WombRaiders: You foolish apc monkey
Al Makura mobolized a division of Mobile Police and the State SS to raid Eggon land but the Ombatse fought back and killed most of the security forces
Al Makura is a fulani settler trying to dislodge indegenes from Nassarawa to make way for his Fulani brothers that have been driven from Plateau, South Kaduna, Taraba and Benue
You. Ediots think that because you support that fascist party you will be immune from the latest Fulani land grab and genocide pogroms then you are really daft ostrichhs with your heads in the sand
I can't wait to see the SS and SE pull out and leave you with your slave masters
Ode Foolish nigga Most of you seat @ d comfort of your home and say what u don't know. Al- Makura is not a fulani settler, he is Gwandara nd if u don't know anything about these crisis, I suggest u keep quiet. It better that. NB. I witness all that happen today so I know what am saying. |

Ttalk: Yes i quite agree with you that large amount of catfish consumed in Abuja is being imported from, south, i.e., Lagos, Ibadan, Ogbomosho etc. Does that not explained my fear that catfish business is less profitable in the north? Or do we agree that there are limited fish farmers in and around abuja? As well as limited knowledge to manipulate production to maximise profit? Someone once told me dat Abuja consume about 50million Naria worth of fish weekly. I think that explain y fish has to be imported from the south, the same thing applies to my location Makurdi, Benue state, I know of a woman who usually buy a truck load of fish from Ibadan every week. The farmers in abuja nd environs can't meet up with d demand 4 fish, hence dre is need 4 importation locally. |

Mixed with Bambara .Fish oil can only be added for flavour purposes. My 2 months old fish will be starting 4mm local tororrow. Hence,I will be milling their feed tomorrow as well. I intend to use the following formula. Soya 20kg,,bambara 50kg,,GNC 20kg,,egusi 20kg,indomie 25kg,,Gala 20,local fish 20kg,broiler starter 25kg. 1 ltr of livtovit and a sachet of Aquapro. That's for 180kg. Thanks for the info sir, the bambara nut do we have to toast it or just grind it like that?I think I will like to use it, cos it available in my base. |

Agriculture › Re: Hidden Truths About Catfish Business!!! by Tbagwell1(m): 1:54pm On Aug 03, 2014 |
maaji: Good day guys. My names are abubakar Nasiru Suleiman. I have an interesting story to share. I reside at school at Abuja but I stay in nassarawa. My father is a retired custom officer. In 2009, he was introduced to cat fish business buy some guy. The guy convinced him to buy fish and breed. He told him how lucrative it was and every other sweet talk you know. He never told him so many key things he needed. So my father ignorantly decided to go into it. He established the pond in nassarawa, in a village called Toto. yes I mean a village(that’s his first mistake). He established 4 ponds. Each having the ability to carry nothing less than 3,000 fishes. But at a certain time, he converted one of the ponds to reservoir (because we were short of thanks. We they sell water). One faithful day, GBOAAAHHH,the pond just burst and all d water in it were over d place(thank god say person no dey there because as d pond break, d thin push water with blocks enter all our room. If to say person dey near d pond nkoh………but thank god sha). So remaining three ponds. Now he stocked 5000 fishes in the three ponds. When the man brought the fishes, they where tiny and could not be counted. But still he stocked them sha(we were still novice). So we feed them for almost 4 months. Just feeding them with food and no extra knowledge on anything. Now my dad, as a retired custom officer decided to use his PENSION, yes, pension money take invest in all these things. Now the house we stay is a big house. There is a pure water factory in it and there is good clean water. We encountered these problems Security—as important as it seems security brought us down. My step brother will always go into the pond, at night and steal the big ones and sell to different people at cheap rate (dat guy get mind ooo). Feeds --– we just dey buy food any how without knowing how many bags of feeds are we supposed to give them for that month. We later ventured into local feeds without knowing when and the time we were supposed to give them the local feeds. And again, I no know how my dad do am but him go buy corn, grinded fish, blood mean and d rest. Plenty ooo. We decided to mix them. We miss them with shovel sef.lol. My dad. He had plans but executed them terribly. So when we feed them with the local feeds we will see the feeds sink. then when we drain, we go see the feeds don dissolve for inside water. Dem no go eatam at all because we got the FORMULA all wrong. (I know that one now but its late already). Marketing----very important. As I was saying, he constructed the pond in nassarawa. Dose villagers no know d values of anything fish sef. Dem go dey prizam any how dem like. So we decided to carry dem to the next city which is Abuja. From that village to Abuja na 800 naira drive. We took the fishes there. Hmmmm. We sold it all sha. But it will shock you that after everything my dad said he spent 3.5million on everything but all he could get was 26,000 naira. Yes. U heard me twenty six thousand naira only. Now the man don dey broke like anything. Funny enough na now him con dey get the right information. When money no dey.lol After about 3 yrs. I did my i.t at ADP i.e agricultural dev project. I was taken to fishery dept. hmmmmm, I learned few things. I told my dad all I learnt like say make d man cry lol. He said he wished he knew all these, I simply told him say it happens to everyone. That’s life. Like this my guy said he lost 2m in just 2 and half years. the pond has been abandoned for 4 years, so as a zoologist and someone that did his industrial training at a fish pond, I want to make my dad’s dreams come through again. I want to go back and start again. I need help. I need advice. Am just a 400l final year student. I will soon write my exams. I won go do this business again. I don’t want to repeat all what my father did. I need help from any person. What I need to know entirely about fish farm. If una no fit do much typing, see my phone number and email. Nasman2010@yahoo.com 09096359394. Sorry about your dad's loss, I have a farm in Lafia, opp National open university jos road, call me on 08067929953. |

