It is a fact that the Meizu M3 Max is in Meizu’s list of upcoming smartphones, but all the specifications of the phone have not been officially confirmed. The Meizu M3 Max is a successor to the Meizu M3E which was announced earlier this month.

More specifications have emerged from Chinese social media platform Baidu, and we can confirm these specifications to be accurate to some degree. And just recently, live images of the Meizu M3 Max emerged, revealing more details about the device. Here is all we know about the Meizu M3 Max.
Meizu M3 Rumored Specifications
Display & Design
The Meizu M3 Max will feature a large screen with a width of around 6 inches and most likely a Full HD (1920 * 1280) display resolution. The live images reveal that the M3 Max has a physical home button with a fingerprint scanner baked inside. The fingerprint scanner would use Meizu’s mTouch fingerprint technology.
Design-wise, the M3 Max sports a metal unibody design with a curved back. It is expected to have on-screen navigation buttons.
Memory & Performance
The M3 Max would be powered by the new MediaTek Helio P20 processor with eight processing cores and maximum processing speed of 2.3GHz, according to rumors from Baidu. If this is true, then the M3 Max would actually be the first smartphone to ever use the MediaTek Helio P20 processor. The processor runs on the 16nm process, so it’s guaranteed to be faster than existing MediaTek processors.
The M3 Max would come with 4GB of RAM and two ROM variants with 32GB and 64GB internal storage capacity. It is expected to be expandable, though, with an external microSD card.
Connectivity
The M3 Max would surely support 4G LTE network connectivity and would come with at least Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.
Camera
The number of megapixels of the cameras on the Meizu M3 Max are not yet known, but the live images show that it is equipped with a dual-tone LED flash beneath the rear camera. No flash is seen on the front camera panel, though.
Software and Hardware
The Meizu M3 Max will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with Meizu’s own UI version layered on top. The 64GB ROM variant will come with stylus pen support specifically for Meizu’s mPen.
Meizu M3 Max Price in Nigeria, Kenya and India
As we said earlier, the details of the Meizu M3 Max have not been confirmed officially just yet, but reliable sources have it that the Meizu M3 Max would be priced at Rs. 18,080 / N85,000 / KES 27,400 for the 32GB ROM variant while the 64GB ROM variant of the Meizu M3 Max with mPen will cost Rs. 20,080 / N94,500 / KES 30,400.

More specifications of the next phone to be unveiled by Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Elephone S7 , have surfaced, including some live images of the Elephone S7 in the powered-on state.
Specifications of the Elephone S7 have been leaking out steadily since last month, and now almost all of its specifications have been confirmed including some details about the launch date, price and availability.

The S7 will come in form of a phablet, featuring a 5.5-inch FHD capacitive display with pixel resolution of 1920 * 1080. It is tagged as Ultra Slim , being just 9mm thick and weighing 0.6 kilograms. It is designed in the form of a bar and comes in blue and green colour variants. Courtesy of photo renders and the recently leaked live images, the S7 has been widely said to be a copy of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, particularly due to the way it is designed and the arcing curved screen it features.
Memory & Performance
The Elephone S7 is powered by a Quad-core 1.1GHz MediaTek processor. It would also come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expanded by a micro SD card.
Connectivity and Battery
The Elephone S7 offers full 4G FDD LTE support. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1 for wireless connectivity. The phone comes with two dual-standby micro-SIM slots, and a micro SD card slot for storage expansion.
The Elephone S7 comes with USB OTG support which allows users to share of the juice its 2,600mAh battery offers. Other connectivity options include file sharing through Hotknot.
Camera
The Elephone S7 packs a 16MP camera at the rear, which is capable of scanning the iris for unlocking the phone. The main camera is also accompanied by a LED flash for visibility in low- light conditions, and possesses Auto-focus for quick and accurate photo capturing. It is endowed with a lot of functions like HDR capturing , Anti Shake , Face Detection and Face Beauty .
At the front of the phone is a 5MP camera without LED flash.
Software and Hardware
The smartphone boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and comes with an accelerometer, proximity sensor and gravity sensor.

The Chinese company, Tecno is at it again and will be launching another enticing smartphone – Tecno Phantom 6, which will be a direct successors to Tecno’s 2015 flagship smartphone; Phantom 5 while the Tecno Camon C9 is still new in the market. The Phantom 5 is no doubt one of the best Android smartphones from the company.

If the leak is accurate, the new Phantom will come in two Variants; Tecno Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus.

Although, details about the upcoming phantom 6 is limited. According to the leak, the upcoming smartphone will spot a larger screen size that measures 5.95-inch (just as the “6” in the name implies), an upgrade from a 5.5-inch screen on the Phantom 5 released last year. A move to 5.95-inch screen could be a change in direction. And personally, I think it is in the right direction.

Tecno Phantom 6 will come with that premium look with curves on the edges, metal frame, and will be available in all colours as seen with the Phantom 5. The device is confirmed to be lighter and slimmer than the Phantom 5.

The Phantom 6 may have potential in photography. On the back, you will have a 21 megapixels dual camera with dual LED flash while the front camera info is yet to be revealed.

As for the memory, the standard Phantom 6 will offer same 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM that can be expandable up to 256GB while no details yet for the Plus variant. Both variants will come with USB Type-C ports. We are not sure yet if the Tecno Phantom 6 will come with that amazing fingerprint sensor.

In what will come across as a rather unbelievable development, a parrot is about to be called to testify in court.

Bud, the African grey parrot, may be used as a witness in a murder trial

The parrot, identified as an African grey parrot named Bud is about to be called to blow the covers on a murder case.

A Michigan woman was accused of killing her husband and the prosecutor is turning to Bud who was the dead man’s pet to help put her behind bars.

Prosecutors in America are trying to work out whether they can use Bud as a witness in a murder case after it apparently described the last words of the victim.

According to The Telegraph, Glenna Duram, 48, is charged with the murder of her husband, Martin, in front of the couple's pet African grey parrot at their home in Michigan in 2015.

His relatives believe Bud overheard the couple arguing and has been parroting back their final words, switching between a male and female voice.

“Get out,” he has squawked.

“Where will I go?

“Don't f***ing shoot.”

But it leaves prosecutors with a headache. Are the words admissable in court?

Robert Springstead, Newaygo County prosecutor, told the Detroit Free Press: “It’s an interesting novelty and it’s been a great opportunity for me to learn about African parrots

“It is something we are going to be looking at to determine if it's reliable to use or if it's information we need to prosecute this case.”

However, he ruled out asking the bird to take the witness stand.

Mrs Duram is accused of shooting her husband five times before trying to kill herself. She survived a bullet wound to the head.

Her husband's relatives believe they argued over unpaid bills and her gambling debts.

Mr Duram's former wife Christine Keller, who now looks after Bud, said the parrot used two different voices to depict the couple quarreling.

“I believe with all my heart that those are the last words of Marty,” she said. “I recognise two different voices screaming and yelling and it always ends with, ‘Don’t f***ing shoot.'"

It would not be the first time a parrot's statement has been considered for use in a murder trial. In 1993, a defence lawyer for Gary Joseph Rasp argued that an African Grey may hold the key to who killed its owner.

The bird said repeatedly,"Richard, no, no, no," suggesting his client was not guilty but a judge in North California ruled that the evidence could not be used and Rasp was convicted.
