LiteratureRe: Jessica's Tears. by Teco2(op): 5:11pm On May 08, 2019
Weeks after Jessica's meeting with Donald, she began to felt feverish; some parts of her body were gradually changing, especially her breasts. She observed that her nipples were getting bigger and darker; filled with doubt and curiosity, she went to a hospital. And after several tests, the doctor confirmed that she was pregnant, Yes, Jessica was pregnant!

'No, this can't be, how can I be pregnant? seven years, good seven of my marriage...no pregnancy...but...but...' she thought to herself.

She held the doctor; she wanted to be sure it wasn't a dream; Oh yes, she could feel the doctor, he was right there before her in the flesh. She stood up; her husband must hear this, o yes, she was going to tell him the good news right away.

'But....but...this isn't your husband's pregnancy' a part of her reminded her.

Now, fear gripped her. The smile that had brightened her beautiful face suddenly melted away like a dark cloud; Oh yes, for the past two months, there wasn't any sexual relationship with her husband; the only person she had had sex with him during those periods was Donald. Yes, Donald was the father of her unborn child. But she was worried; how would she tell the world that the pregnancy she was carrying was not that of her husband? How will her husband react? will he kill her? Now, she was in a dilemma: was she to lie to her husband? tell him that he was the father of her unborn child or just tell him the truth and face the consequences of rejections?

She went home without any resolution, perhaps she wanted to sort it over at home. She got into her room; her husband had just left the room; he had come back for a document that was required in his place of work and in a hurried, he had forgotten some papers on the bed. Jessica's eyes registered on those papers; she picked them up and was stunned at what she saw. In one of those papers was her husband's secret---it was a medical report which had long been hidden away from her; the report had it that her husband was suffering from a low sperm count which was caused by an inherited disorder known as klinefelter syndrome and consequently, he cannot father a child. Jessica opened her mouth in dismayed;no, that was the highest level of wickedness, how was she going to describe her husband? No, that was not a husband, he was her enemy--her enemy for life!

Jessica arrived Crest hotel at 1:30pm. She stood at the gate and called Donald on the phone. He came out and picked her up to his room--the hotel room was big and vlean; air conditioner softly blew cold air into the room and the bed was doubled. Jessica sat on the bed but she was uneasy.

"You're welcome...I'm glad you honour my invitation"

He said but she didn't respond.

"so what can you take?" He asked.

"Nothing" she blurted.

Now, he looked at intently and he observed that her countenance was sad.

"Jesi, what's the matter? you look troubled"

Still, she said nothing; but different questions were running through her mind: why was she there in the hotel in the first place? what if someone saw her? How could she have betrayed her husband so cruelly by visiting another in a hotel? No, this is totally wrong; she thought to herself.

"Jesi, my love, what's bordering you?" he asked.

"please, stay away from me..." she shouted, tears slipped from her eyes down to her cheek. "I am....I am...." She couldn't complete her sentence but she was already on her feet about to storm out of the room but Donald held her back.

"Jesi, my Jesi...don't walk out on me...I'll go mad, go crazy if you do"

She stared at him and he stared at her.Ah, in the voice of 2baba:"Everytime that I look into your eyes, I see fire in there and if you look into my eyes, you see desire in there"
And like 2baba, these lovers could see fire burning inside the eyes of each other and the same fire rekindled the old feelings they had for each other.

"I love you Jesi, I've always been dreaming of this moment " He said and like a flash, she found his lips meeting hers. she tried to resist but no, her mouth betrayed her. They kissed and the kiss was so deep so much so that Jessica lost the presence of her mind. His hands moved slowly and unbuttoned her shirt, then he grapped her breasts inside her bra. she moaned and like a twinkle of an eye, she was on the bed and he was on top of her---stark naked!

At home, Jessica's husband had returned from Abuja and his mother presented him a new wife.

"But mama , I never told you I wanted a new wife"

"How would you? how would when that witch has used juju on you"

"please Mama, mind the way you talk....my wife is not a witch"

"oh, you want to insult? go ahead and insult me because of that witch you called a wife"

Exchange of words continued between mother and son untill the door flung open. it revealed Jessica.

"Darling, where have you been?" her husband asked as soon as she stepped in. Jessica only smiled without saying a word....

