You see, for every reason you give why marrying for money is wrong, you can give the same for every other reason why people get married

We are both saying the same thing...marrying for one reason is wrong and too basic. A good blend is healthier. And I don't believe love is the be all end all.....personally I even rank loyalty a bit higher than love. Love ebbs and flows....loyalty and sense of responiblity should be a constant from both sides. If not, marriage should be scrapped or redefined. Let's just make it a 5 year renewable contract since we want to make everything transactional and stop deceiving ourselves.

Yes it is warped to feel okay when I am being appreciated for money alone. And I am sure a well balanced woman will feel insulted to be told she is being appreciated for her body alone. It happens often doesn't mean we should accept it as the norm. So....once she meets someone richer she leaves? there will always be a richer guy sooner or later....even bill gates gets overtaken from time to time.
For God's sake...we are not animals..our desires should run deeper and should be more nuanced than just hopping from partner to partner with the same pattern our company stocks rise and fall with.
