TECNO'S focus is AFRICA. What's wrong in identifying a target market for your product, and setting out to conquer said market. Is there a Smartphone manufacturer that has more Market share in Africa than TECNO?

I buy all my devices from Slot because I dont like stories like this. When you buy from authorised dealers, things like replacements are done easily. I cant buy a phone from slot, use for 5 days, it develops a manufacturer defect and you tell me to go to carlcare. Except carlcare is closer to me, I will likely tell you off

Yea...the dealer should be able to take it to tecno/carlcare for you. But saying the dealer should replace it is a stretch.

What if it dropped inside water or he mistakenly installed a dangerous malware, why should the dealer bear the costs? Assuming he tried it on and it developed fault that very day or even the next day, then maybe he has a case. But five days? He should take it to any of the authorized calcare outlets for repairs.

The service center should be able to ascertain if it's a manufacturer defect or the user was responsible. If it's the former, he'll get it fixed at no cost, or a replacement if they can't get it fixed soon enough. But if it's the latter, he'll sure foot the repair bill.

If this is a case of poor usage then I doubt he'll be able to get a new phone but if the fault developed on its own, Carlcare is the solution or at least visit the store you bought it from, the person has some serious answering to do.

He bought it brand new so the phone would probably have been sealed at the point of purchase. If this is the case I don't think the seller has anything to answer for.

The poster you quoted is right. You can't expect to get a replacement from the dealer.
He bought it sealed hence he has no dealings with the dealer but carlcare. He should go with his warranty card to their office, of course they'll try to see if it's a software issue and could be fixed easily otherwise he'll get a replacement.

Of course. Highly volatile and dangerous, it's advised that you replace it immediately.

swelling of batteries mean only one thing- buildup of gas inside. The gases are produced due to electrochemical oxidation of the electrolyte. Such oxidation occurs usually due to overcharging of the battery due to a faulty
battery , or faulty charging electronics in the phone or battery charger.

why i think you should get the CX Air over the Hot4 pro.

CX Air: Nougat
Hot4pro: Marshmallow

The display panel used in the Hot4 pro is God awful. same resolution with the CX Air but you'd mistake the hot4 pro's display for a TFT. whereas the CX Air has a very vibrant display, rich colours.

design: All metal unibody on the Cx air Vs the plastic body on the Hot4 pro.

The CX Air has 13/13mp front and rear while the hot 4 is 5/13mp front and rear camera.

The hot 4pro beats the Cx air only in the battery department.

How do i know this? I've held both side by side and played with them.

You'll now start seeing students claiming the library as their favorite spot.

The Camon CX is warmer - warmer whites is supposed to be good for reading at night but at the end of the day it comes down to individual preference.

Camon CX is a 1080p FHD display while the s2 pro is a 720P HD display.

See photo at lowest and highest brightness settings on both - Infinix S2 pro on the left and Camon CX on the right.

obviously FHD is better than HD. I have the Camon Cx, and my display is not warm, thanks to miravision.

Being on GSM arena is not a stamp on quality. There are loads of crappy phones on that website so i don't get what the fuss is about.

It's evident people want software updates, Tecno should just do the needful and provide it. They've gotten a lot right; price, design, durability and It won't be nice to see loyal fans jumping ship because of software updates.