*********

That night of the same day, Jessica lay beside her husband unable to sleep. She was wondering whether to honour Donald's invitation or not. She stared at her husband who was enjoying his sleep, then a part of her told her:

"Yes, that's your husband, he who loves you so so much, why are you thinking of betraying him by visiting another man in a hotel"

But another part of her countered .

"No, Jessica, that's no betrayal...you just want to go there and make things clear to him"

"No..." The other part countered back..

"There's no need to make things clear to him...forget about him and be with your husband"

"No, if you don't make things clear to him, he will search for you wherever you are...just go to him and tell him you're married and whatever you had in the past is no more"

And this very part of her won. She would go and let him know that she was married; that now she belonged to another man and let bygone be bygone.

"Jessica, My Jessica" Donald said breaking the lingering silence.

She stared at him without saying a word.

"please, stop staring at me like that....stand up and give me a hug...it's me Donald..don't you recognize me?"

And stood up and held him tight in an embrace, then she lifted her eyes and they beamed into his.

'He's still young and handsome' she thought to herself.

But then, she suddenly disengaged herself from him. No, this isn't right; why was she admiring him? why did she embraced him? No, a married woman was not supposed to that; she must leave now;

"Madam, I don finish your car"

The mechanic's voice broke into her thought.

"ok" She said and then turned to Donald.

"Donald, I'm sorry...but I really need to go...maybe next time" she said and made to leave but Donald held her

"I'm sorry Jesi...i know I hurt you in the past...i left without informing you....but please, give me chance, I need to tell you something...i have been looking for you.

"I think this is not a right place to talk...have my card...i work in Abuja, I came to Jos yesterday for a business trip...I'm staying in a hotel-Crest hotel...Please Jesi, can you meet me there tomorrow? "

The truth is Donald was the love of her life, she had loved him passionately; She had only married that ugly husband of hers because Donald dissapperared and was no where to be found; he disappeared without even informing her where he was going to. But now she was married and to honour his invitation as a married woman and in a hotel for that matter was unthinkable, unacceptable. She would tell him that she was married. She concluded mentally. But when she opened her mouth to say something, nothing came out.

"I shall be waiting for you tomorrow, God's willing" He said .

Her bright eyes glistened at him; the feelings was still there, there in her eyes.

"Jesi, I'll be glad if you honour my invitation" he said again.

"ok, it's ok" she said.

But it was a reluctant answer; not that type from the heart but Donald was satisfied with that. He smiled and she too smiled but hers was a sort of a lying smile!

LiteratureJessica's Tears. by Teco2(op):
It was a dark night; Jessica was on her bed twirling and winding like a fish wince from the pond, then suddenly she found herself in the hospital in front of a doctor.

"Mrs. Jessica, you're two months pregnant" the doctor announced.

"What?" Jessica asked in surprise,.

How could she be pregnant now? seven years, yes, good seven years of her marriage, no child, not even a miscarriage!

"pregnant?" she asked again to reassured herself.

"Yes Madam" the doctor assured her.

This was an extraordinary news; she was obviously overjoyed, in fact, her joy knew no bounds. She would prove to her enemies especially her mother-in-law that she was now a complete woman not an "empty calabash" as she used to called her.

Now, she stood up without saying a word; she moved out of the hospital and got into her Toyota jeep . On her way home, she almost collided with a truck on a high way; her Jehovah saved her; She would have made an unimaginable accident, yet the good news of her pregnancy had beclouded her mind so much that didn't realise that she had narrowly escaped accident that would have claimed her life.

On reaching home, she saw her husband--a short man with a pot, dark like charcoal. Now, she rushed to congratulate him for a job well done, to embrace him, leaping with happiness, shouting in near ecstasy.

"Darling, I'm pregnant" she said happily.

But the husband? not so with him; his face rather was set in a stony expressionless mark as he turned away from his wife who was dashing to envelope him. She was shocked by his response; what was the matter with him? could she have offended him in any way?

"Darling, I'm pregnant and this calls for celebration "

She said again trying to force him to smile but he didn't, instead, he gave her a powerful slap that forced her into a wild loud shout that suddenly woke her up.....

