too late. They said they are not voting. They were on the street today. You should have addressed it earlier before using force on them. Moreso your govt has so lied that no one believes u. |
Why is everyone disassociating themselves from this mans government naa? wife says she will not vote him again daughter criticized aso clinic under his fathers presidency His minister-Mama Taraba says she'd rather vote Atiku His brothers - Arewa youths says he is not performing this is not fair |
Thank you Ooni, I have waited for Tinubu, and Bakare to say a word on this but they have been quiet because it doesnt concern them. As long they are benefitting from the system everyother person can go to hell. In the words of Martin Luther King(jr) "In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." - Martin Luther King, Jr. |
Thanks for the video its quite educative. Do you run training on this? |
wise decision. For a government that can send military men after you for just talking. You better be careful what you say. you can talk when we return to democracy again |
hmm. Celebrity and their lifestyle of show business. The armed robbers will be thinking you are as rich as you claim on screen. I saw this beautiful piece on Nigerian Celebrities who only go with their natural hair and I was like this type will not be attacked by robbers |
I need to know how to really grow my natural hair. Anyone with tips? |
See how they steal your battery and mind where you park. It takes only 2 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6FoQrRYtp8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cU5Scok7bNw |
madridguy:Unfortunately your fathers think otherwise. So when you say WE, elaborate that u mean we Nigerian Teens |
When Nigeria demanded independence from Britain, it would be unthinkable for Britain to ask the Nigerians staying in UK to go back to their country. Thats foolishness. The people looking for peace are not asking that Biafra should not be but that it should affect their place of residence some of who were born there |
madridguy:you didnt read the post: asking for a country called Biafra is not demanding to quit from where they presently live. Britain didnt ask Nigerians and other Africans to leave their country because they asked for independence |
We have always heard it said that the people calling for war are those that didnt witness the diverstation of the Biafran war. Is that really correct. Many Igbo want a Biafran achieved without warfare, but still not cowed by the experience of war. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQbsXgOb0-c |
Ok I call this IgboExit from the Brexit coinage. It is the desire of the Igbos to leave the Nigerian Union and form Biafra, but what Im about to talk about borders on the quit notice given to Igbos by Arewa Youths so they can inherit their properties. The misconception of somepeople about Biafra is that Igbos will leave Nigeria after the nation is formed. Far from that, Nigeria declare In dependence from Britain and there are still many Nigerians in Britain. But the topic today is about Uganda, someone wrote In 1972, General Idi Amin, the Head of State of Uganda, ordered the 80,000 South Asians living in his country to leave, they had 90 days to comply and could only take $50 out of Uganda Of the 80,000 Asians ordered to leave Uganda, 23,000 were Ugandan citizens whose parents had lived in the country even before Uganda became a nation. Indians first moved to Uganda in the 1890s to work in large railway and infrastructure projects. By the 1970s, they were leading in business and commerce. Before the expulsion, Asians owned many large businesses in Uganda. A BBC News report posted that the Indians owned 90% of Uganda businesses and accounted for 90% of Uganda's tax revenues. Why did Idi Amin expel 50,000 Asians that gave him 90% of tax revenues? Well he accusing them of "sabotaging Uganda's economy and encouraging corruption" in addition to "milking Uganda's money". The expulsion was in Idi Amin"s words a “deliberate policy to transfer the economic control of Uganda into the hands of Ugandans for the first time in our country's history.” It was in effect a money grab by Idi Amin, according to a book by Jan Jorgensen titled Uganda : A Modern History, about 5,655 individual firms, ranches, farms, and agricultural estates even cars and televisions were reallocated by Idi Amin to selected beneficiaries, mostly individuals who whose only qualification to "inherit" these business was that they were Ugandan and friends of Idi Amin. This was an eradication of the Ugandan economic middle-class, with the express intent to seizure and transfer their wealth. So the Asians left Uganda, most moved to the UK, some to Canada, US, West Germany, it was an exodus. What was Uganda loss became the gain of the nations that accepted the Asians. In 2012, David Cameron the British PM called the Asians from Uganda “one of the most successful groups of immigrants anywhere in the history of the world”, why? because they prospered and paid taxes in the UK. What happened to Uganda? A working paper by the Maastricht School of Management examined the social and economic effects of the Asian expulsion from Uganda, the paper found and we quote... "The Ugandan economy was devastated by Amin’s expulsion of the Asian community........The real value of salaries and wages fall by 90% in less than a decade. ........In retrospect, the expulsion put an end to Uganda's post-independence prosperity.....Investments dried up, exports declined, and per capita incomes fell continuously from 1973 (Asians expelled in 1972). The working paper continues. "Thus, there were three main effects of the Asian expulsion: 1. Skilled managers were replaced by largely unskilled people, often drawn from the military and with little education; 2. The appropriation of their properties earned the country a long-lived reputation for lawlessness and property confiscation; 3. The manner in which former Asian businesses were acquired created insecurity of tenure, leading to asset stripping. in summary, the expulsion of the Asians from Uganda was an economic disaster. in 1985, President Yoweri Museveni, asked the Asian exiles to return to Uganda, some have. Now despite making up less than 1% of the population, the Asians are now estimated to contribute up to 65% of Uganda's tax revenues, in fact Uganda richest man, Sudhir Ruperalia, is an Asian. So the plan by Idi Amin to redistribute Asian property to Ugandan backfired, and today the Uganda economy is back in Asian hands. Collective wealth it seems is created organically, deliberately and strategically. its cannot be expropriated from one group of citizens and handed over to different group of citizens.....no. Those that forget history are condemned to repeat it.

