What sort of chats and call log please?
And can engagement pictures work?
ednut1:
for a new marriage all you need is to provide evidence of relationships e.g chats, call log, old pictures when the relationship started. Parents are not required to be in the picture as not all parents support a marriage. accra interview is now rare self. And its not required to post on social media too but it helps when the officer has doubts.

Hello TaniSure,

That of the state or local government will suffice.
All the best

Thank you.
Please can I dm u and send u a copy of what I have to see if it's good enough?
Mrtoke:
Yeah, I am using the one issued by a local government registry and we weren't deny in our first application due to the certificate issued by a local government registry.

I honestly think you’ll be okay once it’s issued by a government agency

Please someone should help me understand the common-law declaration form.
Anyone that have indicated common-law in place of relationship shoud kindly reach out.

Thanks.

Thanks
Mrtoke:
Either way, you will be okay, I have the same problem when I applied for my study permit, I wasn’t married but I got married some weeks before my application was approved.
I had applied for my wife when I was in school but she got denied not because the vo is in doubt of our marriage.

On another note, you can select common law under marital status , that’s safer but I mean it’s no big deal once you’re able to provide proof that you are truly married

Hello everyone
Please I will need your input here, I am Abit confused.

I am starting my program at UBC in August and I am about to submit my study permit application,
I am getting married in July, and wifie is still in school so the plan is for her to come join me next year
here is the confusion:
1.should I mention her iny LOE and attach any marriage evidence?like wedding invitation card?
2.hope it won't be a problem if I submit my application "single" and then present marriage evidence next year when I try to invite wifie over?

I don't want to make mistakes.

Okay, thank you.
mcobex:
Good plan, submit alone now then invite her after her studies. But also state that you have a fiancé and will be getting married to her in July(if possible include your wedding invitation to your app)

They resumed upfront last week. I did it in abuja
owee:
Hi Tanisure,

Is the upfront medical examination still ongoing? I thought Qlife stopped it a while back and only attend to people referred to them by IRCC?

Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding bringing my spouse over.
Somehow, we had to postpone our marriage to July, but I will be submitting my Visa application this week.
The thing is,
Since we aren't married yet, Will it be a okay if I submit my application this week "single" and then present a marriage certificate next year when we apply for her work permit?
my partner is still in school, she will be rounding up next year, and our plan is for her to come join me next year.