Guys, Your comments and criticisms will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Jessica sat up and contemplated over the dream; what kind of dream was that? she became restless and confused; then suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"open the door". She heard her mother-in-law saying.

She stood up from the bed and walked to the door and opened it .

"Good morning Mama...I hope there's no problem" she said.

"What? Are you asking me whether there's a problem? why are you shouting at this time of the night? "

Jessica was silent. what explanations could she give to her mother-in-law.

"Oh , I said it...you're a witch but my son would not listen...but very soon I'll destroy the spell you used on my son" she said angrily and left.

That was her plight and the plight of every barren woman in her society. But was it her fault? Had she not visited different hospitals and all the doctors had confirmed that she had no problem? Had she also not visited pastor several times?

"Mrs. Jessica, have Faith in God" the pastor had said in one of her visits. " Have you not read about Sarah in the bible? How long she stayed without a child? " The pastor had asked not for Jessica to answer but to create an impression that her period of childlessness was nothing to compared to that of Sarah in the bible.

"But at last what happened? she conceived and bear Isaac...so be patient Jessica, wait for God's time and he'll surely bless you with children "

That day, Jessica left encouraged. She left with the hope that one day God would bless with a child like Sarah in the bible. But that was then, three years into her marital life and now it was seven years and she wondered if there was hope of conceiving. Nevertheless, she took her Bible and prayed fervently that night till day break.

********************************

The next day in the afternoon, Jessica was watching bishop Steven program on the television. Bishop Steven was her favourite man of God . As she was watching, the door flung opened and it revealed Jessica's mother-in-law and a young lady holding a kind of bag Nigerians called 'Ghana must go'. she held the bag tightly as if her life depended on it.

"Good afternoon Mama...Where have you been?" Jessica asked.

But her mother-in-law ignored her as if she was not talking to her.

"welcome to your new home my daughter " Jessica's mother-in-law was talking to the young lady they came together.

"Well..." she continued "come with me my daughter, let me show you your room." They went in and Jessica stood there wondering what was going. A moment later, they returned and saw Jessica still standing there like a statue. The look on her face be like: ' look, I need an explanation to what is going on here". And as if her mother-in-law could read her facial expression, she cleared her throat and began:

"Jessica, this is Amanda, my son's new wife...she came to give him what you failed to give for the past seven years"

Jessica could not believe her ears. She pinched herself to be sure she wasn't dreaming. yes, it was real, happening right there before her. She opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out; then she looked at the lady, from head to toe; then her mother-in-law and thought to herself :

"I'm not saying anything. ..I'm not going to exchange word with her...I'll wait for my husband, oh yes, I'll wait him, let him come back and explain this drama"

With that she went into her bedroom, took her purse and went out.

*************************

Jessica was driving around British American road; there was a heavy traffic and took her almost fifteen minutes to passed. But as soon as passed the traffic, her car developed a problem; there was a strange sound coming form the engine. She managed to drive the car off the road to look for a mechanic; fortunately, there was one nearby. The mechanic started working on the car as soon as she drove in. Then, someone drove an ash colour Camry car into the mechanic workshop; looking through the window, the driver of car saw Jessica.

"Jessica " He murmured to himself.

He came out of the car and walked up to Jessica . On seeing him, Jessica opened her mouth in shock; in front of her was Donald--young, tall, well-dressed and well-ground man. She couldn't believe her ears; Was that Donald in front of her? the love of her life!

LiteratureThe World Of Thighs. by Teco2(op):
My people, I was told never to tell this story. That this story is too explicit, too erotic--a story of sexual indulgence. That this kind of story can corrupt the minds of our children. And I asked: what there to hide? Are we going to continue with the hypocrisy of hiding things from our children, things they ought to know from their parents not strangers? In a world where jobs are mostly given to women who are willing spread their thighs...in a world where lecturers give good grade to female students who are willing to spread their thighs. ... In a world where true love only exist where female thighs are concerned, then parents must teach their children how to protect their thighs from the predators of thighs. With this reasoning, they agreed with me that this story like bitter secret must be let out of the bag.

