He probably works for them. Defaulting on an unsecured loan will only damage your credit. They won't waste time on anything else because their business practice is unethical to start with especially the duration and interest rates.

I've defaulted for about 3 months now. They haven't called my contacts but they have notified me about my BVN being submitted to the credit bureau for blacklisting. The funny thing is since I started owing them I've seen the wisdom of sometimes letting things be instead of borrowing to solve some problems. Better to go without some comforts or even essentials in life than to take loans. I hope to liquidate some properties so I can pay off everything but those late fees sha...I no send. I'd pay what I owe with the interest. For my conscience sake.

My own case come add credit card debt join. I'm currently owing fairmoney 1.4m naira. I'd have to sell off property to pay it. It all stemmed from borrowing from one to pay another in the hopes that I'd earn the difference in interest.
