Sorry dwlkelvin you cant watch it, unless you subscribe to etv, because the channel has been scrambled. However i,ve heard that etv Ghana has been launched and would be airing the programme among its packages as fta. What is still unclear is whether the signal would strong enough for us to receive and view in Nigeria. |
I am with sugarbelly on this one. Sex definitely sells, in fact you don't have to look too far to see its huge application in selling various products & services, through advertising. Yes, I liked the shower hour and make no apology for it. After all, it was only a small part of the show (1 in 24hrs) that could easily be avoided by those it allegedly offends- I'd say those that are insecure about sex and their own sexuality. Call me a pervert if like, but it will be like to saying I am not human. Tell me of any normal healthy adult that does not get a least some kind of sexual titillation from the sight or image of the young body of the opposite sex -including that of his/her spouse or partner. The fact is BB is voyeuristic in nature, right from the outset of its initial design & concept; so anyone watching the show is (by this simplistic definition) a Viewer & a pervert. For me (and I'm sure for the viewing silent majority) the BBA shower hour will be greatly missed;and its absence will no doubt lose the show some if its appeal, if not for the free excuse to see naked titillating bodies for at least the controversy it generates. I therefore say, bring back shower hour- be it Meryl's soapy boobs or Tapuwa's labia etc - simply just bring it on, no shame, no guilt. |
Dear Harra, kindly note that nothing has changed about the frequency, except that an additional code (enryption) has been included in the broadcasting signal which prevents your receiver from successfully processing this signal to give you sound and picture as usual. Nobody knows how to break this code for now, until then you may have to continue to do without or subscribe to eTV. |
Etv is now scrambled with an encryption sytem known as nagra 3. this means you will have to subscribe to view the channel or wait until somebody cracks the code and makes it available for ppl like you & me to use. |
Dear Harra, sorry to to have to tell you that Etv has scrambled its signals with effect from 31/07/09, using an encryption system (code) known as nagra 3. This means you will no longer be able to view your favourite programmes on the channel unless you become a subscriber. Don't worry, you are not the only one who will be dissappointed, many more particularly in countries like Kenya ,Zimbabwe and others who got so used to the channel are now all up in arms with this great loss. I am personally already missing my favourite soap series: Rythmn City and also Scandal, which I watch unfailingly Mon. - Fri. Hopefully one day somebody could be able hack into the channel, though I dare say it will probably have to be a very very long wait, because nagra 3 has so far proven to be an impossible encryption system to break- as those who use to watch D+ and TV Cabo prorammes on Hispsat already know. |
