I have an advert in the ad section of Nairaland with link: https://www.nairaland.com/988771/professional-logo-design-company-nigeria. Recently, I was trying to edit the info so I could place a banner advert that directs to the page and the page went off. All I could see was that the page is either deleted or hidden. Please help me rectify as I would want to run the ad as soon as possible before the year runs out. Thanks

EducationRe: University Girls Make N150k Per Week In My Club – Strip Club Boss by Techwriter: 4:59pm On Oct 21, 2014
I have met and interviewed some ladies who do this in ikeja, theytols me the ernomous amount they make and how they can't account for it as it leaves them the same moment it comes. I thought it was an isolated case until I watched Trisha show on YouTube about a stripper who also talked about her vision of stripping and making money to invest. She has no investmentment after so many years yet she makes lot of money

What you don't know is that being wealthy is different from making money. When you take the easy way out, you have not flexed yourentrepreneural muscles to develop the skills necessary to sustain such money. You will keep being in need. Easy come easy go.

More so those involved open themselves up to all manner of demonic influences. They may not know that as they open their body their spirit also becomes vulnerable for demonic invasion. People leave the club under influences they can't explain

Nothing ensures peace of mind like a decently made money. That is why Gods blessing makes rich and adds no sorrow. It's Gods blessing when it is made in a decent way.

Finally beware of Ebola and other diseases spread by sweat and other fluids as you lap dance with ladies of loose virtue who have lost the guide of their youth. A word is enough for the wise
EducationRe: 6 UNIZIK Final Year Students, Others Die Within 30 Days by Techwriter: 9:23am On Oct 17, 2014
It's not new. When I was in UNIZIK way back in the late 90s students and lecturers from my department (Geology) were just dying like flies in a particular period that the department (lecturers and students) had to organize a prayer session specially for that.

My advice is give your life to Christ and no shrine would be able to accept your blood because the blood that will be speaking on your behalf will be the powerful to be countered. And even if by chance you lost your guard, at least you will know where you're going.

EducationRe: Can Cramming Affect One's Performance After School? by Techwriter:
Yes it can affect your performance. It can affect it positively but it can also affect it negatively depending on other factors. It can affect it negatively if the student assumes life to be an academic exercise and is not street smart. But it can also affect it positively when you realize that cramming tasks the brain. It challenges the brain to work thereby expanding it's potential to deliver its potentials in real life The brain is like a rubber band and can never return to it's original "size" if stretched. Cramming stretches the brain by flexing one of the mental muscles. The brain has six mental muscles and memory is one of them.

Foreign AffairsIf Bill Gates Were Black...by John Hope Bryant by Techwriter(op): 7:13am On Sep 09, 2014
If Bill Gates were black, it would be less important that President Barack Obama is black. This is no slight to President Obama. It is an acknowledgment that while the route to success has changed, for too many in the black and minority community, their game plan has not.
For much of the past century, African Americans pursued social justice through government intervention, the ballot box, and ultimately elective office. While the number of black mayors and elected officials in this country is impressive, the number of black entrepreneurs is not. As a result, job creation in underserved communities, and among the black middle class, is stagnant.

The main driver of freedom in the world today is not the vote but self-determination and access to capital. When I speak of capital, I obviously mean financial capital, but I also mean the Latin root word capitas, or “knowledge in the head.” That means financial literacy education, financial capability, and financial and economic empowerment. But you cannot have freedom and self-determination, in the 21st century (an economic age), without an opportunity for and access to some measure of financial freedom.

This means that financial literacy is the new civil rights issue for this generation. Or, put another way: If you don’t understand the global language of money, and if you don’t have a bank or credit union account, you are simply an economic slave.
What Black America needs is a business image of itself that matches its political image.

Is it that GEJ is working and his government is undoing many coverups and administrative negligence or that he is doing all this because of next years election? I used not to support this dude, In fact I even voted against him but truth be told I may have been wrong. With several "transparent" projects to empowering the youth with entrepreneural drive, to the railway wonders and now rebuilding the desolations of many generations of leaders, I think I can say he is trying. Anyway this is my first time saying this on Nairaland.

However, every government should read emeagwali's thought about Africa and the way forward. I found it very inspiring(not minding the controversy surrounding the writer) http://think2wize..com/2010/09/where-is-africa-going-wrong.html

HealthDoes The Recent Ebola Outbreak In W.africa Remind You Of Botha's 1983 Speech? by Techwriter(op):
We just heard that 2 Americans has just survived an attack by the virus but another "American" brought it to the most populated country in Africa. How come HIV is said to come from the West yet we are the greatest victims. Don't be decieved we are not more sexually immoral than the West.
Now remember the speech purportedly given by former South African president Botha in the heat of Aparthied(80s). Part of that speech he delivered to his parliament reads:

I wish to announce a number of new strategies that should be put to use to destroy this Black bug. We should now make use of the chemical weapon. Priority number one, we should not by all means allow any more increases of the Black population lest we be choked very soon. I have exciting news that our scientists have come with an efficient stuff. I am sending out more researchers to the field to identify as many venues as possible where the chemical weapons could be employed to combat any further population increases. The hospital is a very strategic opening, for example and should be fully utilized. The food supply channel should be used. We have enveloped excellent slow killing poisons and fertility destroyers. Our only fear is in case such stuff came in! ! to their hands as they are bound to start using it against us if you care to think of the many Blacks working for us in our homes.

However, we are doing the best we can to make sure that the stuff remains strictly in our hands.....

