mu2sa2: Gej is so corrupt he is concealing his wealth by refusing to declare his assets publicly (hiding something and dont give a damn about it). How can we declare any of his predecessors most corrupt when we dont know how much Gej has stolen?

PoliticsRe: Nkiru Slyvanus: Police Arrest 16 Suspects by tawa89(f): 3:26pm On Dec 20, 2012

truth4meal: A source at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission told SaharaReporters that he was not aware that the anti-corruption agency had opened any investigation into Mr. Orubebe’s land deals or other financial activities. “As far as I know, the EFCC is not investigating Elder Orubebe,” said the source, adding that the agency was unlikely to act “unless the Presidency specifically orders us to go after him.

PoliticsRe: North Set To Shoot Down New Petroleum Industry Bill by tawa89(f): 12:07pm On Dec 19, 2012
Very soon this thread will degenerate to tribal fiasco these northern leaders are speaking like they are fighting for d common man on the streets of kano zaria sokoto and d rest while we all knw that they are fighting for their pocket wot of the likes of danjuma, IBB and abdulsalami that own oil blocs how have they impacted on the lives of poor northerners wot have they done for almost 10million almajiris in their region only IBB's stolen wealth cn take care of these almajiris they scream marginalization when oil money stops flowing into their pockets .What of the niger delta leaders? How much of this 13% derivation gotten to the poor owners of these oil ? Apart from one or two governors others are only interested in enriching themsleves more they whip up tribal and religious sentiments whenever it suits them. Bloody thieves! All of them. I wish the youths of this country will wake up and realize that these so called northen or southern leaders don't give a f.uck about them I can't wait for the day the day igbo yoruba hausa youths will rise above tribalism and realize who our enemies are and take back our country from them. I don't see the difference between Peter Odili T.A Orji oyinlola Fayose and other northern govs.they are all THIEVES.
RomanceRe: My White Wife Wants Me To Dump And Forget My Wife And Children In Nigeria by tawa89(f): 10:25pm On Dec 17, 2012
Princess1982: I have no sympathy for the white wife she knew what she was getting herself into before she did the deed but now she wants to change her position in the matter. If you lie and scheme to keep a man then you deserve what you get when he leaves you. However I feel sorry for all the kids involved and the Nigerian wife they are all the innocent this woman stayed in Nigeria raising your kids alone with hopes that her husband was making a better life for her family while all along you had started a new family. You owe your first wife the truth she deserves the truth.
true talk. I would have castigated the OP if he lied to the white women but he didn't , this white woman was privy to the information that the OP was married legally yet she took advantage of his precarious situation at that moment to marry another woman's husband she deserves no sympathy at all my only problem with the OP is why he agreed to have kids with her

Mynd_44: This is how we should know you are an idîot. If a man gave you a gun and tells you to shoot him that he does not mind, does that stop you from getting arrested for murder if you shoot and he dies?

You broke the law of the country you separately wanted to be a citizen of and you should be in jail
your holier than thou attitude disgust me . Quit feeling like you are perfect. the OP presented a problem all u ve done is to insult him without proffering any solution @OP people make mistakes no1 is perfect the deed has bin done already I think u should sit her down and talk to her let her know you are not going to forget ur family in Nigeria I don't think she will prefer to raise her kids without the father featuring in their lives .Good luck
RomanceRe: Have Your Ever Dated A Possessive Partner ? by tawa89(f): 4:39pm On Dec 17, 2012
megareal: God! that was the most terrible time in my life. The guy I never dated was over possessive. I said no to his advances over a hundred times but he claimed I was his wife and still pestered me. He'll come to the hostel at odd hours just to find me. He never allowed me a minute rest. Will abandon his job and come to the lecture hall to sit in during lectures and harass my lecturers if they so much as looked at me. He flooded my corner with gifts I never wanted. He came to my house during the holidays to peep into my room over the fence in the middle of every night! My mum once poured hot water on him thinking he was a thief. He called my guy up in Lagos and told him to leave me that I was preggers for him and this is a guy I never slept with for even a day o. He threatened any man he saw with me, from colleagues to friends. He labeled me his woman on campus and no amount of explanation made people to believe I had nothing to do with him. The whole thing was a big nightmare. Detaching him from my life was like trying to detach a leech from your flesh without using salt. Finally I gave him the greatest showdown of all times, I called some bad boys on him but not before he ruined the relationship I had (though I don't regret it one bit). When I finally got him out of my life, he went to a babalawo to make juju for me not to marry. His friend reported the thing to me and I almost committed murder that day. Thank God I'm now married and the nonsense is behind me. Now I hear he still visits churches for pastors to pray for me to accept him. The guys was and is still loco.

PoliticsRe: In Your Own Views, What Actually Is Nigeria's Problem? by tawa89(f): 9:08pm On Dec 16, 2012
shymexx: Zik being a true nationalist is the biggest lie ever told... I used to be a big fan of the man when I was into Pan-Africanism, being that he was the only famous "Pan-Africanist" from Nigeria... However, after reading more about the guy - personally, I think he single-handedly destroyed the little hope Nigeria had at independence...

He was more of an opportunist and a snake, trust me... I can post some of the things he did on this thread if you want... This man even betrayed his own people during the war just to save himself and his investments in Lagos... Zik was a fraud!

I don't rate snakes, I'm sorry..
I don't think there is anytin u will post here that can diminish the respect that zik commanded. The only crime he committed was that he supported equity and fairness in place of mediocrity and tribalism. Nnamdi Azikiwe is not even respected as much as Ojukwu in igboland buh he is the only Nigerian dat is in mould of Nkrumah and Mandela
PoliticsRe: In Your Own Views, What Actually Is Nigeria's Problem? by tawa89(f): 7:54pm On Dec 16, 2012
shymexx: The colonial masters forced you together in 1914... However, you had a chance to undo that in 1959 but the greed of certain people didn't allow you to... Blame your founding fathers for that, not the colonialists... Personally, I think Nnamdi Azikwe laid the foundation for what Nigeria is today - he was the Judas Iscariot who sold everyone out... The rest were open with their tribalism and principled, however, Zik was treacherous...

Realist and most objective post I ever made!1
I'm not a fan of Zik buh I think u are bin unfair to him.Zik was the only one that wanted Nigertia to succeed he was a true nationalist he believed in Nigeria and African continent Awolowo and others were mere local champions/tribalists

Sincere 9gerian: Thank you for your comment. Your diagnosis is spot on. Nigeria's problem is structural. But are we ready to make the necessary changes? I dont think so. Any attempt to re-structure Nigeria will be fiercely resisted by the north.
who is this north dat we all are afraid of? We need to stop clamouring for a National Sovereign Conference and start working to make it a reality . I have an idea we can get atleast 20million signatures of Nigerians calling for a national sovereign conference and see wot happens mayb people like Falana and other activists can take it up from there . If we hold this conference and everybody decides to restructure apart from the north they will be asked to peacefully break off from our country.we can't continue like this

We need to go back to regionalization .This system of government has failed us but we keep trying to make it work wit no or negligible success.Decongest the centre, make the members of our National Assembly to be on part time and be given allowance per sitting each region will develop their region and remit some percentage to d centre wit all these development will be competitive and even . We have to change our system of government if we don't do this even if u put pope benedict xii as commander in chief he will still fail us
