TechCapon https://i1.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/dims.jpg?resize=768%2C432&ssl=1 Waterfall screen technology concept is a new design recently unveiled by Chinese smartphone giant Oppo. It’s just a curved screen, curving the side edges of the display to an extreme degree. It is just like the curved screen you see on Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Note devices but far more extreme. The curve is so extreme to the point that you can’t see any bezels at the edge of the phone. But when you look at the sides, you can see where the screen ends and where the bezel begins. The question on everyone’s mind right now is, will the screen at the edges be disabled so when you hold it, it won’t start operating itself. Also, where will the front camera be? Unless there is a plan to make the front camera under the display. Of course, that’s the only solution. https://i2.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/2019_07_26_165909-1.jpg?resize=768%2C540&ssl=1 The thing that will frighten users the most is the fact that if the phone drops in the floor or hard surface, will that be the end of the device? Oppo has not announced any date when the waterdrop screen will be made available. Neither has the company answered any question about it since the unveiling. One thing is obvious right now in the smartphone industry. The Chinese are now setting the pace for others to follow. https://i1.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/2019-07-29-image-2.jpg?resize=768%2C576&ssl=1 I’m sure if the concept becomes a success it won’t be long before the likes of Apple, Samsung and others join the trend. What do you think about the new water screen technology? Tell us in the comment section. SOURCE:https://techcapon.com/waterfall-screen-the-future-of-smartphones/ |
TechCapon https://i0.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/bigstock-Business-People-In-Video-Confe-68579764-1024x683.jpg?resize=768%2C512&ssl=1 Many multinational companies both home abroad looking to recruit new workers are now moving their interviews to the internet. Nowadays most companies conduct their aptitude tests online and also hold a video oral interview with the prospective staff online. Some people complain that after scaling through the first stage of the interview which is the exam, they bare make it past the second stage which is the online interview not to mention being invited for medicals. Of course, you cannot be invited for medicals if you don’t pass the interview stage so, in this post, Techcapon will take out time to explain why you failed that oral interview and how to prepare adequately for future interviews. https://i2.wp.com/techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/online-video-interview-talview.jpg?w=537&ssl=1 YOU FAILED THAT INTERVIEW BECAUSE YOU FORGOT TO: 1.. Check your internet connection and data leading to poor connectivity during the interview. 2. Test your audio and webcam quality before the interview. I recommend you use the Rode NT USB microphone for best sound quality. 3. Research about the company interviewing you. For example, Exxon Mobil is an American oil company while Total is a French oil company. Both are oil companies but their standards differ so if you give Total the American standard and vice versa, you have automatically failed that interview. 4. You totally forgot to look into the webcam instead of looking at the screen. If you watch Supersports, you’ll see the same mistake from football fans who call into the studio. If you do that in an interview, you have failed. 5. You forgot to ban your siblings, wife, kids etc from coming into the room while the interview is going on. In fact, you are advised to lock the door to prevent anyone from coming in. 6. Have a copy of your CV at hand during the interview. 7. Close all other applications running at the background of your laptop. Some of those applications will drain your data, battery and even interfere with video quality while the interview is going on. 8. Check the lighting in the room and position yourself against a plain background. 9. You forgot to dress professionally because you feel it’s in your house, so, therefore, no need to appear smart. That’s the first thing the recruiter will check. 10. Silence your cellphone, have a pen and paper at hand and also a glass of cold water to calm your nerves. There’s nothing wrong with drinking a glass of water in front of your recruiter. It helps boost confidence. Good luck with that next interview! RiyadhGoddess:is it the name of the thief? How do you know |
No one expects you to accept it in the first place |
cuvox:maybe it's because Samsung has more to loose if it doesn't work out. Look at the disaster that happened with it's foldable phone. As for my SSL, it has expired. It's to buy another one |
cuvox:yeah those Chinese guys like taking risks. Samsung is even afraid of taking the kind of risks those Chinese companies take in the name of innovation.. |
cuvox:okay I now remember reading it somewhere. All these small phones using whatsapp run on kaiOS. Nice |
AgreatMan:I use LG so I can attest that the updates are not making any difference. I don't know of others. |
skukimania:OK, it makes sense |
PatrickOkunima:you're right but you should understand that those soldiers are in a difficult position to make any decision. Will you want to be in a situation where your boss hates you and continue to witch hunt you? A soldier cannot even report his superior in the army. |
ACKayleb:yeah you're right |
PatrickOkunima:disobedience to order leads to court martial. I've lived in the barracks |
