Serves them right. Too much of Impunity and sense of entitlement! You already know how the rusty relationship between SOUTH Africans and Nigerians is, not to mention the saga that ensued between your daughter and their people.. Rather than return home, or look for another country to continue your life, ya'll went back to a country that openly declared their hatred for you. Enjoy! |

Like I earlier lamented, It is heartbreaking but unsurprising to see that 14 of those young girls are from Akwa Ibom state. This is the direct consequence of decades of failed leadership in a state that should be an economic powerhouse but instead produces some of the most impoverished and vulnerable citizens in Nigeria. For years, Akwa Ibom governors have prioritized road construction over job creation, industrialization, and human capacity development. They build roads that lead nowhere while their people roam those same streets in search of opportunities that do not exist. The state is rich in oil, yet its indigenes are forced to migrate to Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt to take on demeaning jobs, and in the worst cases, fall victim to human trafficking and prostitution. How can a state so blessed with human and natural resources consistently rank among the top in child trafficking and modern slavery? Because the leadership cares more about contracts than building a future for its people. Without industries, vocational training programs, or real economic empowerment initiatives, the youth are left with no options but to fend for themselves however they can. Until Akwa Ibom leaders wake up and prioritize the welfare of their citizens, this cycle of poverty, exploitation, and disgrace will continue. The people must demand better—because the alternative is an entire generation lost to suffering and servitude. Shame! |

Lanretoye:Mr. Lanre, I can see that your account was registered on December 19, 2010. Meaning, you're an elite member of this community. Please, let's be civil with our engagement. If you didn't understand the first comment that I made, you could have just asked for further clarification. Okay? |
Lanretoye:Not all comments are meant to be understood by everybody. You saw basic concept of Fluid Mechanics in my post, you still went ahead to read it. Have you suddenly forgotten why you refused to study Engineering in school? |
