Foreign AffairsRe: The Trayvon Martin Murder Case by TayoD1(m): 3:38pm On Apr 03, 2012
@A.D.M.,

What a $tupid comment.
This statement does not make your argument any more plausible. Can you disagree without being diagreeable? Just try!!!

George Zimmerman was an innocent man defending himself?
That is his story, which by the way was corroborated by eye witnesses. The Police must have believed him to release him after 5 hours of intensive interrogation. It's note-worthy that he didn't plead the fifth nor ask for a lawyer during this interrogation. By the way, what has happened to our justice system that presumes inocence until proven guilty?!

He was the one that followed Trayvon Martin after the 911 dispatcher told him not to. He's the one that approached the boy.
He followed the boy quite alright (and that is what vigilantes do in their communities), but who approached is still a matter to be determined. According to Zimmerman, he was on his way back to his truck when Trayvon approached him. This is something that the justice system will need to prove one way or another and it is irresponsible to jump to conclusion that is not proven as yet.

And audio forensic experts have said the voice that is screaming for help is not the voice of a man in his late 20s, but a teeanage boy.
Did the expert say it was the voice of Trayvon for sure? So you expect people's voice to remain the same in a life and death struggle. Don't let people play on your intelligence here.

As for the video of George in the police headquarters, there was no blood on George. None. Not on his clothes, not on his face, not on the back of his head. If your nose is broken, it will bleed like crazy and you'll need multiple bandages. There were none. And since George claimed Trayvon was on top of him and shot him at close range, wouldn't Trayvon's blood be on his clothes? He wasn't even taken to a hospital.
You are going to town with outdated facts. ABC News have now admitted that the video they are showing was taken only after Zimmerman was cleaned up after seeing a Doctor. They admit there was indieed a gash on his forehead and that the Police report indicate same. Obviously, these networks have worked people like you into a frenzy based on innacurate information and yet you will not back down and wait for all the info to come out.

It's also known that George called the cops 46 times since January 2011 about suspicious figures aka black males.
It is also known that Trayvon was into drugs! My point being what has that got to do with this case?

Turns out they lived in the same neighborhood George lived in. And all Martin was doing at that time was talking to his girl on his cell phone, which I hope will be released soon, with a bag of Skittles and a can of iced tea. Those are the facts of this case. Look it up yourself. And yes, NBC did distort the tape by removing a comment Zimmerman made about Martin. I'm not saying he should be executed.
As I've proved to you earlier, you are the one venting over inaccurate information. Not only did NBC doctor the tape, ABC did the same. Both are now just admiting that fact. It's funny how the edits are geared towards a particular agenda. Never mind that their agenda may end up destroyin the life of an individual who may yet be justified by the criminal justice system.

What I'm saying is this case should be in a court of law ASAP.
And what I'm saying is that our justice system resumes innocence until one is proven guilty. The Police have interrogated this guy extensively and have no reason to think he was lying. That is part of the procedure. Let it work itself out and stop putting unnecessary presure on people who know how to do their jobs.

What the hell does the Duke Lacrosse case have to do with this case? You're making a ridiculous strawman argument and comparing apples to bok choy. What are you, Jesse Lee Peterson? Why the hell should Al Sharpton apologize when he was NOT involved in that case? As for the claim they were targeted because they're white, that is so laughable. Prove it. Don't use Fox News as a source. As for President Barack Obama, so what if he made a comment about this case? Presidents in the past have made comments about local cases that become national news.
All these cases bear the same mark. Presume the white party is guilty before the end of an investigation. Obama had to have a beer summit to walk back his lack of judgement and I believe he has shown same here by interjecting himself into the situation. The Republicans also paid dearly for it when they interjected themselves in cases they had no business with such as the Sarajevo case.