My scientists have come up with a drug that could be smuggled into their brews to effect slow poisoning results and fertility destruction. Working through drinks and manufacturing of soft drinks geared to the Blacks, could promote the channels of reducing their population. Ours is not a war that we can use the atomic bomb to destroy the Blacks, so we must use our intelligence to effect this. The person-to-person encounter can be very effective.....

Christianity EtcThe Power Of Ideas By Rev. Sam Adeyemi by Techwriter(op): 2:14am On Aug 24, 2014
Many years ago, in a small town in the United States, a doctor climbed his horse and rode to a chemist’s shop. He went in through the back door. He carried in his hand an old fashioned kettle and a wooden paddle. He brought these items to the shop clerk with a sheet of paper on which was written the formula for a drink. Both of them began to bargain and eventually the clerk gave the doctor five hundred dollars for the items that he had come to sell. What the doctor sold to the clerk was worth a fortune to the young clerk but not to the doctor who gave away the items for just five hundred dollars.

To the surprise of the clerk, the content of the kettle which has since become a household name in the world, began to pour forth gold. The content of the kettle has been heard of in more places on the earth than any gospel.

The Addition that Made a Difference
Somehow, the young clerk added something to the kettle, the paddle and the formula. That thing, I believe is an IDEA. Today, the content of that kettle is the greatest consumer of sugar in the world. It is sustaining sugar plantations, the workers and their families around the world. It is one of the world’s greatest consumers of glass and has turned the fortunes of many men around. The name of this drink is Coca-Cola, and the name of the clerk is Asa Candler.

The same thing that the doctor placed a value of five hundred dollars on has today assumed a value that is difficult to estimate. The difference between the doctor and the clerk was one idea. The doctor did not realize that all the while he was holding the kettle, the paddle and the formula, billions of dollars were potentially lying in his hands. Unfortunately, he did not find the idea so he could not get the billions of dollars. But one young man caught the idea and was able to release the potential for the billions.

In as much as I respect your fight for sincerity, I would also want to let you know that you believed the White stories, because slavery made most of you believe everything White is Right. But that is false. They wrote what they wanted you to read. Have you ever read that Shakespeare did not write the books attributed to him(Google it!) or that Neil Armstrong never landed on the moon? The white conspiracy theories that amplifies their achievement and belittles yours caught up with you and you swallowed them and now using it as an example against your black brother. Even the Sahara Reporter that blew the whistle cannot deny that Philip Emeagwali had a Gordons Award, owns two masters Degree, is a geologist, mathematician and engineer all of which are great feats.

Hate him or love him, he has achieved what majority of Nigerians will never achieve. It may be exaggerated, yet you can't deny the fact that he is an enigma. One more lesson for you: those who focus on the wrong side of people rarely move ahead in life. While you are busy criticizing them they are making more impact while you have not moved a step from Nairaland where you stay and waste your bytes and time. So use your time to do something more constructive than looking for who to bash. Try it and thank me later

Oil Tanks exhausted, Think Tanks Needed
Should Nigeria migrate from oil to soil, as is often suggested. I think not. It should leapfrog into the Information Age. Nigeria cannot return to an agricultural age because the West is being urbanized, the East is being eroded, and the North is being desertified. A Nigeria without oil must make the transition to a knowledge-based economy.

Nollywood can redefine 21st century Africa as the continent of arts and innovation. If Nigerians have an average of three children per couple, it will become the world's third most populous nation in 50 years. It will lag behind China and India, but will have a greater population density. Where will we find farmland? My grandfather's farmland was located where Onitsha market now lies. For countless centuries, my Igbo ancestors were farmers. Sons walked in their father's footsteps, ploughing the same land. Their life expectancy was about 37 years.

Their Southern counterparts are investing in trips to Europe, thuggry and community projects such as boreholes!

Then the rest of us, are struggling to get money to buy "imported" like car, shoe, etc and to install cable so we can watch CNN and "real" football!

I understand you, but Nigerians need to value education and knowledge first before you bring such things if not they will loot the infrastructure. Our youths would rather attend a political rally to share immediate money than IT school to prepare for the future. Our political leaders would rather empower a tout than a youth with vision. We need a mental revolution and that is the essence of his write up

You may see Philip Emeagwali as controversial but one thing you cannot take from him is his philosophical writing skill and his scientific prowess. Yes it may have been exaggerated but the truth still remains that most Africans have not attempted his feat in the science world. This is one of his write up I believe every African youth should read:

WHERE IS AFRICA GOING?
Out-of-the-Box Thinking in an In-the-Box World
I once believed that capital was another word for money, the accumulated wealth of a country or its people. Surely, I thought, wealth is determined by the money or property in one’s possession. Then I saw a Deutsche Bank advertisement in the Wall Street Journal that proclaimed: “Ideas are capital. The rest is just money.” I was struck by the simplicity of such an eloquent and forceful idea. I started imagining what such power meant for Africa.

The potential for progress and poverty alleviation in Africa relies on capital generated from the power within our minds, not from our ability to pick minerals from the ground or seek debt relief and foreign assistance. If ideas are capital, why is Africa investing more on things than on information, and more on the military than on education? Suddenly, I realized what this idea could mean for Africa. If the pen is mightier than the sword, why does a general earn more than the work of a hundred writers combined? If ideas are indeed capital, then Africa should stem its brain drain and promote the African Renaissance, which will lead to the rebirth of the continent. After all, a renaissance is a rebirth of ideas. And knowledge and ideas are the engines that drive economic growth. When African men and women of ideas, who will give birth to new ideas, have fled to Europe and the United States, then the so-called African Renaissance cannot occur in Africa. It can only occur in Paris, London and New York.
