It had better be cheaper than that, times are hard and we need good phones for a reasonable price. After all it's what Tecno are legendary for.

But if you feel you must buy them a smartphone at a very young age you could get one that has a kind of parental control feature.
There's a profile settings on my Phantom 6 that can help you disable key features and make kids use it safely.I can also disable data access on key apps like playstore so that they can't download any apps, disable data access on two, Facebook and Instagram etc.

This is absolutely correct.
I did a bit of reading and found out it's a marshmallow feature which effectively makes other smartphones on marshmallow capable of the parental control.
Like the new Tecno W5 and 5 lite.

Back to OPs question. A smartphone is the key to unfettered access to the internet and the many benefits and dangers that come with it.
Personally I think the longer you wait to give your child a smartphone, the better. 15 years onward is about right.

This is actually correct.
IPS LCD have thicker terminals compared to AMOLED due to its backlight requirements.

For a thickness identical to AMOLED, IPS device manufacturers have to put in more effort and sacrifices.

You can't risk your eyes with Tecno but you can risk it with other brands?

This is how it works. The iris scanner authenticates users by looking at vein patterns formed by blood vessels in the whites of the eye.
So where's the risk here

Two phones could have the same hardware/soc but one would outperform the other. It's a matter of how well the software is optimized.

This is exactly why they are thriving.

Their current position as a foremost OEM wasn't achieved over night, that's why every time I see their name at the Etihad stadium I'm always reminded of how far they've come.

In this day of hacking and stuff, having a phone with this much security is paramount.

There is a Hios launcher on the playstore and yes it has a lot of downloadable themes.

yes the network was back and good however we demand some sort of compensation and apology from the network.
for some days before now GLO network was a nightmare and nothing to write home about I believed somes life's , Jobs, opportunities and lost most have been recorded during that period .But to my surprise there was no message for apology , no data validity extention and compensation to their esteem/ value customers .this is a big slap on NCC and other bodies .we are indeed in a failed country where nothing is working