Now, where shall I start? Ah, let me start from the happiest moment of Rebecca's life (for that was the name of our heroine). Let's say her Prince Charming just proposes to her. She stares at him without uttering a word. She couldn't believe that Samuel, her Prince Charming has pop the question: " Will you marry me?". indeed, her happiness knows no bound but whole thing about the proposal is happening too fast, too unexpected. They met two months ago and they only know each other in the present not at all in the past. inwardly, she feels holding him tight, showers him with kisses and then scream with "Yes" but no, she has a dark past--dark past that could jeopardise their relationship. But no way she's going to hide her past from him even if it means losing him. But wait...didn't they say love can performed miracle? 'Yes he love me...I can see it in his eyes..if he's not in love with me, he wouldn't have propose to Marry me...yes, he love me and he won't abandon me because of my past' she concluded mentally.

"My love...Sammy My love, before I answer your question, there's something I need to tell you". She says.

"No, whatever you want to tell me must wait...all I want to hear now is your answer to my question" He counters.

"But my love..."

"No, I said no...just answer my question...or you don't want to be my wife?"

"No, ofcourse not..."

"Then answer my question".

She stares at him. hopelessness written all over her face. then comes her reply

"My love, I will be your wife...I will marry you"

He smiles, hugs and kisses her.

******************

Now, let's assume that Rebecca takes her Prince Charming to her house to see her parents. The first person that comes to welcome Rebecca and her Prince Charming is a nine years old boy.

"Mummy, Mummy" He addresses Rebecca.

Rebecca stares at him without giving him a motherly hug. then she stares at her Prince Charming whose face is like that of someone who has seen a ghost. fear written all over Rebecca's face. Not that she's ashamed of her son like other mothers ashamed of their children gotten out of wedlock. Those kinds of mothers asked their children to called them "Aunties" instead of "Mothers" . No, Rebecca is not ashamed of her son, in fact, that was exactly what she wanted to tell Samuel the day he proposed to her.

"You have a son?" Samuel finally finds his voice.

"Yes, yes....Junior is my son...I'm sorry I wanted to tell you but..."

"But wat? O you wanted to tell me that you're nothing but a who're...a who're who goes around sleeping with men and ends up with a bastard?"

Tears slip from her eyes down to her cheek.

"please my love, hear me out..."

But Samuel angrily walks out...

Noise? No, noise would have been an understatement...There would have been a huge hullabaloo and an instant call for Mr president to resign.

Christianity EtcRe: Equating Islam To Terrorism Is Foolish - Pope Francis by Teco2(m): 6:23pm On May 30, 2018
PVision2020:
You're mistaking Judaism for Christianity, the two are quite different - the difference being Jesus Christ.
Islam have more similitude to judahism than Christianity, that's why there are more Muslims in Israel than Christians, and the aggressive nature of Israel.
Jesus admonish his disciples (Christians) to love their enemies and do good to those who oppress them. He even went further to call those who abhors hatred towards others murderers. So to Christians when you hate, slander and back bite your neighbor you have committed a sin as greivious as murder, even when you've not committed the act.
That's why you will never see anybody kill in the name of Jesus despite Christians being killed in thousands. Christians won't retaliate violence even when pushed to the wall.

All the Old Testament (Torah) that you quoted above applies verbatimly/literarilly to Judahism and not christianity
so obviously, you are telling us that the " God" that inspired those verses in old testament is different from the God of the Christians?

Wait a minute, you are probably wondering why would a man in his right senses declared himself THE WORST OF ALL DRUNKARDS or perhaps you maybe thinking I'm crazy or this is another effect of alcohol. My friends, I'm not crazy nor am I under any influence of alcohol. This is my honest confession and I hope you will have the patience to wait and listen to the rest of my confessions for you hear what alcohol did to my life and my family.

My father was an ex-soldier and he was popularly known as "Sergeant ONE BULLET". He boasted of killing thousands of enemies with only ONE BULLET during their peace keeping mission in Liberia. No one knew how true the story was but the fact that he came back alive while many died during the war made his story believable. And so people called him sergeant one bullet instead of his real name sergeant Mulumbu.