THE CONTRADICTING TALES IN THE EVANS STORY I don't know if its only me but I have noticed several inconsistencies in the numerous stories carried about by news media and bloggers. I have followed the stories closely and always read all the ones posted on Nairalands front page. My conclusions: It seems they are formulating most of the stories to keep active visits to their blogs and websites. This is very possible since Evans can not deny anything on press. From all ive read here are the discrepancies 1. Evans is from Opi in Nsukka and Evans is from Umudim in Anambra State. The former circulated on Whatsapp and other social media few days ago. The story in Daily post Newspaper reports Evans as saying “It all started in the year 2000 when I fled my home town in Opi, Nsukka Local Government of Enugu State to Lagos after stabbing my fiancée when she decided not to marry me..." while Vanguard Newspaper reports he is from Umudim, Nnewi in Anambra state. 2. There was heavy gunshot before the arrest vs He was picked up from the ceiling and was alone. Some reports say there was heavy gun exchange that lasted for hours before he was captured another gave him out as hiding in the ceiling when the police nabbed him with no guards around the house. Vanguard said he the only resistance he put forth was slamming the door on one of the operatives 3. Who gave him away? One report says one Amaka who is his girlfriend did another said an whistle blower who heard the 30 million Naira bounty placed on his head did 4. The 30 million bounty controversy. They said it was the IG that told the Lagos commissioner of Police to announce the bounty. The IG has long denied knowing about any ransome. Na waooo, who do we believe I don't believe Evans is 36 years (except theres also football age in criminality), I dont believe he said that he is a very rich man now treated as a mere criminal, he is too smart to make such stupid statements while on arrest. There are so many others, and I think I will stop reading because this is looking like WWE where people fight to entertain, bloggers and even main stream media houses are competing for visitors and they are cooking up stories to keep us coming. • Almost every man likes the fact that their wives are pregnant but are scared by the possible outcome of the afterbirth as the women loose that their physical appeal adding more weight and making sex less enjoyable. For this reason most women are afraid loosing their husbands to younger women who have not been ‘disfigured’ by childbirth. In this beauty blog we show you how to get back to shape after each child birth. Read on 1: Get Started While You’re Pregnant If you are still pregnant, it is normal to gain weight, but that shouldn’t allow you to throw caution to the wind and start eating chocolate cake for breakfast or a family-size bag of chips for an afternoon snack. You will have cravings, and you should indulge yourself from time to time, but prudence now pays back greatly later on. Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you can be a couch potato. Walk around the block once or twice a day. This will benefit you and the baby by getting your blood flowing and getting fresh air into your lungs. 2: Nature Gives Weight-Loss Advantages Once the baby is born, there’s an immediate loss of 11-13 lbs. Breastfeeding will also help you lose weight, using up to 800 calories a day. And after you’ve allowed your body to recuperate (about 4-6 weeks) so that you can start exercising, a little bit of weight training will go a long way to helping you lose weight. Guess what? You don’t have to join a gym or buy weights. Your baby is weight enough. Hold the baby to your chest and do lunges. Lunge behind the stroller as you walk. On your back, hold your baby above your chest and do presses toward the ceiling. 3: To Lose Weight Get Plenty of Rest If your baby is sleeping, so should you. A baby’s needs can impose strange sleep cycles on adults and this can upset the metabolism and this makes it hard to lose pregnancy weight. Sleeping when the baby sleeps will allow you to avoid any long-term sleep deficits. That will keep your energy levels high and help keep sugar cravings for energy in check. If you don’t get enough sleep, you won’t have the energy to keep yourself moving through your waking hours, much less want to work out or get your exercise. 4: Consider Natural Weight Loss Remedies Many ingredients included in weight loss supplements are not approved for women who are pregnant or nursing. Consider some natural weight loss foods that will stem your hunger or affect your metabolism in a healthy way. Not all of these may set well with you, but give some a try. • Try some apple cider vinegar in hot water two or three times a day to help reduce fat. • Taking lime and honey in water a couple times a day is a natural weight loss remedy. • Tea made from Indian plum leaves has fat burning properties. Drink some twice day. • Green tea has excellent properties that help weight loss. Drink it often during the day. • A cabbage dish once a day is good for weight loss – low in calories and high in fibre. • Taken twice a day, acai berry juice can be an effective weight loss remedy. • Munch on negative calorie foods like celery, tomatoes, and cucumbers. 