It is only Nigeria we clamour for free education which actually exist on paper and not in reality hence the quality of graduates chunned out yearly be it private or public Uni. Yeah right! |

Truthfully, these things you listed here happen and it can be frustrating at times! But there are some things you as a lady dating a broke guy should know and do. First, you knew he is broke before going into a relationship with him cz you saw something other than money.. Why not focus on that and find other means to get money, you can start a business or just manage your allowance from your parents to maintain yourself. (you don't have to share that with if you're not cool with it)
The issue of buying things for your friends to impress them is so unnecessary, is it to get their approval to date you or what? I guess you're just trying to boost your own ego. Know his capability at that time you're asking him to buy things and still insisting shows you're not considerate and that will definitely cause fight cz he'll feel bitter about his status and it's a damage to his self-esteem and ego and you're not helping matters. What I do in situations like that is, whenever I have money, I'll buy things for my friends, what I know they'll appreciate, and tell them it's from my boyfriend. I'll tell him he's owing me and trust me, I always know how to get it back.
Another thing is a guy wey stingy as e broke go stingy if he get money! By stingy, I mean not sharing the little he has AT ALL.. Always saying he has plans!
If a guy is not lazy and things ain't just working yet, it's better. But if you're dating a student who is not working, my dear, na to just enjoy any other thing he has to offer or join the next train. All in all, A woman has got to be independent too! Work for yourself, spend money and live your financial life like you don't have a boyfriend, that way you won't think of his brokeness cz you're paying your own bills yourself!
Shout out to all the ladies dating broke guys! It's not easy mehn! |

ronald4lif: What's love?
I think you're being idealistic but the writer of the exegesis is realistic. Everyone wants their friends to have a positive impression of their partner, male and female alike. Parading anything otherwise is self-deceit and misleading.
Well, except for anyone who lives in isolation and seclude themselves from friends. Once you've got friends, to positively impress them is indispensable. This I believe you know very much. Yeah every girl wants that but before dating that guy, she knew he is broke.. Why bring up unnecessary expenses to impress your friends.. It's uncalled for! |

octopusfreaky: 25 is the best age for a lady to get married and i dont fnk a good woman will kontinue flirting at dat age. So OP, its better u surround yourself with good ladies. They are out dreee okay Modified Our mothers are to be blamed for the increase in 30+ unmarried ladies, Once a lady is 25 weda schooling or not, she should be able to make a priorities right except she wants to remain single. At ds stage, mothers should draw their daughters closer in love, direct them, encourage them and also pray for dem . Many still think there's still time. My aunt married at age 35 and the rate at which she's getting pregnant is scary She said she needs to be fast before she clocks 40 and also to avoid complications and stress. Cc-4C2215131 Wow! That's serious!! About blaming mothers, I support you on that but we can't put the whole blame on them as some ladies are still pulling those stunts mentioned above! |

Education › Re: Dirty Toilets At Unilag Hostels by Tbells91(f): 2:28pm On Apr 17, 2016 |
bloodyBLOGGER: I remember my days in LAUTECH, the school was/is a non-residential one. Student had to rent rooms in areas close to the campus. Areas like adenike, under G, yoaco, stadium, general etc became developed as individuals built nice student hostels in those areas. Majority of the buildings were self-con rooms costing as much as 120k and as low as 65k. All of that inspired yahooism and oloshoism in the school.
Well, at least the students didn't have to go through what the so-called mighty unilag students go through in terms of toilet, water and power.
Cc lalasticlala Abi o... Though some of us still want to feel the hostel life but that setting is just the best. I didn't pay more than 50k as rent and I was comfortable! |
