Let him try!
On the other hand, it serves us right for returning this incompetant PDP umblera man back to office again, on the basis of sentiments (tribe & religion). What's so worrisome and saddening is that quite a few of these sentimentalists would not have learnt any lesson from their faulty reasoning and would most likely repeat the same mistake, come 2015.
I think you better UPDATE yourself. You sound rather cocky and conceited, quoting paragraphs from over decade old organic chemistry text books. Have you even bothered to read any scientific papers on this subect in the last 5 years ?? huh
Thank you very much, the man is so conceited and too eager to condemn, he didn't even bother to note the disclaimer in my post (concerning the source)- and evidently rushed to conclude and throw insult.

@davidylan, why not give us your source or at least copy and paste (as I did) from your Old Organic Chemistry Text Book, maybe we will all be convinced. lipsrsealed
This article is not only true but also very incomplete.

1. All plastic foood packaging do contain hydrocarbons which are carcinogenic

2. ANY extreme temprature hot or cold can cause the release of these hyrdrocarbons into food. Freezing as well as heating.

3. Many of these hydrocarbons are chemically identical to human Estrogens. An example is BPA. Bisphenol A.

4. Bisphenol A can cause breast and gynaecological cancers in women. Also it causes lowered sperm count and penis shrinkage in males.

Google is your friend.
I quite concur, came accross this article carrying the same message, a friend forwarded it to my mail so I don't have the source; but will paste it here for anybody who wish to read it.

PLEASE FORWARD IT TO PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT CANCER UPDATE FROM JOHN  HOPKINS   HOSPITAL  , U S - PLEASE READ 1.   No plastic containers in micro.2.   No water bottles in freezer.3.   No plastic wrap in microwave. Johns  Hopkins  has recently sent this out in its newsletters.  This information is being circulated atWalter Reed  Army   Medical   Center  as well.  Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer.  Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies.  Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.  Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at  Castle   Hospital  , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.  He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.  He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers.  This especially applies to foods that contain fat.  He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the c ells of the body.  Instead, he recommends using glass, such as  Corning   Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food.  You get the same results, only without the dioxin.  So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.  Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper.  It's just safer to use tempered glass,  Corning  Ware, etc.  He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper.  The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave.  As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food.  Cover food with a paper towel instead. This is an article that should be sent to anyone important in your life..
RomanceRe: Dealing With A Jealous Girlfriend by tashanja(m): 3:18pm On Mar 13, 2013
KINGwax: That's wot I was tryna say, that is jealousy coupled with a mental problem. I tell u. I dated a girl like dt in 2003 - 2005. It was hell. I had to break off. It's not normal. She goes to fight any female who goes as far as talking to me
I feel you, some ppl never experience the baddest case bordering on kolo.
Mine started after she asked me to take her to see her friend (who I never met before), we got there, she went in and I waited in the car till she came, out escorted by the friend whom she introduced, said hi, and we drove off.
Never been back or seen this person ever since, not even up till now; but low and behold, out of the blue and without warning this girl started accusing me of dating this her friend. Worst still, she wouldn't accept any explanation or agree we confront the girl to prove my innocence.
It got even worse to the extent that whenever I am late from work, she would suspect that I was with this supposed person, some times just popping out to buy something from the local supermarket became something else; because to her, this was an excuse for me to sneak out and cheat with this friend or any imaginary girl.
She turned my life to hell, come see drama, tantrums, abuses and what not. In the end I just had to call it quits.
It was later confirmed to me that she was slightly kolomental and that it ran in their family - so I am no longer holding her responsible even though I was deeply hurt.

BusinessRe: DSTV Disconnecting Subscribers Before Subscription Expires by tashanja(m): 10:53am On Mar 10, 2013
bros. most likely u have an outstanding of abt 1k if its premium. why not find out and pay in full then monitor it and see. i have been with them since 1999 when sub was 2500 and i havent had any issues. abt ssselect, its still on. check ur bouquet list.
I am also a long standing subscriber and believe me I should know if I am owing; besides its almost impossible to owe them, most especially when your basic complaint is about your subcription - which automatically brings them to check your account every time you lodge such complain.

Well how about this, pls try to explain: I returned from travel yesterday afternoon, knowing fully well that my subscription would have expired, so I went to their office to renew: they checked and confirmed it had indeed expired and that I was also disconnected, so I paid (the full premium amount without the 10% bonus) and went home and commenced watching; by 4.30 am (12 hrs later) I woke up to discover I had already been diconnected as my tv screen was displaying their famous E16-4 error sign for disconnection.

I also recalled yesterday that one of their staff was advising me, he said something like "oga from your appearance I can tell you can afford to miss out on the bonus so my advice is next time let your subscription run out and pay the full premium (like you did today)because this bonus thing is causing a lot of customer problems so avoid it, although our guys at Lagos office are working on it, however, they are doing so in batches, area by area, so wait until they cover your area".

Well, folks is that not what I did yesterday (didn't I forfeited their useless bonus)? So why am I already disconnected in less than 24hrs this morning, after payment.

Bottom line, DSTV has emerged as a monopoly without real competition while the national consumer protection agency NCC watches on doing nothing as this company DSTV contnues to mistreat us, its customers, with the utmost unprofessional insensitivity and impunity.
In the mean time we have very little choice other than to bear the insult and swallow our pride until somebody comes along (no thanks to HiTV) to shake them from their comfort zone or at least NCC decides to do it's job properly. angry Nigeria we hail thee cry

BusinessRe: Preventing Your Business Name From Being Reallocated By The CAC? by tashanja(m): 7:08pm On Mar 07, 2013
I registered mine last Dec, in less than 2wks in order to beat rumoured pending fee increment by begining of this year (don't know if it happened though).
It was also for 1M shares and costed me 60K, through a lawyer I know who claimed/refused to charge me a single Kobo; he processed it all at CAC Abuja, while I reside in another State, and the name search (even with some rejections) took only one day - we communicated by phone & text msg throughout, while documents for signing were sent to me by courier.

^^^^That is quite unnnecessry, what if one of them retailiates you'd probably be among the first to accuse them of intolerance.

@OP: Not sure if its a good idea, too many challenges lay ahead, even if you succeed your happiness may probably be short lived because Nigerians are increasingly becoming polarized.

BusinessRe: DSTV Disconnecting Subscribers Before Subscription Expires by tashanja(m): 7:23pm On Mar 06, 2013
Its been happening to me for over six months and I usually report to their office and get reconnected, then will it repeat again and again every 24hrs for at least 3-4days before it settles untill the next monthly circle.
Last month they even sent me repeated text & e-mail alerts on different days confirming my subscrition expiry date, which later proved wrong and misleading because I was subsequently disconnected only to find out that my subscription had actually expired 2days earlier and not as they had advised me. For their own mistake, I therefore had to pay the additional penalty (of 1k for the full premiunm bouquet @ 11k instead of the discounted 10k bonus rate)for subscribing late - though it wasn't my fault at all.
This month I am not paying on time, even if I wanted, because I am attending some conferences and wouldn't have time; so I'll have to wait till next month to see what will happen.
