Not many people know what it really means to wait on God. I’ll try to explain it using how a waiter waits on guests at an upscale restaurant. The waiter ensures the guest sits comfortably then proceeds to take his or her order. The waiter then ensures the order is delivered promptly and exactly as specified by the guest.

Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 6:13, “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Having done everything you know to do before God, stand. Once you are serving Him, winning souls, following up on them, paying your tithes, giving your offerings, honouring Him with your first fruits and all else you know to do, according to His word, the only thing left is to stand. You are to wait on Him, asking “Lord, what else do you want me to do?”. The moment you get an answer, jump into action.

When those who wait on the Lord go to Him in prayers, they pray the way He would want them to: they pray His word back to Him. Since it is His word, He will answer it. They don’t pray only just when they feel like it; many times, they feel Him nudging them to pray even when they do not feel like. Those who wait on the Lord don’t seek their own pleasure in life; all they want is to please their Master. If God tells them, “I need all the money in your bank account for this project” they don’t hesitate; they drop the money immediately. They are always at His beck and call, willing and eager to do His bidding.

Now, when you have had a very good waiter attend to you at a restaurant, you are likely to drop a tip for the fellow. The tip that God gives you in return for waiting on Him, according to Isaiah 40:31, is that He will renew your strength. This means that sickness and even old age will not have power over you. He will become your doctor, taking care of you by Himself. Also, He will give you wings to fly like an eagle. In other words, you will be in a class of your own. Great men will call you great. You will excel so much in all you do that it will be difficult for anybody to beat your record. Commit to waiting on God from today, He rewards all those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

He endured the suffering,and the shame putting his Hope on God alone who is able to see HIM through

We as Christ followers are to follow that same example set down by our Lord and personal Saviour.
There are many verses that encourages us on our walk with Christ and the tribulations that follows.

Romans 12:12 " Rejoice in Hope, patient in tribulations,and constant in prayer."

John 16:33 " I have said this things to you that in Me ye may have peace. In the world ye will have tribulations; but take heart I have overcomes the World.

1 Peter 4: 12 " Beloved do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening bro you.

Romans 8:18 " For I consider that the suffering of this present times are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed upon us.


James 1:12 " Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when He has stood the test he will receive the crown of Life which God has promised to then that love him

My brothers and sisters, trials and tribulations are not signs that God has left you or abandoned you ,in fact it is a sign that you are ever close to God than you could ever be. Your period of trials means you should get closer to God than you ever had,by reading the word daily, praying consistently and preaching the word

Christ will never leave you as long as you cleave to him,if you have left the race due to frustrations, rejections, failures, setbacks, disappointments,marital delay or childlessness,please do not give up because Jesus Christ never and will never give up on you.

If you are a sinner,or you go to church ,you sing or even preach but deep down inside your conscience condemns you before God please do not hesitate to go down on your knees and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour,ask him to forgive you,tell Him to wash you with his blood,ask him to write your name in His book of Life,and ask Him to give you the grace to stay in His word.

Congratulations my dear you are now a new creature and your name has been written in the Book of Life. Get a Bible read and pray daily every morning at spare times and late at night before going to bed. Get or locate a Bible believing Church where Christ Jesus and His salvation and Holy living is the center of the message.

The Kano central senatorial seat has been awarded to Rufai Hanga,news coming from the proceedings have it that the Apex court have decided to give it to Rufai following the refusal of the declared winner Ibrahim Shekarau refusal to accept the mandate.

Ibrahim Shekarau claimed he was no longer a member of the NNPP and had moved back to the PDP,but the party (NNPP) refused to notify the electoral commission of the development before the substitution deadline. Hence Shekarau name still remained on the ballot till after the election. After results emerged giving Ibrahim Shekarau the victory. He refused the certificate of return and told INEC he was no longer a member of the NNPP and has no right or claim to the mandate awarded to him.
