The answer to these issues clearly points out who has already been humiliated! Western leaders know they have lost out and will lose more if they don’t negotiate now and end the war, but don’t know how to admit and come to negotiate without losing face and PR. So they want to make it look like they wish to negotiate so as not to humiliate who has already humiliated them!! Ukraine's foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba says "calls to avoid humiliation of Russia can only humiliate France and every other country that would call for it.


Ukraine's foreign minister has criticised Emmanuel Macron after the French leader said Russia must not be "humiliated" over the invasion of its neighbour.

In an interview with a regional newspaper, Mr Macron said: "We must not humiliate Russia so that the day when the fighting stops we can build an exit ramp through diplomatic means."


He added that he was "convinced that it is France's role to be a mediating power".

The president's comments come as Russia's invasion of Ukraine has passed its 100-day mark, with intense fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces in the Donbas region.

In response to Mr Macron, Ukraine's foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted: "Calls to avoid humiliation of Russia can only humiliate France and every other country that would call for it."

He added: "We all better focus on how to put Russia in its place".


Mr Macron has spoken to Russia's president Vladimir Putin a number of times on the phone in an effort to encourage negotiations between the two sides.

Russia is close to capturing all of Luhansk, one of two southern Ukrainian regions that make up the swathe of land known as the Donbas.

It has also escalated attacks around Bakhmut, a city in Donetsk, the other province that makes up the Donbas, the Ukrainian military said.

The attack targeted central Donetsk, killing at least five and wounding 20

The capital city of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) was subjected to heavy shelling by the Ukrainian military late on Saturday. Multiple districts of Donetsk came under almost simultaneous attack by the Kiev forces, which used howitzers and rocket artillery to target the city.

The city was hit by more than 40 rockets launched from BM-21 Grad systems, as well as by multiple 122mm artillery shells, according to local authorities. Footage from the scene shows the munitions exploding in residential areas of the city.


The attack inflicted damage on residential buildings and power lines, sparking fires and setting multiple cars ablaze, another video shows. At least 5 civilians have been killed in the attack, though with 20 more injured, local authorities said.


The shelling also damaged two schools and a local market, Donetsk Mayor Alexey Kulemzin said. In addition, the attack ruptured a high-pressure gas pipeline in the southwestern part of the city, according to the official.

If you studied “Government” in secondary school, you should remember this subtopic “forms of government” they are; democracy, monarchy, oligarchy…etc



What I’m trying to point out is that, each country have their own unique mode of governance. I mean what works for their society, democracy can’t work everywhere, just like we have different religions, it’s all about tolerance.

The reason why those inalienable rights you mentioned above are missing in Russia is simply because Russian isn’t a democratic state, same as China, it’s their way of life so you gotta respect that, you can’t castigate em because they don’t practice democracy.

Russia's defence ministry said on Saturday that its forces shot down a Ukrainian military transport plane carrying weapons and munitions near the Black Sea port of Odesa.