Most politicians on the northern agis, is fuel this evil in other to make Nigerians believe that the south, especially GEJ can't lead Nigeria. Because the fulanis (born-to-rule) are the only ones that can rule his nation better.

FlyboyZee: I hate when people ascribe blames to other people for their dilema and predicaments.
To me, its been a wonder how GUTA-M had survived up till now, when almost the whole HoA is PDP, except for 4 seats or so that are APC while he and his deputy are CPC and later APC. He caused the Umbatse Massacre by siding with his kith & kin, the Fulanis to kill and attack the Umbatse people by even deploring government security mechanisms on the Umbatse people, which in turn led to the massacre of the security personnel so deplored.
We should have all know that all is not well in that state, when the deputy decamped to the PDP and still remained the Deputy. Why are you all calling GEJ, does it mean that there are no ambitious politicians in Nassarawa State? Do you guys think the Speaker himself would not want to become Governor? For all it might be worth, the Deputy Governor might have instigated this in order to take the easiest of paths to becoming the Governor. GEJ never had any issues with GUTA-M and so why are you guys fingering him? If anyone has any proof or evidence that his ostensible ouster is being plotted by GEJ, then let him/her bring it forward or else, make una free Mr. President jooooo!!!!! You are drunk I swear and e say dem dey finger ur brain. |

robonski15: chairman the green eggs are good but the golden/light brown are better to me i prefer using them.. If u notice that there are some light brown catfish in colour not pure black, they tend to grow faster. Boss you spawn with females weighing 5kg? How do u manage to handle such broodstock for stripping considering the size.. I will prefer the male for that size because of the milt, but later changed my mind when i saw the tiniest milt twice in males above 4kg, i later realized its not by size.
www.agricnetwork.com That is d more reason y I prefer using fish weighing less dan 2kg for male is b'cos most of them usually have ds very tinny milt nd dark nd watery. As for stripping of d 5kg fish na 3 of us dey handle am. |
Agriculture › Re: Hidden Truths About Catfish Business!!! by Tbagwell1(m): 8:53pm On Jul 17, 2014 |
robonski15: Choose only male and female fishes that weigh above 1kg so that the fries will also grow into big fishes. some hatchers use brood stock of less than 1kg which is not good because the fries may tend not to grow well.
Make sure the male organ “crosses” and its pink at the dot end.
When pressing out the female eggs for “inspecting” choose only the female fish that have eggs that separate from each other and are golden in colour
make sure that the tummy of the female fish slightly protrudes out, when placed flat-faced down
Make sure that the outlet where the egg of the female fish will come out is slightly dark in colour.
www.agricnetwork.com Boss, thanks for answering this question, the brood stock I usually use to hatch are from 5kg above the females in particular, as for the male I use from 1kg -2kg, I ve also use 800gram male to hatch, it d same result I usually get. D eggs are sometimes green in nature. Boss am nt trying to say yhu are wrong. Thanks |
