Rochas is on point. I wish the FG will start to make such publications because there are many projects that are awarded and rewarded several times without accountability.

Within the past few years the East West road in the Niger Delta has been awarded to different contractors by different governments, yet the road is a death trap till now. From OBJ to Yaradua and now GEJ, till date we dont know how much was paid and what % of job done. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY if you ask me...

The Second Niger bridge project was announced to have been awarded by OBJ, then Yaradua awarded the same contract and now GEJ is awarding the same contract again. WE NIGERIANS ARE DUMB, WE DESERVE THE KIND OF LEADERS WE HAVE IN THIS COUNTRY...

From this list now I know the truth about the 4 road projects Rochas is constructing in my village. We were told they stopped work bc of the rainy season, some contractors said they were never paid any money. But from this list now I know the contractors has been lying all along. IF THE CONTRACTOR GIVE US SUB STANDARD ROAD WE WILL MAKE THEIR LIFE MISERABLE. THIS MUST BE ENCOURAGED AT FEDERAL LEVEL. Kudos to Rochas

Sometimes these contractors can be problematic .they just want to collect money and pocket witout doing wot d money was meant for or at most doing a shoddy job check out akpajo eleme road dat was fixed three weeks ago it has gone back to its normal state like natin was done there by this time next year d place will be worse dan it was before it was fixed last month apart from Julius Berger nd few others most of these contractors have no business fixing roads for us.some of them deserve to be shot on the eye for the kinda jobs they execute. Abagworo: I seem to disagree with Rochas on this one. It is one of the dangers of populist government. These contractors could be made enemies of the people by this publications. I don't know if there's any law against this act. I can just call the contractor handling my village roads and threaten him.

Ok, so let's look at things objectively here; something that most forumites here are refusing to do because they have been blinded by their own bigotry. If there is no more room/landing space at the international airports in Abuja and Lagos, then some international airlines must be redirected to other international airports within the country. I mean, it does not go any other way. All airports around the world including Nigeria have a maximum landing capacity. Once that capacity has been reached, other airports must be utilized.

Can you imagine if all foreign airlines flying into america all wanted to land at JFK international airport in New York and Dulles international airport in washington DC only? Don't you think that after a while, some requests for landing space will have to be denied if there is too much congestion at these airports while other airports around the USA barely have any traffic?

I mean sometimes, Nigerians must learn to put aside tribal sentiments and see things from an unbiased point of view. Are you aware that planes can crash into each other and cause fatalities if an international airport is too congested and landing spaces are not sufficient? When that happens, the same Nigerians will come on nairaland shouting and blaming the government and corruption.

It seems most Nigerians don't know what they truly want. As a people you complain when your leaders are not working and you complain when they are working. Isn't that pathetic? Lastly, am I the only one noticing that northern leaders never have anything good to say about this current administration and her leaders all because they (northerners) are currently not in aso rock? I didn't see northern leaders complaining bitterly over every little thing when Yaradua was president and went missing in action leaving Turai his wife at the helm of Nigeria's affairs. Nigerian leaders and her followers cannot seem to agree on anything nowadays but then wonder why you have sections of the country that are looking to secede from Nigeria. Sigh GBAM

You must ask more specific questions to get proper answers. Most south west folks would tell you Fashola is the best and so on. But you must ask for real developement index to get the facts. For example, how can someone even put Oshiomole in the list of 5 performing governors in Nigeria. There is a big difference between a governor with promise and a performing governor. Oshiomole is a governor with a lot of promise and he is comign up, but to compare him with people like Akpabio and Fashola and Chime is very absurd. Same goes for Rochas. He is an upcoming with a lot of promise. People come here and tell youu he has constructed a lot of roads in one year. How many serious roads can you construct in one year? That is the propaganda you see all over Naija. Rochas is a very promising guy and he is doing well, but he is still way way off for you to place him in that bracket. You cant just roll out bulldozers on the streets and then claim you have already constructed a serious road just like that. It takes a lot of time and planning. So I urge you to somehow rephrase your question to specifics else you will keep getting funny answers.
