NewDelhi: A member of the House of Representatives, Ch erratic power supply in the country as a major factor for the perennial students poor performance in public examinations.
It will be recalled that only 31.28percent of candidates that sat the 2014 West African Secondary School Certificate , WASSCE, had credits in five subjects, including English and Mathematics.
Ogunnusi, who represents Ifako-Ijiaye constituency in Lagos, made the observation while presenting scholarships to no fewer than 100 secondary school students in Ifako-Ijaiye, constituency, Lagos, at the weekend.
The lawmaker said unstable power supply in the country was disincentive to learning, adding that it had discouraged students from studying hard.

donnypool: Nigerians are nothing but cowards, all they do is sit behind their computer and pray for God to come down and liberate them and that is after committing theg online and came across African Americans, protesting peacefully against police brutality, racism, discrimination against themnarmed teen was shot dead by the police. Isn't that something Nigerians can do to end this oppression, thievery, police brutality by their so called politicians? (no job, no electricity, no clean water, no good road, no middle class, less rich more poor, corrupt educational system, oppression, nepotism, etc)

I have being on nairaland for quite sometime and i have noticed how poorly the youths think. Seun the owner of nairaland did well to create a forum where every body with good ideas can share and in their own ways move the country forward, but all i see is youths being cursed by tribalism, religion, and political party.

These same youths are the ones helping these politicians to commit crimes, these same youth are the assassin, ritual killers, armed robbers etc. One hardly see them in the police uniform apart from being an army. These same youths compare Nigeria to America, they thought the government build america. you all should watch "Men who build America" then you all will know the government did little to nothing in building of the country.

Only if Nigerians should stop being cowards, take it to the street and start a peaceful protest against any form of oppression, then all will be made well, but ion, then all will be made well, but if not, Ghanaians will still continue to call the country a "shitehole" like they always do.

To tell u the truth, when i saw ur topic , d only thing that was on my mind was to ...................forget sha. but after reading ur post, it occurred to me that ur the type of creature that will purposely run in front of a moving vehicle, not because u wanna get ur self killed but because u just want to give who ever was driving the vehicle a life time burden........cheers!! post what ever u wanna post...afterall its ur right

cgniyi: I find it funny actually. My mum first informed me this morning. Also received a text from a friend.
The first thing that came to my mind is that this is obviously a rumor.
I even thought about starting a rumor myself - urinate in bath water to prevent ebola spread.
But i gave myself brain sharply.That would actually have caused more harm.
I was offended by the fact that anyone would believe the salt and water thing in the first place.
In this day and age of information technology, ppl still fall for these kinds of story, smh
Whether u started the rumor or not, one should take time to confirm any story they receive. What do we have internet and google for?

I have lived In Agege all my life and i know all the bakeries in Agege, can you please let us know the bakery where this picture was taken and to make confirmation i will personally take a team of the bakery association to investigate on this and to confirm if this picture is ever real !

Many of the bakeries around here like ADENIKE BAKERY Which is one of the Biggest and Best bakery in Agege will never allow such to happen, my reason for saying this to the poster is simply for him to understand that calling AGEGE BREAD actually is a referral to any bread made or any bakery in Agege.

So it would be very proper and legal for this poster to shed more light and give more details to this picture displaying breads which can be taken by anyone in his room or toilet just to cause an impediment to the mind of many bread loving customers or this picture can equally be removed when it proves to be fake.
