If u must submit your company's account, I think you would need a tax certificate and a solid source of those millions millions, invoices, receipts, contract approval etc, after that, Your personal statement of account with tax certificate would be needed as well, you will also explain why u transferred 3million naira into ur account just few weeks to when you wanna apply for visa... sorry for asking you this question, Are you going for graduation, naming, Marriage or conference that must must travel nowhuh Is 6months too far for you? Well, give it a try and lets see how it goes. Experience is the best teacher.
First of all, my company has been in operation for 33years, it's not just a company I opened yesterday, I have tcc, receipts, invoices and all that, I have proof of where the money came from and all that... So here is my story and why I'll be travelling... I've been married to my wife for over a year, she is a British citizen, she has a daughter and her daughter stays with her ex husband in England because her ex was comfortable with her bringing her daughter to Nigeria when she relocated back to naija, my wife hasn't seen her daughter in months due to work, now she is on leave and would be going to spend two weeks with her in England, now where I come in is that my wife wants me to come with her for these two weeks to meet her daughter for the first time and for us to spend two weeks summer holiday together as a family, her daughter is 12years old and my wife was married to her ex for 12years or so...

Vicjustice:
It is not a bad idea if you decided to make a point by tendering a 12 months bank statement, that is allowed: ensure that you are able to justify the multiple lodgement.
I have the proof of where the other money came from, I've printed my company statement of account for the months in the past where I transferred huge sums into my personal account And any other huge sum, all the evidence and everything is ready, my only issue is this 3million I just transferred,I don't know what they take into consideration before calling it money lodgement... Is it the time between when I transferred the money and when I apply or is it the history of the statement of account? I also have the company statement of account that shows that the money came from my company account into my personal and this money is my company complimentary vacation money to me or travel allowance, whichever is best to describe it.
TravelRe: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by TatPat: 9:02am On Jul 26, 2016
Vicjustice:
You asked how you can explain to ECO that it is not money lodgment, but as a matter of fact that action alone is the exact definition of money lodgment.
Well, if the three million Naira that you transfeed does not make the majority of the fund in your bank statements, then it should be fine. But if it makes a significant part of the amount in your account, then I will advise that you cancel your intention until after 6 months when you must have built up transactions upon the N3000000 so you can produce the statement that will not show the origin of the three million naira
I was thinking of submitting a one year statement so they can see the last annual salary, the money that has entered my account within this one year is about 16.5million naira, in my account history I have had huge sum of money like 5mill,2mill, 6mill and so on enter my account, so this 3mill isn't the first huge amount entering my account, I just felt they will look at the history of my account before determining if it's money lodgement or not, my account has a very good financial standing, the history is very good, so right now I'm just confused cos I don't know if they will still term it as money lodgement after seeing how good the history of my account has been for the past one year, even the 6months history is very good too but I thought of submitting one year so they can see my last annual salary.

The application May not fly, if you would listen, start running your account for the next 6months, transfer your Salary into the same account for the next 6months, You can start this month so that you would have 5 months left but make sure it's directly transferred from ur company's account to the preferred account inform of July 2016 Salary, work towards having 800k- 1M in the 6th month so once ur set come back here for the next step. Make sure you read the forum everyday for the next 6 months, it wil help ur future

application
Okay thanks, I'll do just that.

askari01:
Was there no fund in ur account prior when u transferred the 3million into ur account? Did u transfer to your salary account? What ws ur account balance before the transfer?
First of all, I don't pay myself a monthly salary, I pay myself annually but not into this acct.. I also pay myself an allowance like every 2months on the account I'll be using to apply for the visa,
There was funds in the account but this account is what we use for the house upkeep and anything spending so if I put 100k there today, it can finish in two days, it's a very very active account, transactions every day, I had about 10k balance before I transferred the 3mollion and in the past I've also sent 5million from my company acct to this same acct.

Good morning, My question goes to justwise,vicjustice,worry359,Askari01 and ALL the gurus in the house... I just transferred 3million naira from my company acct to my savings acct for the trip I'm planning to the uk with my wife, I'm about to book for an appointment tomorrow, please how do I explain to the Eco that this isn't money lodgement and what evidence can I show? Thanks for your responses.

justwise:
Ok i get it now...

Mentioning the test is the least of your concerns here, the most important things here are to present a convincing tie to Nigeria and prove that you are capable of sponsoring the trip.

1. You need to present your savings/personal account and company's account.

2. Tax certificate for the company and registration papers

3. Marriage certificate and family pictures(including your kids since you have one from her previous marriage)

4. Breakdown of your expenses for the trip and what both of you will be doing while in the UK

-Your Wife -

1. Her British passport

2. Employment letter and leave letter

3. Salary account and payslips(6months at least)

4. Divorce paper .

Use the blank space in the form to explain that you will be sponsoring the trip AND who will be in custody of the child from her previous marriage while both of are away.
Thank You Very Much Justwise! I really appreciate, I'll come back here in a week to give an update, God bless you!!!

Exactly my point! I don't want them thinking I'm running away because I'm clearly not having such plans so I don't know if I should inform them about the test I wrote since they have my biometric already and I wouldn't want to come across as a dodgy person... Yes my wife is British, she was married to her ex for 12years.
So my questions are... Should I mention the test in my cover letter? How do I convince the ECO that I'm genuinely visiting and not trying to run away, would the three million naira be enough to show the Eco and would transferring the money from my company account be termed lodgement and lastly, should my cover letter be written on my company letter headed paper? ... Thank you justwise for taking your time out to understand me and replying.

That is an interesting part..so basically your wife is British as a result of her previous marriage?

Divorced and got the paper?

In that case she does not need a visa and will only focus on convincing the ECO that she is not running away with you to the UK hence your concerns?

Sorry that i'm picking this bit by bit..just want to make sure that we are on the same page.

You did not answer the first question.

Are you sponsoring the trip or your wife is contributing as well?
The IELTS was one of the requirement for the spouse settlement visa that I wanted to apply for early last year but plans changed when my spouse reached an agreement with her ex husband on the custody of their child they have together and she also got a good job in Nigeria so we decided not to relocate until her contract expires, so I didn't apply for the spouse settlement visa again

2)Yes, I'll be sponsoring the trip and I plan on transferring three million naira from one of my company acct to my personal account to sponsor my wife and I. There is a consistent record on my statement which shows transfers from this company account to my personal acct for years now.
