Besides the ancient Egyptians, most Africans didn't think once to innovate or invent shit for thousands of years until this very day. The Mali Empire had the right idea when emperor Musa Keita I (or Mansa Musa for short) was incharge, bought back arab scholars, architects etc and built unviersities, libraries etc for his people and more. His Empire became the centre of world learning which attracted everyone across the known world and a library that rivaled Library of Alexandria. Mansa Musa was probably the only intelligent king in black african history besides Nubian kings of 25th dynasty.

Of course after Mansa Musa died, his mentally ret@rded sons ran the empire into the ground.

Prior to the Wagadou Empire, Africa was still mostly a bunch of tribal m0rons who couldn't even build a structure made out of stone. It wasn't until Europeans arrived, that Kingdoms like Ashanti, Benin, Oyo etc propped up and idiotically based their entire economies on slavery which you sold other black people into chattel slavery for dumb shit like mirrors, glass bottles, bottle caps, clothes, rum, umbrellas, matchboxes, and defected guns. Only for your trade "partners" to later turn on you, destroy your iron age Kingdoms, and colonize your ass.

Now its been almost 100 years since Africans gained independence and you lot still find yourselves in the same sitaution. Many African states have no clean running water. Most Africans still live in rural areas of their respective countries and have no electricity. Food insecurity is still rampant. Corruption is still rampant. Extreme poverty is still rampant. Still allow Europeans and Americans (now the Chinese) to take advantage of your country minerals because you elect dumb politicians with high school diplomas. Indians and whites are in control of some of your economies such as Zanzibar, Kenya, South Africa etc.

Like I said, even if our security agencies knew about it, they wouldn't come out to issue such security warning, it will create panic and chaos. It's usually issue as an internal memo.

Oga your write up only base on emotional feelings. Is there no freedom of association in Nigeria anymore? Was it in the CANs constitution that their member should not participate in politics? What concerned CAN with who becomes president and it's VP? Is CAN a political party to tell who their member should vote or not to vote for? The association is there to protect christians interest and that includes religion and politics so, where your freedom ends is where another person's begins.

You must know that Yorubas are naturally peaceful people, I never had issue with any Igbo person in real life even until now that I write, many of my friends are igbo both the one I benefit from and the ones that benefit from me, they don't tell us from our homes what tribe to hate or what tribe to love, rather they teach us to love everyone because we are not assured tomorrow happenings.

Tinubu's wife is Ishekiri, Akeredolu Igbo, Fani Kayode several igbo exes (and still chasing igbo girls), myself married from middle belt, so tribalism is not a Yoruba thing, matter of fact we only deal with people that tries to sabotage peace after which everybody moves on, you will not even think Yoruba and Hausas or whoever fought on that spot the day before.
I'm urging my igbo brothers on nairaland and social media to be reasonable, to be a president of Nigeria you can't make enemy with a major tribe, especially not a tribe like Yoruba with so many powerful and influential people...

You dont have to vote Tinubu even every yoruba man will not vote Tinubu but don't go about insulting him and his people over politics... When I newly joined nairaland I always said this was going to get to the street, we saw what happened in Alaba last week, I'm still saying it now that the way some igbo guys are going on social media it will make Yoruba start having the feeling that Igbos harbor hate for them, it's a very long walk but when you are there, you are there.

So.. I'm urging y'all to do politics without hate, of course there will be banter here and there but don't degrade a whole tribe, don't malign Tinubu, he is our leader, he's an elder state man in Yorubaland, no reasonable Yoruba man will enjoy it when you insult Tinubu and Yorubas in general. That's not how Obi can get vote, you can't flog someone to love or accept you, the love won't come real.

We have lowlifes in every tribe, so don't make it as if all Igbos hate Yorubas, you can't take this away from human being, the same way some people hate peter obi just because he is an Igbo man, likewise the same way some people hate Tinubu because he is a Yoruba but my own concern about Tinubu is that he will rely mostly on people to get things done and when such a thing happens, the person will often times rely on people for feedback just as what is happening to Buhari. I want a leader that can Google something on the internet to get a first hand information about something if need be and not the one that depends on others as people will ever tell you what you want to hear.

So, the issue of tribalism is not perculiar to a particular trine but it is an issue that politicians and low IQ people use to garner sympathy to themselves.