My father was not a drunkard not atleast untill he returned from Liberia. His return coincided with the emergence of terrorist group in the country. They killed hungry and defenceless people. They bombed churches, mosques, schools and markets. And in the face of this, we were told that some Government officials diverted billions of naira aimed at procuring arms and ammunition to fight the insurgency. Consequently, the insurgency grew in strength and sophistication.Friends, My family was one of the victims of terrorist attacks. Two of my brothers were killed. Mahumi was a medical student and Ezikiel was a law student, Both were coming home from school that fateful day. They were in the school park when a suicide bomber blew himself up and everyone else at the park. The passing away of Mahumi and Ezikiel devastated my family and unleashed a torrent of grief so profound that my Father, sergeant one bullet took solace in alcohol.

There was a restaurant and Brothel in my neighbourhood. They called it MADAM Bleep AND EAT DELICIOUS RESTAURANT AND BROTHEL. There, My father would drive away the grief of losing his two sons by taking alcohol as he believed in the saying THAT ALCOHOL DRIVES AWAY ALL MISERIES. But my friends, My father gradually became addicted to alcohol and a regular visitor to Madam Bleep and eat delicious restaurant and Brothel.

One day, I was looking for my father ( Mind you I was only fourteen years old ) and someone directed me to the Brothel. I went there and saw my Father sitting with a woman whom I was told was the MADAM Bleep AND EAT DELICIOUS. I greeted them but my father was too drunk to notice me.It was madam Bleep and eat DELICiou that came to my "rescue".

"You be sergeant one bullet son?" She asked.

"Yes....yes....". I stammered.
"Alright. ..come here and sit down".

I hesitated at first but seeing that my Father didt protest, I went and sat down.

"You be handsome pikin". she said, touching my head, my forehead and face admirably.

" You want some?" she asked, pointing to the bottles of alcohol on the table.

I nodded My head affirmatively.

She took one of the bottles of alcohol and handed it to me. My friends, that was my first time I tested alcohol. I turned round and saw naked women dancing, their big big breasts dancing with them. For the first time in my life, I saw naked women and for the first time my Manhood reacted to what I was seeing.

I went home that day but couldn't take those images out of my head. The images of naked prostitutes kept appearing in my and I was desiring to go back to the Brothel to have another bottle of alcohol and feed my eyes with the unclothedness of prostitutes. My friends, that desire kept hunting untill I was 22, by then, I was already addicted to alcohol and a regular visitorto Madam Bleep and eat delicious restaurant and Brothel. That was the same period my Father passed away. He was in the Brothel that fateful day completely drunk and a prostitute came calling. My father could not resist and that was his end,. He died in a most shameful and disgusting way. He was found dead on top of a prostitute. And I succeeded my Father as the regular customer of Madam Bleep and eat delicious.

One day, I came back home drunk. The alcohol directed me to my mother's room and behold I saw my mother stark naked. But my friends, my eyes were seeing a different woman, maybe one of those prostitutes in the Brothel but not my mother. My penis saluted, in fact, it was threatening to tear my trouser. I began moving toward my mother.

"No...no son, don't do this, I'm your mother ". She pleaded.

As loud as my mother's voice was, the alcohol was interpreting something different --something similar to what I had been hearing at the Brothel.

"Come, come and Bleep me...Grab me, my body is yours".

And indeed I grapped my mother, pushed her to the bed. She struggled and struggled but I overpowered her. She finally layed like a wounded lion and I removed my Penis and penetrated into her. My friends, the moment I released my sperm and removed my Penis inside my mother, the alcohol suddenly dissappeared and realised it was my mother I slept with.......Ah, I committed the worst #TABOO.

"Alright. ..come here and sit down".

"Sai Baba....sai Baba....saiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Babaaaaaaaaaaaa 2019".

"Aha, is that a new song?"

"Yes,a song for my president. ...my incorruptible General. ..don't you think he deserves to be in Aso Rock for another four years?"

"Which Aso Rock are you talking about? the one taken up by rats? I don't think Mr president go fit stay there for another four years".

"You're a mischievous man....an irresponsible element, a wailing wailer ".

"Did I say anything wrong? "

"people like you are the enemies of the government, you work day and night to undermine the effort of our darling president but God pass you, insha Allah Baba is still going to be there in 2019"

"You see, now you are calling me an enemy because I'm speaking the truth.Look, I'm not against Baba but at the same time, I'm not going to be lying in the name of support for Baba...We need to stop praise singing, instead of distracting Baba with 2019,we should allow him concentrate on his, after all ,he has two years remaining. Beside has he declared his intention? "

"No, not yet...."