Also, the fact that you think no one black is paying attention to black-to-black crime is funny because I can create a dossier refuting that. As for black-to-white crime, your claim is false because the overwhelming majority of crimes are intraracial. You seriously need to step away from Fox.
Everything I have mentioned are based on facts and I will prove that to you with real numbers. As I have said before though, you have been fed a bunch of misinformation by people with an agenda. They have sent you to town with the talking point that it is another case of white on black crime ignoring that the overwhelming murder on blacks were commited by blacks. They ignore that Zimmermann is half hispanic because it is an inconvenient fact. I bet you that there would have been no outrage about this incident if Zimmerman was black. That is what pisses me off about this whole incident!
Foreign AffairsRe: The Trayvon Martin Murder Case by TayoD1(m): 2:00pm On Apr 03, 2012
@topic,

I understand the rush to judgement by y'all, but can you just chill till all the facts come in before you start prosecuting Zimmerman? Besides, more facts are coming out among which is the one which proves that NBC doctored the 911 tape they released. ABC News too has admitted that the video they released and their comentary was misleading.

What happened to Trayvon is a tragedy but the tragedy is compounded if the society collectively destroys an innocent man who was only trying to defend his community and his life from imminent danger.

I am also reminded of the Duke Lacrosse case where the same susects came out to destroy the lives of some kids simply because they were white. They played the lady (Black skinned woman) as the victim but history has now proven otherwise. Up till tomorrow, I have not heard any apology from Sharpton and his ilk regarding the damage they did to those boys' future. The criminal justice system needs to be allowed to play out. Making this political is unwise. Even Obama got himself involved with this even though he paid a political price the last time he waded into such a case.

If we are outraged, let us be outraged by all murders. The Black on Black murder rate and the Black on White murder rate keeps rising while White on Black murder rate keeps falling. I don't take serious outrages that have political undertones and this one smells to high heavens.

Foreign AffairsOther Essential Benefits For Obamacare by TayoD1(op): 1:30am On Mar 13, 2012
By ALLYSIA FINLEY

Dear President Obama,

Can you believe the nerve of employers? Many of them still seem to think that they should be allowed to determine the benefits they offer. I guess they haven't read your 2,000-page health law. It's the government's job now.

That's a good thing, too. Employers for too long have been able to restrict our access to essential health services like contraception by making us pay some of the bill. Really, it's amazing that we aren't all dead. Now, thanks to you, we'll enjoy free and universal access to preventative care just like workers do in Cuba. Even so, there are still many essential benefits that the government must mandate to make the U.S. the freest country in the world.

• Fitness club memberships. Most doctors agree that exercising is one of the best ways to prevent disease. However, gym memberships can run between $240 and $1,800 per year. Such high prices force us to choose between exercising and buying groceries. While we could walk or jog outside, many of us prefer not to. Therefore, employers should be required to pay for workers' gym memberships. Doing so might even reduce employers' health costs, which is why many companies already subsidize memberships. Those that don't are limiting our freedom to exercise.

• Massages. Stress raises the risk of heart disease, obesity, depression and a host of other maladies. About one half of Americans say they're stressed, and studies show that health costs for stressed-out workers are nearly 50% higher than those for their chilled-out counterparts. According to the Mayo Clinic, a great way to reduce stress is to get a massage. However, since few of us can afford massages, it is imperative that employers be required to cover weekly massage treatments or hire in-office masseuses. Think of the millions of new jobs this mandate will create in the therapeutic field, too.

• Yoga classes. Like exercise and massage, yoga reduces stress and can relieve back pain, osteoarthritis and even menopausal symptoms. Yoga is also one of the best exercises for pregnant women since stress raises the risk of birth defects, which in turn increase health costs. While we could practice yoga with the aid of a DVD or Web video, classes offer social benefits that enhance our psychological well-being.

• Coffee. Studies show that coffee can ward off depression, Alzheimer's disease, type 2 diabetes and sleepiness—which makes it one of the most powerful preventive treatments. Workers who drink java are also more productive and pleasant. While many offices have coffee makers, some employers—most notably those affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—continue to deny workers this essential benefit. All employers should have to provide workers with freshly brewed coffee. Oh, and workers must also be able to choose the kind of coffee regardless of the price.

Republicans might argue that requiring Mormon charities to serve coffee is a violation of "religious liberty" since the Mormon church's doctrine proscribes coffee, but this argument is a red herring. Leading medical experts recommend drinking coffee. Moreover, 99% of adults have drunk coffee at one point in their lives (including most Mormons).

