PoliticsRe: Corruption In Aviation Sector Caused Dana Air Crash – CPC Publicity Secretary by Tantolu: 5:58am On Jun 06, 2012
Corruption,corruption,corruption,...this menance is killing this nation,i worked in aviation industry for a while,The truth is the Airworthiness of most aircraft fly around is questionable,yet the so called NCAA keeps certifying them OK after each phase of "check" abroad.which is often used as an avenue to tranfer money into foreign accounts...how many Nigerian engineers can stand face to face with his airline MD and maintain a stand of not signing out an aircraft for a flight..the fear of losing that job, and getting double crossed at the NCAA for liecense renewal would not allow such courage.How many foreign pilots has refused to fly an aircaft with unserviceable components(GPS,RADAR,etc)and get their contract renewed.

How come an airline will present two 20-25yrs old aircrafts and would be licenced for commercial operation and these aircrafts would do an average of 8 landings a day at that age!!

We need the Directorate of Airworthiness of the NCAA to be Managed by people that has the fear of God in their hearts and would not compromise standards.
Nigeria needs to be conscious of indians managing businesses in nigeria,corrupt systems here enable them to have their ways in various sector of our economy.Our Edo and Delta people in the aviation industry needs to change their ways....

May the souls of the departed rest in peace..Amen

Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Need Advice B4 I Do Something Funny by Tantolu: 5:27am On Sep 30, 2008
@377:
If truly u av a 2:1 in finance , getting a job is not going to be difficult,but u need to be sure of ur ability,With 200k if are wise, in a yr it can turn to 600k,think of any clean business (selling air time,etc) you can do while u search for a job, make sure its a business that will not suffer much if u are not available(i.e when u start working),the simple different btwn a capitalist and a graduate is ability to manage money and take calculated risk.I finished service in 2004 with N85k savings, today its worth 1.1m in a small business, not even shares,despite the fact that my job take so much of my time, what we need in this generation is the ability to believe in a small resources,take a good look at Aliko Dangote today with just 500k, As far as am concern in this present Nijar, 2:1 is equivalent of Msc in terms of Jobs requirement, especially made in Nijar Msc,abeg, Ur destiny lies in your hand sha, goodluck!

EducationRe: Oou: Olabisi Onabanjo University,school Of Entertainment Or Citadel Of Learning by Tantolu: 12:01am On Apr 19, 2008
When the %of serious student is just too low to the unserious ones (yahoo yahoo and aristsrtess) then the school 's reputation is at stake,check out the population of unemployable graduates, visit the computer village and take a statistics of the village rats, OOU is well represented!Go to the institution check the available facility to the population of students, Students graduate from training recieved at the Eiye Confra to become Security officers at Banks!in my best opinion the school used to be among the best four in the late 90's but missed the course during the oyeneye regime,lost his compass too,such that getting back to the right magnetic heading in all ramification has been very difficult.,OOU could be better.