"then please allow him concentrate on his job and fulfill the promises he made during his political campaigns ".

"But Baba has fulfilled almost all his promise....He is a man of his word ".

"What....are You on weed or something? which promises has Baba fulfilled? "

"Are You blind? his achievements are so glaring "

"Perhaps, you're talking about hunger, inflation, unemployment, insecurity and suicide that are common under this administration ".

"Do you see why I called you an irresponsible element? Baba has tackled insecurity, food items are no longer expensive and do you know why? Baba's policies encourage local production and a lot of rice mills are springing everywhere in the country ".

"Yes, I agree with on that but about the 3million jobs he promised? "

"Ah, I see, you must have been at the PDP convention day before yesterday. ...I can see you swallowed all the nonsense spoken by Atiku ".

"What nonsense are you talking about? "

"Ha, don't tell me you were not at the convention. ...I thought you're a PDP member ".

"look let me make something clear to you. ...I'm not a politician, I'm just a concern citizen who monitor the conduct of government officials and speak on where the err.....now tell me, what did Atiku say? "

"The same thing you are saying now...that the APC government promised 3million jobs but Nigerians ended up losing 3million Jobs in one year".

"But he was right...."

"Oh no, not Atiku, was he not part of APC that promised 3million jobs? That's simply a statement by a desperate politician".

"All politicians are same...They are political frogs jumping from one political party to another. it's not surprisingto hear Atiku berating the party he left few weeks ago but that those not change the fact that Baba has not fulfill that part of the promise"

"No, was Atiku not part of the PDP that failed to provide 3million Jobs in sixteen years? how on earth would he expect APC to provide that in two years ?"

"My friend, PDP never promised that but APC did. .....well, that's by the way, what was the outcome of the convention? "

"One Uche Secondus wins the chairmanship ".

"That's good......it means the election went smoothly, free and fair".

"No, I don't think so"

"What do you mean? "

"Can you imagine, the number of accredited voters was 2215 but the total number of vote casted was 2295"

"What....how comes?"

"Are You asking me? PDP and irregularities are like 5&6"

"it seems PDP have not learnt their lessons and if they continue like this, they would have to count themselves out of the race...."

"Are You even counting them? oh my friend, stop dreaming. ...PDP has lost its integrity since 2000Bc"

"But is still not too late for them. .."

"Yes, is still not too late but are they ready to mend their ways? that was their party's convention yet they were not honest to themselves ".

"By the way, have you heard that Nigerian women are now killing their husbands? "

"Ah, are you talking about maryam Sanda? "

"Yes, our women are becoming something else. How would a woman killed her husband and leave her son or daughter fatherless and possibly motherless because if justice is to take it course, should wil end up in prison for the rest of her".

"Yes, one of my neighbours too, his wife cut off his manhood for cheating on her".

"Ah, just imagine a man without his genital organ".

"Ah, Baba must do something about this".

"What! what has Baba got to do with women killing their husband's?"

"Is he not our president? his citizens are dying in the hands of their wives. Maybe he should talk to the minister of education to introduce a course at the university like: " How to defend yourself against your wife " or " Don't marry second wife ".

"Please leave Baba out of this....but come to think of it, man are also at fault. ....won't they remain faithful to their wives? "

"I agree with you but there is no justification for a woman to kill her husband ....why not walk out of the marriage? well, I still insist that Baba has to do something ".

"Baba again? well, have you heard that one of our state governors introduced a new ministry in his state called ministry of happiness and fulfilment? "

"No, I don't know anything about that ".

"Are u not in this country? "

"I said I don't know anything ".

Alright. ...imo state Governor introduced ministry of happiness and fulfilment "

"I think that's a good new for the people of Imo....maybe he wants his people to be happy ".

"How would they be happy when the state government is not paying their workers paying promptly and are using state funds to erect statues".

"Well, don't judge him yet.Maybe with the creation of ministry of happiness and fulfilment, people of Imo will start smiling ".

"We hope so.....".