• Salad bar. Studies also show that eating a lot of salad helps people maintain a healthy weight, which is key to preventing diabetes, heart disease and hypertension. Admittedly, mandating that employers include a free salad bar in their cafeterias would primarily benefit healthy eaters (women like myself) and raise prices for workers who subsist on junk (most men). However, such a mandate is necessary to expand our access to healthy food. Nanny-state conservatives who oppose this mandate merely want to ban salad and control what we eat.

Republicans may complain that these suggested mandates represent an unconstitutional expansion of federal government power. However, I'm sure Attorney General Eric Holder, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and your political adviser David Axelrod could produce a legal memorandum explaining why they are necessary and proper to promote our general welfare (and of course, your re-election).

Besides, if you can justify a mandate on individuals to buy health insurance, this should be a piece of cake.

@dayokanu,

Michelle Bachmann has to be the most ridiculous politician in American history

Watching her on Piers Morgan right now and she barely answered any question, Just coined her own question and answered it the way she wanted
You know that could be a good strategy these days where we know the press has got their own agenda. Gingrich has shown how best to deal with these folks sometimes by reframing the questions to something relevant. You've got to thread carefully when you are in enemy territory because all they are trying to do is trip you up.

Body,Soul and Spirit are still together, hence we thank God.

I will chastising myself if I weigh heavily on you if you don't vote tomorrow. Afterall, I missed the MN caucauses as well. Anyway, I am on my way to Madison (relocating in a few weeks), so I am more interested now in making sure we retain our action governor there. MN is a lost cause! lipsrsealed

And oh, please disregard the previous statement I made in regards to voting for Mr Obama due to displeasure with the GOP alternatives . . . I was obviously on something that day events of the last few weeks have certainly set me straight.
I swear to God that I believed someone hacked into your account when I read that. Welcome home.

@army,

how can a child be born out of abortion? Tayo, enlighten me here or you was it typo?
Did you read the second part of my statement for clarification?  I said a cjhild that survives an abortion attempt.  As you know, the aim of abortion is to murder the child.  Obama said an additional Doctor should not be brought in to care for a viable child that survives an abortion (homicide) attempt.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Would Be Obamas Opponent In 2012 by TayoD1(m): 4:49am On Mar 05, 2012
@Kay-Dee,

No, Im saying Santorum took something Obama said and created an 'insane' version of his own.
The issue here is not about misquoting Obama. The issuse here is if Santorium is crazy (as Pres-elect suggested) because he essentially hold the same position as Obama regarding college education.

The Pro-life and Pro-abortion debate is one i wont get into because a million different people will have a million different opinions about it; from when life begins (@ conception, @ birth, @ . . . . . ) to "if a woman is r.a.ped . . . . . ", to blah blah blah . . . .
Who is talking about just the regular abortion (the holy grail of the left). I am talking not about a foetus but a child that is born out of abortion. Obama said a child that can survive after an abortion attempt should not get the proper care to survive from an additional Doctor.

The repubs are all hateful liars
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Would Be Obamas Opponent In 2012 by TayoD1(m): 1:52am On Mar 05, 2012
@Kay-Dee,

Obama made it clear that by "higher education", he didnt mean only 4-year colleges  but also community colleges and anywhere you can acquire any type of formal training and he will not force everyone to go off to college but he will just  make it affordable for anyone who dreams of it. (Its just about providing the opportunity).

Santorum knows this but its in his habit to cook up unpleasant lies and stories that will sound sweet to the conservatives he's trying to appeal to
Are you saying that Obama shares the same view point as Santorium? What the heck!! Does that mean that Obama too is insane or are we to judge him by another standard?

And by the way, you didn't address the fact that I said Obama is the radical here who throws his weight behind infanticide, or for lack of a better term, infant homicide!!!

