paid a courtesy visit to the Rivers State Fire Service, situated at the Mile 1 park, I was bemused as I gradually wabble the environment, it looked like an abandoned project where everyone was displaced to an unknown destination.

There is no emergency hotline like the 112 or 911 which used to work some years ago in the state.

It was even more disturbing when I learnt that only one Fire Truck is currently working amongst all the vehicles parked in the environment. Sometimes, the vehicle break down on the road to the Fire scene.

According to a staff who plead to remain anonymous, said that the his Excellency, Nyeson Wike led administration is yet to provide a new vehicle nor rehabilitate the detestable environment over the past 6 years in office.

He further revealed that very few workers report to work, while no fewer than 200 staffs are working elsewhere whilst receiving salary as civil servants, thereby increasing the workload on the available staffs who turn out for fire incidents.
