Some people are considering the "consequences" of asking for updates on Twitter. They responded to a guy and you all saw the picture here on Nairaland where they made reference to the earlier "GMD said soon" post. You cannot be punished for requesting for updates on the recruitment.

See, the 2012 Applicants said they even had to contribute money to publish a newspaper article demanding for information on the recruitment. They did that and management had to yield to the pressure. See, we keep saying they will soon release it but their "soon" can be next year. Sometimes it takes some nudging for government organizations to act quickly.

We are only making them more likely to release it earlier by talking about it. Let's mount pressure on them.

Desperation is a disease. Don’t let it make you lose your opportunity. As far as I’m concerned, Nnpc has done the needful. I’m sure they need you as much as you need them so please!

Good afternoon sir, simply because you've had a negative experience in the past doesn't mean you've mastered life, I've had too. You can't be too certain when it comes to outcomes of events in life, don't speak too confidently about the future, asking people to move on without seeing the outcome of what they started is not practical, the least you can do is advice them to have plan B and Cs. you wouldn't have taken this advice from anyone back then, the last time i checked theres nothing unwise in awaiting outcomes. See the mistake you are making ehnnn... I'm not beyond the age and I'm also expecting bruh. But while expecting I got busy and my business makes me 150k per week on a slow week. I deal majorly agric products. I'm the number 1 supplier of a particular product to restaurants and eateries on the island of Lagos, I made my 1st million (net) while waiting for this same job. All these done while waiting for APL. Infact right now, I need 2 Keke drivers who will be ready to work and theh stand to make 3 to 4k per day each whike we work together. Success is not just when you are only successful but by how many people you have made positive impact on. Only then can you be called wealthy. I'm also a legal practitioner practising privately. If APL comes I will think long and hard before accepting it but I might accept it and if it doesn't give me time to run my business I will resign. However, even if I don't have anything doing I can tell you I will never live in fool's paradise by hoping if I think positivity enough it will bring APL or that if I curse people here very well APL will suddenly appear or also deceive myself that out of all these some people have not resumed work in the same NNPC, that way no court case affects them cos after all its not a public recruitment. U people don't know waz going on. Stop confusing reality with negativity. It's the country we live in. Nobody likes it, I hate it more than anyone here but 1 thing I will never ever do is lie to myself.

Only a rookie lawyer will hold the view the Plaintiff has a strong case. You certainly do not understand how discrimination works. Every organization can make laws regulating her activities provided such rules do not run fowl of the constitution. U can lay claims to discrimination in this instance when you are qualified but for reasons of sex,infirment of body, disability, you are prevented from continuing a process. Imagine a scenerio where 50yr olds can be GTs? The plaintiffs position cannot and will not pass the simplest legal scrutiny.

The only thing any genuine source will tell you is that go ahead has been given by GMD to conclude the process. Nobody will give you exact date for notifications.

I spoke with ss2 HSE staff at nnpc, he told me about the speculation of releasing apl this week or next. But asked if i have called another brother who works with HR nnpc? I said no but we exchanged Friday greetings via text. He directed i shall call him to confirm. I placed a call to him by 7:30pm and we spoke. I asked him about same speculation of releasing apl this week or next. He said is not true. His response:
" we just came out of meeting, i arrived home not past 20 mins. It may occur in December and may be January or February. Dont u know that we are even pursuing court case? mtsss (as in worried about the process) nothing for now i am telling you (he called my name) ". He prayed the best for me and i thanked him.

I like this apl pass i think, my promotion to same SS level i applied wt nnpc is due by Dec 03. Any date after Dec 03 i am just demoted. But we have to stick on the reality. As i have said, is hard for nnpc to shun court case, being BUHARI as the petroleum minister.