@Pres,

First of all I didn't call Reagan a fool. I said he was very foolish. I know English is not your first language but there's a difference between the two statements.
Story, story. I know english is your first language which is why I find it ironic you don't understand the context in which you made the accusation. You used a noun to describe the people you were comparing Reagan to, even though you used an adjective for Reagan. I took the liberty to use the noun because you didn't mean to refer to Santorium and Gingrich as behaving insanely but as insane.

Yet he was not a mad man. There were a lot of wackos in the GOP but there has never been a time like now when the wackos are at the top. I really pity John boehner. Such a gentleman has had to deal with this nonsense.
Keep your pity to yourself. Pay more attention to your Party and the radicals leading it. You have a Party leader (Obama) who said killing babies via abortion is not enough. He sponsored a legislation asking that a second doctor should not be allowed in an abortion to help save a child who survives the abortion. As a matter of fact, he said those babies must be killed because the mothers didn't intend for them to be alive. Who is the radical here?

Santorium based his campaign on folly. How can someone be against college education. That Obama is a snob bc he tried to encourage Americans to get an education. And that is just one case.
Is that all you have to say to call him mad? I do agree with Santorium that everybody cannot go to college and that we have to pay equal attention to community colleges and trade schools. There are moves now to make it more difficult for those trade schools to function and that is what Santorium is against. Stop spreading lies and propaganda that do not exist. Santorium is not against college education.

Gingrich, oh boy. Even republicans know he's unfit for anything and they fired him when he was their speaker.
He is unfit and yet the only House Speaker who balanced the budget 4 years in a row. Can you tell me if anyone else has achieved such a feat in your lifetime?

And pls lets not talk of Reagan. The economic fart he released is still smelling.
I have asked you a simple question. What was the unemployment rate at the time Reagan became president and what was it when he handed over? Same question regarding taxes. These are facts that can be verified and I'll appreciate if you will publish the numbers here so uninformed people can see for themselves who is really farting from both sides of their mouths.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Would Be Obamas Opponent In 2012 by TayoD1(m): 5:54am On Mar 03, 2012
@pres-elect,

You did not answer my question on why you think Gingrich and Santorium are wackos and yet you go ahead to call Reagan a fool. Typical leftist strategy, cover up your outrageous accusations with an even greater accusation to distract from your previous accusation.

Please tell me, what was the tax rate when Reagan became President and what was the rate when he handed over? Was there a net increase or decrease in the tax rate or not? He inherited a recession from your liberal President and turned it around by conservative principles creating millions of jobs in the process. It's unfortunate that Obama will not learn from the blue print that Reagan showed practically to have worked.

@armyofone,

it is clear that Romney is leading. what are the rest waiting for? isn't it abt time they drop out and give him full support? why wasting airtime
It'll be a different ball game altogether if one of Santorium or Gingrich drops out at this point. What that means is that the other votes that are split at this point will be consolidated against Romney. This race is far from over. Watch out for a rejuvenated Gingrich!!!

they wont likely vote for wackos like newt or santorium.
I am curious, what makes these two wackos? Are they any more wacko than Ronald Reagan was potrayed and yet won in a landslide?

@JeSoul,

Anyways . . . Trump's endorsement doesn't mean much, at all.
Abeg speak for yourself. There are rumors that Trump claimed responsibility for Mitt winning with such a high margin in Nevada. I tell yah, the only thing bigger than Trump's mouth is his ego!!!

Newt shouldn't worry though, he has Herman Cain's support . . . birds of the same feather will always flock together.
grin grin grin That's a punch below the belt! But grin grin grin grin anyway!!

Hmmm . . . we must both be watching different Santorums. The one I have been seeing
Actually, based on the last debate in Florida, Santorium did better than all others. He was there with a good command of the facts and dished it out in full to both Romney and Newt. If he's been like that from the start, he would be doing better today in the polls. Debate aside though, he is the closest thing to a true conservative of the lot.

. . . in a debate, Obama will eat him for lunch, crack, chew & then spit out the bones
This Obama debating skills is highly overrated. The bobo no smart like that jo. All his opponent needs to do now is make him talk specifics and not let him get away with the highfalutin language that is short of substance. That won him the election 3 years ago, but rubber don meet road now.
