So much has been said already about the phone and a detailed review will follow in the coming days as I put the phone through its paces to see how it performs. Meanwhile, here's a quick unboxing.

Well, interests differs though but as for me, I'll favour a device like with a long lasting battery life over another that has a lesser battery life. As a heavy user and as I'm always on the road, charging of phones isn't always easy to do. Plus the camera to me is a secondary feature and 13mp is good enough. So it's a long lasting battery life for me.

i totally agree. Camera is secondary in my case too and 13mp Ian too shabby as well. I need my smartphone to always have juice.

funmyade:
Does that mean that even with a 10kmAh battery capcity, this can be achieved too?

slimness? probably. But expect a significant increase in weight and maybe height and width too.

To achieve that slimness they make use of lithium batteries, such as Lithium Polymer (Li-Poly) and Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries. Li-Poly batteries in particular tend to be really slim and lightweight and these batteries are not enclosed in metal and so can be made to fit the sleekest and smallest phones.

This might well be the first 6inch device i own.

With PHCN one day on 2 days off rationing, the smartphone with 5000mah is perfect.

But why? I don't get it. Why releasing phones under the background? They don't need money or what?

I have been arguing this as not true when I heard it yesterday.

I don wonder too. Maybe they don't want it to share the spotlight with something bigger and longer

I think they might be launching a big battery smartphone with a display that is maybe longer than 5.5inch

Nigeria and the world cos of this particular itelS31 low light selfie smart phone

in all honesty I've not seen an Itel phone in over 5months.

emmavis4u0052:
y will I ? is it not part of the options in d question? itel edges

itel is still a toddler, come back when are 10yrs old and signing partnerships with brands like mcfc

This one just slipped under the radar.

Who is the guy behind the handle

He's a clown

Who is the girl behind the handle
She's a clown

emmavis4u0052:
can you tell me the phone trending more than itelS31 right now?

trending where? the world, Nigeria or your neighborhood?

shiftback:
Have you tried it? How's the app? is it worth my hard earned data?

Totally worth it. Mr Eazi's new album is available on there

paolokonqueror:
They really have cause they do a couple of giveaways in a short amount of time

Exactly, they look for the slightest opportunity to do a giveaway. The day I win a smartphone from Tecno or any other brand they've automatically won my loyalty for the next 10 yrs

jmichlins:
Note 7 wetin? Phone people refused to return even when Sammy promised return and had to threaten to remotely switch off the phone. Note 7 is still the best phone from Samsung until S8 is out

Who's talking about whether it's the best phone or not. Ask Samsung the impact the note 7 had on their brand image as well as to their purse and you'll know what I mean. Over 3 million units were returned and Samsung executives even had to kneel down and apologize at a press briefing. That alone should tell u how massive a fk up it was.

it's not the most trending phone, you lot are just spamming every thread with this BS

Xiaomi mi mix took design to the extreme.

check out Tecno L8plus and TEcno W5

Must it be any of this three?
Tell us your budget so that we can suggest accordingly.

I think it's generally accepted they are crazy. A great mind like Nietzsche couldn't understand women's thinking either.

ironically he died of syphillis contacted from prostitute's.

Norman4real:
this is a low end device focused on battery optimisation, you can carry your preferances onto the phantom series, otherwise don't expect those specs you listed from tecno unless its a phantom, camon or boom series.

I beg to differ.
Tech moves really fast. As time goes by the barest minimum in terms of specs are bumped up. This is 2017, regardless of target market FHD should be adopted for phones above 50k

Behankey:
Lol. That's why they keep following the lead of Tecno. Tecno is a trailblazer

I think the Tecno folks have understood that giveaways increases brand loyalty.

excanny:
Why are bloggers still circulating this untruth? Na wa o.

Probably for traffic. Also I'm beginning to think this dude pays bloggers to circulate this falsehood

I used to think the app was exclusive to Tecno phones, didn't know it's on playstore. Nice, will give it a try.

excanny:
Can't do without my Tecno Boom J8. For true musicheads.

oshey audiophile!
Any idea of the boom j8 still dey come with a headphone?

Jskelly11:
I'll go for the w4.
Thanks for your help all

Good choice
