Politics / Re: Buhari’s Legacy Of Recessions By Fredrick Nwabufo by tartar9(m): 10:21am On Nov 22, 2020
You agree the recessions are due to oil price and covid-19. What then are you blaming Buhari for

"In a nutshell, what caused the last recession (of 2016) was not entirely the fall in oil prices. Rather, the lack of sound economic policies to diversify away from the volatility of crude oil prices, whilst boosting the nation’s non-oil exports, was also a major cause.”

Oga,this is clearly in reference to the decades of Nigeria's inability to diversify from oil proceeds but yet you are stupidly saying it's about Buhari who just assumed office when that recession happened.

In that case there was a 30 percent growth , in this case there is a recorded shrink and no growth
More reason you can't be an economist
What happened was like a value 10 dropping to 4 and later increased to 8.
The "growth" you are talking about is that increase from 4 to 8.

The UK govt was responsible for the halt of Christianity spreading in other parts of the country. They were also responsible for Islam to perpetuate Jihad in northern and middle-belt parts of Nigeria. The UK is an extremely unclean and atrocious country.

They are anti-black-progress and will always side the Fulanis to ensure the status-quo remains.[/s]
Keep blaming UK for everything.

Silly comment from you. Obviously you lack knowledge. Oil price fall present an ample opportunity for aNY oil producing nation with 4 refineries. WWE export a barrel at about 40 $, when a barrel can yield up to $100 in refined products. I can educate you further on this. But these clueless old men in government keep borrowing to finance railway that contribute little or nothing to GDP. We Xport crude and import refined products even from Niger republic now. Where do Niger get the crude from? I hope I am giving you small sense? Some of those refineries are owned by Nigerian leaders, the very people you are blindly supporting here. The worst-hit nations by Covid-19 have not slided in to any recession not to talk of their biggest since 1987. So who is being illiterate here?
What sort of bare faced lie is this sad
Covid-19 recession have affected a lot of countries and done far worse in countries like the US.
We don't even have to be touched by covid-19 to feel the economic impacts. That's simple econs 101.

I never said Buhari caused any recession... That would be absurd! I am really not as daft as you so self-righteously like to believe. cool

I basically faulted and will continue to fault him for failing badly to steer the nation into the right path to economic glory...

It's like an ailing company handed over to you... What's the first thing to do??! Simple, you halt the decay process not continue to condone or allow it....

See ehn... I have no energy to trade words with people who believe everything is being done right by their leaders with constantly negative results and output.... Sycophancy is not my thing. Thank you.
You're saying the same thing sad

So, whose fault is it that between 2015 and 2019 no meaningful effort was made to revive an ailing economy, or at the very least further amplify an already upward economy left by GEJ??!

Whose fault that no effort was made to, at the very least, half the bloated and unreasonable cost of governance in the face of a declining oil revenue??!
The economy was already declining towards the end of gej's tenure. Don't pretend as if you don't know sad

Nigeria hasn't grown an inch since 2016!!!... The economy has been free falling since Buhari took over!!!

The reason for both recessions is well known from the oil price to covid-19.

One of the strongest power of the devil is deception.

It's really very difficult to help humans because of the power of deception.

Today, people will rather they had GEJ as president.

I thought they said Osinbajo will be there to run things.

You can hate those who support Trump. That's left for you.

Whatever you allow on earth shall be allowed in heaven and whatever you disallowed on earth, shall be disallowed in heaven.

This is very important. If I ask the person who wrote this article, this question (WHERE IS THE SOURCE OF COVID 19 AND WHAT SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT) he won't be able to say anything. That's how bad things have gotten.

A lot of people have been deceived and they don't know why they do what they do.

The original writer of the above article have been deceived.
You mean the same people who voted Buhari a second time undecided...they certainly think otherwise.