5: Join the Company of Other Mothers Misery loves company may be clue here. Not only good for moral support and sympathetic conversation, but you can also see what other mothers are doing that works for them. A mom who is on a second or third child can impart a lot of wisdom to a first timer. Also, it might be easier to take up jogging or going through a video workout routine if you have some others in your situation doing it with you. 6: Sex Is Still Good Every healthy woman knows that sex is good and a recent pregnancy should not forestall having an emotionally and physically good time. You will want to have healed enough, usually four to six weeks, so that there is no discomfort; but try to get back into the pleasure of things as soon as possible. You will want to regain good control of your bladder and strengthen your pelvic floor and Kegel exercises will help with that. 7: Of Course, Watch Calories and Fat You simply cannot eat empty-calorie foods like sodas and chips; nor go on fad diets that eliminate entire food groups. Portion size may not have been a huge problem due to the fact that baby took up so much space. At the end of the pregnancy you were used to eating less. Sometimes, however, moms will give birth and start eating larger portions once the baby has left. One glass of orange juice provides enough vitamin C for a day, beyond that you’re just adding unnecessary calories. Do let yourself have a treat every so often. 8: Rethink Your Whole Eating Philosophy When you were pregnant, you may have felt as though you could eat anything and get away with it. You will need to change this mentality after the baby is born. Adopt a few new rules if they were missing from your diet before your pregnancy. Each of these strategies will help improve your metabolic rate and cut your hunger. • Space your meals; spread your calories evenly around the clock. • Breakfast is the most important meal of your diet plan. • Fish, beans, skinless poultry, lean meat cuts are good sources of protein, lessen hunger. • Add fibre to your diet, this will help fill you without adding excess calories. • Eat nuts, they take longer to digest, keeping you satiated for a longer time. • Have whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and lots of low-fat dairy products. 9: Do Have a Regular Exercise Regimen You already know that getting back to exercise should be a gradual process, but you can always start some simple exercises after you are through four weeks of post-partum. There’s a gap in your abdominal muscles right after giving birth. It usually disappears within four to eight weeks. Make sure this gap is closed before doing belly exercises. • Pelvic tilts may help you reduce the belly fat. • Pilates and Yoga may help you gain strength and flexibly. • Bridge exercises help tighten abdominal muscles and strengthen core muscles. • An exercise ball is a great tool for tummy exercises after pregnancy. • Aerobic exercises such as swimming, biking, running, that will keep your heart rate up. 10: Allow Your Body to Recuperate Experts advise against going on a diet right after giving birth. Getting your body back means thinking about your health first – your body is trying to repair itself. Do not rush into things, but do not be too relaxed either. Your body should be given enough time to recuperate and restore its normal processes. The weight may not fall off as quickly as you would like, but if you stick to it and follow the guidelines above, you will ultimately please yourself. And you won’t have to go thumbing through a trashy tabloid to see how the stars lose their post-pregnancy flab. SOURCE: http://www.okpeke.com/10-proven-ways-regain-your-shape-after-childbirth/

why do bloggers take pleasure in relating the church with evil practice? An RCCG woman attempts suicide comes to mind. Meanwhile when you read the story you will see the woman ran from islam into church because she needed help not because she needed God. But today she is branded as RCCG Woman. The only connection with RCCG in this story is that the lady is a choir mistress but they put the logo bold and church name in the title. Its while reading the story you will discover there was no mention of the man being a commited member of RCCG. I will not even be surprised its a christian that did this to drive traffic and make money at the expense of Christ and the church. Just keep bringing a curse to your life by fighting the Body of Christ The game plan of the devil in Nigeria is to make people hate the church so we will slide into the US madness where morality is no longer a criteria in determining what goes into the constitution. It started like a joke in US (when they removed Bible from the school) but before you know it they started voting for gay marriage and trying to force it down on others. I am not saying evil practices should not be reported because the church is involved, but simple observation will tell you they try by all means to robe in the church with every way possible in other to paint it black. Its just too obvious #IStandwiththeChurch |
