The child, named by police as Raúl Antonio, was allegedly beaten in by his aunt and uncle till he showed no signs of life, in Ecatepec, in the suburbs of Mexico City, on Tuesday. MarÌa Guadalupe Tovar Hernández, 33, and Guillermo Delgadillo Becerra, 43, confessed to killing Raúl and dumping his tiny dead body on waste ground, a statement from Ecatepec police said.

The young boy had been abandoned by his mother and was then raised by his aunt and uncle — his two legal guardians.
According to his aunt, the boy had been living with them in the Guadalupe La Venta colony in Ecatepec, Mexico and she claimed that Raul had left the home and had not returned.
The couple originally reported Raúl Antonio as missing. Officials began investigating the couple when their original statements contained details that did not match.
The aunt and uncle on Wednesday admitted that Raúl Antonio was beaten the day before, as punishment for not knowing how to count to 10.
They revealed in their confession that they were beating him to discipline him. When Raúl failed to show signs of life, they realised he had died.
They then moved the body to an abandoned lot in Chapultepec, a neighboring town to Ecatepec.
Police in Ecatepec City investigated the location described by the couple where they found the lifeless body of Raúl Antonio, reports El Universal.
María Guadalupe Tovar Hernández and Guillermo Delgadillo Becerra have been detained by the authorities of Ecatepec and murder charges have been filed.
Physical punishment as a means to discipline children has become increasingly frowned upon by the international community.
The United Nations Committee on the rights of the Child called for ending physical punishment in 2006 stating that it "legalized violence against children" and it should be eliminated via "legislative, administrative, social and educational measures."

Arataca, Brazil. 29 year old Vanusia Silva Pereira was beaten, raped had a sugar cane rammed up her vagina. Apparently the victim was a drug user owned money to a local drug dealer. Autopsy reports suggest the woman suffered extreme violence before death, the findings arouse suspicion that this was a crime of passion. Shawwal moon has been sighted in the UAE and tomorrow (Thursday) is Eid Al Fitr, the UAE Moon Sighting Committee said.

Eid Al Fitr moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia also and tomorrow is the first day of Shawwal.

Kuwait, Jordan and Palestine will also mark Eid on Thursday.

But Oman announced that Shawwal moon has not been sighted and Eid Al Fitr will be marked on Friday.

Meanwhile, Eid Al Fitr moon has also been sighted in Japan and tomorrow is the first day of Shaawal.

Muslim scholars in Saudi Arabia appeared split on Tuesday on whether the end-of-Ramadan moon should be sighted on Tuesday, which marks 28 days of the fasting month.

Quoting Pakistan Meteorological Department, daily Express News reported on Tuesday that the chances of sighting the moon on Thursday are "extremely high in Sindh and Balochistan."

It said the moon would be clearly sighted in interior areas of Sindh including Hyderabad and Karachi. Chances of sighting the moon in Punjab on August 8 were 50 per cent.

Eid in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh is celebrated a day later.

An audacious man, Wati Holmwood, 33, stormed the field at ANZ Stadium and disrupted play wearing only a pair of sport shoes.

The rotund man was tackled to the ground by security officials after what seemed like minutes running around on the field.

Holmwood said he had to do a 10km walk of shame after being ejected from the Stadium.

It is understood Holmwood greased his body with vaseline-like substance making it difficult for him to be tackled by authorities.

His efforts landed him in Sydney's Auburn hospital, and the Telegraph reported he looked "dazed and confused" after checking himself out this morning.

"I'm sorry, I apologise about what happened," he said.

Holmwood was ordered to appear in court to face a charge of wilful and obscene exposure, and entering or remaining on the field of play without authorisation.

It is likely he will be banned from ANZ Stadium for life.

"It all happened so quickly, I don't know what was going through my head," he said.

"I just wanted to make it interesting but I stuffed up Origin. A lot of people hate me now."

In 2011 Holmwood was reportedly banned from drinking in public and from entering the Sydney Football Stadium after he jumped the fence during an NRL match between the Wests Tigers and the New Zealand Warriors.

A man has shocked Kigwandi Villagers in Nyeri County after he was caught yesterday evening having s*x with a hen.

Sources reveal that the 40 year old man was spotted by his 10 year old son defiling the hen and he alerted the elder brother who ambushed him during the 6 pm incident.

He reported the matter to their local Chief leading to his arrest.

According to acting, Nyeri OCPD, Joseph Mwika the hen belonged to the elder son. He had bought it with the intention of keeping it and sell eggs in order to have money for his personal use.

The father lured the chicken with maize and tied the mouth defiling it for a while before he was caught. Unfortunately the chicken died after it was brought to the police station as evidence. Mwika said that it was taken to the veterinary doctor for tests to establish the cause of its death.

The man who seemed unshaken insisted that the chicken was his and had the right to do whatever he wished with it. He is in police custody waiting to be arraigned in court to answer to bestiality charges.

There was drama in Kimangaru market in Embu after a woman was stripped naked for allegedly stealing Sh 1,100 from a man they were drinking together with in one of the pubs.

The 30 year old mother of two was known for her habit of entertaining men in various pubs in the region and had been spotted severally with different men.

According to an eye witness, Mike Murithi, who is a bodaboda operator in the center, the woman stole the money which was on the table after the man left to attend to a call of nature. The man returned and on discovering that the money was missing inquired but the woman vehemently denied to have stolen.

The man pleaded with her to return the money but she remained firm that she had not taken the money.

With the help of other drunkards they striped her naked and searched her for the money.

They undressed her one by one, frisked her whole body only for the money to be discovered hidden in her private parts. They threatened to beat her up but the bar owner pleaded with them to let her go as the embarrassment was enough lesson.
