2009 Admission Application for Post-UME Screening Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the 2009/2010 Post- Universities Matriculation Examination (PUME) screening for candidates seeking admissions to 100 level of this great Institution. Admission into our university is highly competitive and starts with a screen exercise for prospective students. The screening exercise is a mandatory requirement for entry into the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (UNAAB). Eligibility Only candidates who have chosen UNAAB as their first and /or second choice of institution in the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board UME and have scored a minimum of 180 marks in the April 2009 examination are eligible. Method of Application Applicants are required to pay into any one of UNAAB accounts as given below, a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only in any of the following banks that is of proximity to them for their scratch card each. UNAAB Account Numbers Bank Account Number 1. Guaranty Trust Bank Plc 421/421805/114 2. Intercontinental Bank Plc 0035001000005151 3. UNAAB Microfinance Bank Ltd 2080080100480 Applicants should note that they are to collect payment tellers for their scratch card from the designated banks. Purchase of scratch card commences from Wednesday 17 – Thursday 25 June, 2009. Registration After purchase of scratch card an eligible candidate is requested to upload his/her 1” x 1” colour passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. On uploading the 1” x1” colour passport photograph with red background, a candidate is expected to first preview, confirm, submit and print out immediately an acknowledgement paper showing his/her photograph. No complaint of wrong or blank picture will be entertained after submission. Checking of Post-UME Results by Candidates Candidates who have undertaken the Screening test are required to check their results by purchasing scratch card for a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only, payable to any one of UNAAB accounts in the following banks that is of proximity to them. (a) Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise automatically forfeits his/her eligibility for consideration in the current sessions admissions exercise (b) Anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the Police and the candidate so impersonated will automatically be ‘disqualified’. Direct Entry: All direct entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma as institution of first choice are also required to complete the online application form for their screening exercise. Please note that candidates will be short listed based on green forms received from JAMB and only short listed candidates will be invited for the screening exercise at a date to be announced later. All direct entry candidates should obtain the N 2,000.00(Two thousand naira only) scratch card from any of the banks stated above and proceed to complete the online registration process. Hello all UNAD is really making me to regret, waiting for the so called strike to end waiting for the PUME what's all this unad is doing i've been reading everyday also newspaper sometimes i just wondered when will i stop reading for the PUME. Now facing the stress during the PUME and waiting for the result to come out am really annoyed with all this can somebody just whisper to me about UNAD and its wahala they are putting we intending students into i can just imagine!!! Do you all agree with UNAD and its EKITI STATE palava they are really affecting the students negatively which ought not to be so while they keep their children far away from the country studying abroad using us here as practicals. so i think it suits everybody thats why you are all quite doing nothing about it, i think somebody should just pour its mind out. At least we are leaders of tommorow or are we not? so if you are just say something well i wish you all in your pursuit God Bless |
